Nice work.
You should have less war machines, maybe elephant support riders?
The animation would be hard...
And mercenaries as neutral troops.
What about a commander appearing on your side for every 100 legionaires?(its just an example, open to any changes)
Or have increased defence because of turtle formation(just suggestions, I am not trying to overpower)
Tactics should have extra effects with this town.
And you should have a low-level shooter similar to archer since archers are so important in an army.
What about wooden siege towers?
These are just suggestions, I don't know anything about modding or programming anything.

You really don't get sarcasm do you?
Anyway, you're new here so i guess you have to learn some day... If a project hasn't any new posts for some years then it's pretty much abandoned.
And FYI, visiting the last pages of this forum and digging up forgoten projects, won't actually make them alive again.

@Vector: Dude you may wanna check the date of a post before replying to it. There's like 5 threads you posted on from '07...
Anyways seeing how enthusiastic you are, do you have any skills modding? I'm always looking for help with my town that's like 60% done

Try looking at Rome Total War , there are a lot of units you can copy (maybe not the defs but the ideas)
Peasant and an upgrade to a halfling (recoloured) could be an option for lvl 1

Hastati / Principes
Velites / Skirmisher
Cohortes / Legionairy cohort
Samnite Gladiators / Murmillo Gladiators

Cataphracts have originated in Asia Minor and have been used extensively by the Sassanid empire, along with the more anti-cavalry developed Clibanarii ( Klibanophoroi in greek ). Only the Byzantine empire has used cataphracts and cataphract archers and this has been for a century or so. Roman tactics did not involve cavalry ( just light cavalry ) due to its limitations.
