This is all really exciting! I always wanted to play the forge, and with it's completion the haunting spirit of 3do and Nwc can finally rest in peace.
As for Forges Music
I was going through some of the mp3 in Homm3 and I noticed that there was one left by 3do called "Secret Theme" Since this progect is in part a homage to 3do maybe we could use that theme IDK
Other than that:
I don't fully understand this unit but I think it truly sheer awesomeness. I mean like I'm in love with this thing. Like a crazy high tech dino tank is probably the most awesome thing ever.

I believe that unstoppable-looking Dragon Golem will be the level 7 unit, and will be called the Dreadnought. But don't quote me on that.
As for the music, the SecretTheme was from the original Restoration of Erathia, and was intended for the 'Seeds of Discontent' campaign. But here's a suggestion: why don't we use the one named BladeABCampaign? Given its theme, I'm almost sure it was the theme intended for the Forge, especially since it was never used in any of the campaigns...
Other than that, 'The Robot Army' sounds excellent. For those who don't know, it can be heard via a link somewhere in this thread (I'm too lazy to locate it, sorry).

This robot comes from M&M 7,
at the end of the game you have to defeat some of them to finish the game and obtain a jewell(they were very powerful).

Quote: Hello.
About the new Heroes' classes for the Forge...
"Cyborg" is not a 'class'(ANY class could be a cyborg. All it means is that an organic creature has mechanical/technological componenets such as a bionic arm or even an antire robotic body with a human brain or some such), and has nothing to do with "magic". Traditionally, the "Technomancer" is a better fit for a magic hero and while "Technician" fits the Forge, a term like "Artificer" has been a long standing staple of fantasy. Artificers are tinkerers/engineers/gadgeteers that pop up with some frequency in science-fantasy works.
Just my two cents but I have been an enthusiast of science fantasy(going back to Gene Wolfe's books, the original Warhammer 40k, Shadowrun, etc.) for a LONG time.
Technically, most of the units you have created are cyborgs so it makes no sense to simply use "cyborg" as the 'magic' hero class.
Repeated because I cannot emphasize this point enough. The names "Cyborg" and "technician" really do not work for the Forge town. You have to understand that Heroes twons' are centered around varying themes. The Rampart's theme, for example, is 'nature'. hence the Rampart's heroes are 'Druids'(traditional nature-oriented 'magic' users) and 'rangers'(traditional nature-oriented 'might' heroes).
The Forge town was intended to be a blending of magic and science fiction(re: 'Science-fantasy') as it's theme. The traditional 'magic' using heroes of such themes would be something akin to "Technomancer" while the traditional 'might' oriented heroes of such a theme(or as near to it as you can get) would be "Artificers" or "Gageteers"(Wizardry 8 anyone?). You could also go in a different direction and use any sci-fi styled soldier(re: "Shock Trooper", "Gunner", "Laser Knight" or whatever).

They work perfectly for the Forge town. Why do you think that 3DO chose them? The original idea was best ,its a shame it got scrapped back when they made the expansion. Technicians and Cyborgs belong with the Forge ,if you'd put in other classes it wouldn't be the same. I wish to congratulate the team that has been working on the project with their great progress and please keep up the good work ,your a great inspiration to us all.

3DO did not chose them. Little is known about what the forge was to entail and they never, to my knowledge, revealed the hero classes.
And besides, 3DO was not known for brilliant decisions for naming things in Heroes 3. I was there when Gutwulf posted at their message boards that they were having trouble coming up with creature upgrade names(they did not want to just slap "arch", "greater" or "Lord" onto every creature upgrade) and solicited suggestions from the fans at the forums.
The first teenager to come along and post his list of ideas included such travesties as "wolf raider"(rather than something more sensible like "Worg rider" as a "wolf rider" upgrade"), "Black Knights/Dread Knights"(ignoring the fact that this is redundant considering "Death Knight" is the might hero for necropolis) rather than something more undead-ish(i.e. "Spectral riders"/"Spectral Champions", "Undead cavalry/"Reapers" Hell almost anything would have been better!) and I think "War unicorns" and "Ancient behemoths" were also in that list.
I could go all day about how bad tho0se were but back to the topic at hand...
"Cyborg" is not a class. Pretty much every unit that belonged to the Forge was cyborg! It is a designation for a living organism that possesses bio-mechanical parts. A guy with a bionic finger that does not work half as well as a normal finger is technically a "Cyborg". It is neither a class nor does it have any relevance to either "might" or "magic". "Cyborg Soldier" would be acceptable because that would be a class designation/archetype.
"Technician" is a modern term for anybody who does any sort of electronic tinkering/repair or maintenance. Again, would make no sense as a "class" designation for either "might" OR "magic".
This all comes down to knowledge of the genre of science fantasy and game design in general.

Zielvitz have any chance of beating the grove town into production? This looks like it might be a good year for Heroes of Might and Magic 3, even is Slava has disappeared off the face of the planet!
