Ok i used some complicated maths, human psichology , chemistry and etc. and i came to conclusion that pros made rulez, becouse they are very afraid to lose against the n00b, this could bring them the moral trauma
Btw that buddy in LAN got owned twice by me BEcouse i found implosion scroll see, you dont need no town banning

Seriously, I like the idea of a one-time Newbie tournament, but fear the logistical nightmare that it undoubtably would become (What is the criteria of a nOOb, what time frame do players have for reporting their games, etc???)
I think our best bet to have a serious tournament of this nature is to speak to Vesuvius (creator of ToH) and ask him to set up a Competition using the ToH. We could figure out some of the details with him and offer to help in any way...or just let him do all of the work! LOL! This Competition could be be managed and played following the same concept as the Ceasar competition.
If you would like, I could initiate contact with Vesuvius and see what he thinks or find out if he has tried something like this in the past.

This Noob tournament sounds good... I think if the creators of the game put things in it like Necro, Conflux, and implosion than you should be able to use it. I think it is true that the pros just don't want a Noob being able to beat them in a game.

About that tourney, it would be a great thing man, but the time isnt good right now, the session is nearby and i have lots of stuff to do, but after that it would be great

I'd like to participate too. I'm not exactly a noob(or at least i think so) but i haven't played a single pure H3 game since WoG came out(2001). And i never played online only some hotseats against computers(WoG again). But first i have to see if i can join a game and play some turns

Has anyone planned out how this tournament will work? Like round robin or something like that. Maybe once it gets a little more underway someone should write down everyone whos joining or make a thread for people to state that they are joining the tournament. Just to keep things organized.
