When we last talked, I misjudged where things went wrong. It was only around page 43ish.
And we wouldn't be deleting everything, we would simply rewrite what happens. This does not mean that we use the same plot etc... This means we do whatever we want and if we so desire to take certain things from previous writings and incorporate those into the story then we can.
It will be much more fun this way and I think people could possibly get excited again.

This issue isn't where you come in it's what to do about the story.
Please be patient. You will be a part of the outcome of this thread, just please don't be pushy about it. I understand your excitement.

Ok i've been thinking
Asmodean is an angel right????? And i basically embody evil.
How about, after a series of defeats, i go power hungry, and begin attacking the forsaken ones, out of semi-paranoia, afraid of they would do the same.
Finally i am the only one left. Then me and asmodean face off, a long and well thought out RP, which involves both of us getting beat the hell out of. but instead of killing me, he converts me. (Remember LHW will continue after the forsaken war, and i still want a character)

Dudes, I just got this idea and I know you all want to end the forsaken war and stuff but I HAVE to say this or it's gonna keep bugging me.
A real cool twist to the story could be Ancient Hunters. Dark spirits created long ago to combat the dark ones before the crystals were created. These shadowy spirits resemble TA's avatar (which is what gave me the idea). We would think from their appearance that they were bad though.

Yeah, so we get in a battle with them, but then some Forsakens show up. Since their purpose is soley to combat the Forsakens, they would attack the Forsakens, which makes us realize that they are on our side. After their battle maybe one of them could join as an NPC, and then we could have a final showdown with the Forsakens and Shadowcaster against us.
And as for your idea, 2X, it's a good one, but I don't think you could actually kill the forsaken ones by yourself...

Ok i like MM's idea. The group could call on the ancient hunters, all of the forsaken ones are killed, except I. I want a showdown with the most powerful good guy. But i dont want to die, just converted.

No.
-2X, I think that there's no way you're going to be able to keep your character after it all goes down. He's a Forsaken, just like the others, and it would take a crazy miracle to get us to believe your character isn't lying. Besides, he would be overpowered anyway. You're free to make another character though.

He will be converted, i can work out an angle that He originally was a human/elf, whom was warped by the dark arts, and lost all identity of his former self, but the evil will be driven away from him, he will just simply go into exile.

Alivia was the only mortal. You'll be caught in a bunch of legalities if you try to pull this off. I'd also prefer it if you just made a new character, but if you can make this conversion work, then more power to you. Just be warned that it won't be easy.

The stories can be different.
The Unholy one was back from far far far far ancient times, before humanity even came to power. He wasnt evil to begin with, he was possessed, because he meddled in the affairs of necromancy.

It's still changing the script after the characters have been defined 2X.
The only way I can conceivably think how to do what oyu want (and make it believable) is to totally drain you of 99% of your energy and leave you to wander a pitiful wreck who has NO chances of ever becoming powerful again - which is fitting punishment for a Forsaken One, but not much fun for you.
Sorry .
I personally dunno why you're so attached to him, what with you just disappearing for a few months and then demanding all sorts of things, but that's just me I guess.

I already have plans.
Besides My character was never fully defined, set in stone as the others were.
I can make it he was became the unholy one way way way way before the rise of humanity, his study of the forbidden arts got him possessed.

I think Asmodean says it best, that you should consider yourself as only one-step above a newcomer. We understand that you have lots of ideas that you want to share, but you are borderline demanding things rather than collaborating with other people.
If everyone could please vote, in the poll, we might be able to come to a decision. Again I would really like to start over from page 44, despite the vast amount of plot I made with Shadowcaster, however I think we should be able to piece together a similar story if we so desired. Rewriting something will only make it better.

Story Idea...
I like MM's idea, and I'd like to expand on it. I know this is a bit overdetailed, but we need some form of a storyline and plan to emerge before this war can end. Here's my vision of the story, which is of course only a guideline, but is a good starting point for drawing up post ideas and such.
What if we were to rewrite only the story in the Shroomerish Forest (I see no need to rewrite neither RSF's nor my stories simply because there's no confusion there) from page 44 and then build up to the post where Motherdark dies? After Shadow and Alivia turn to leave the city, the Hunters suddenly appear before the pair and announce that Motherdark's pendant, which had been destroyed along with her, had imprisoned them. They then announce their purpose, to destroy the Forsakens, who would still be fighting/pursuing the good guys as they struggle to collect the Zephyr in the forest.
Alivia then tells them that the magi and Forsakens were last in the Shroomerish Forest, and that they had better hurry if we were to get there in time to stop the Forsaken Ones from catching the Supreme Magi and their friends. She leads Shadow and the Hunters to the forest and they find the Forsakens about to face off with the Magi, who have yet to find all of the crystals and face imminent defeat, yet are prepared to fight nonetheless. Both the good and bad guys turn toward this third group, both thinking that the Hunters are against them. RSF could also be here, and he see Shadowcaster with these newcomers and immediately writes them off as evil. The Hunters begin to fight the Forsakens, and the good guys realize that these hunters are not evil at all. The Magi leave the Forsakens in the forest to find the crystals to find and defeat the Horsemen who had mysteriously disappeared from the scene. Shadowcaster, RSF, and Alivia disappear in the chaos as well.
Perhaps the Hunters can be given a backstory, but they will win out eventually in the end after a dramatic battle. The Magi also find the remaining crystals and defeat the horsemen.
As for the Unholy One, his power would need to be significantly drained, and I think it would be easier to simply create a different character than it would be to add a whole other backstory to your character, but I have some idea for your character, if you'll hear it.
Remember how RSF was cursed by the evil forest? Perhaps the Unholy One was also so cursed once, and had wandered the earth with only one purpose, to break his curse. He isn't mortal in any of the legends, because his story is mysteriously absent from those legends, but he was once, long long ago, a mortal. The curse could be comparable to the curse in Pirates of the Caribbean.
After giving up on finding the cure for his curse, The Unholy One (who will then have had a different name) instead focused on using the curse to his advantage and he became very well versed in the arts of necromancy. The vitality of his life that had not yet ended combined with the proficiency with which he understood the nature of his curse soon developed him into the most powerful necromancer in the land. This is where he got his nickname, the Unholy One. It wasn't long before Motherdark became interested in his talents, and the Unholy One was he fifth enlisted into her ranks, after only the horsemen. This was the first generation of Forsakens, the rest Motherdark created herself, aside from Alivia. This is why the legends say the assassin queen was the only mortal, even though she was truly the second of two.
Whenever RSF's curse is broken, the Unholy One's curse is broken as well, but not before much of his necromanctic powers are drained by the crystal. (Of course, we have yet to decide what exactly will break that curse.) He is again mortal and has been drained of his godly power, but he is still a very powerful necromancer. Once the curse is broken, the Forsaken War ends.
How's that sound?
