just finished dungeon campaign. every time the rainbow appears over Raelag i get so excited.(empowered implosion + luck on archdevils). I found Shadya to be useless even though she's got everything from armageddon to conjure pheonix. On the last mission i just blasted through the garrisions, even the one with 3k imps(just reload and you'll eventually get Raelag to go before the imps)

Warlocks are cool:

Skills
racial
defense
destruction-secrets of destruction(+20 mana!!!), master of fire,
Light-resurrect!!!!
sorcery-double regen, erratic mana, arcane training
luck-resistance, soldier's luck(useless), warlock's luck(saved my ass a few times)

3rd Map

I try several times to finish 3rd map, and at the end i found that i don't have the right spell and ability.

Restarting form 1st map, raise the level to maximum on each map with destructive magic leveled up. Summoning magic is not neccessary although it is very good if you can have conjure phoenix. The most important spell is Meteor Shower, Implosion and Dark Ritual Ability, get empowered spell.

on the 3rd Map, Realag and Shadya with empowered meteor shower. Realag go to neighbour city to conquer (use meteor shower and implosion, and the battle will finish before 5 turn. in my case ussualy only 3 turn). Shadya going around to capture all mine, no need to recruit any creature in 1st week, but you must build your city anytime you have resource, but your priority must be high level creature like hydra, dragon or shadow matriarch.

after capture one city, realag must wait for demon army, and you can crushed it very easy. After that, only recruit high level creature (don't waste your money to recruit low level creatures) both for Realag and Shadya, and go capturing other city in different direction. Shadya go through left portal (near the 1st city) and realag through right portal (near the 2nd city). You can fight any enemy heroes with Meteor Shower and Implosion. The high level creatures is not used to attack, but to defend. If you waste your money to buy low level, it will easily killed by enemy spell.

For each city you have captured, hire a hero, but don't buy any creatures. Let the money accumulate, and buy creatures only when the enemy heroes approaching your city.

Realag and shadya must move everyday to conquer other city.

have a nice win.

How I passed it:

The Clanlord-There is not much to say about this mission. I just collocted as much as possible mosters from the town, walked with realag around and level up some levels. Also, it's important to have some strong magics. The ability "Empowered Spells" helped me also after this mission, so choose it in the fisrt opportunity.
In the tournament, I attacked first one of the weaker players and then I went to the side of the cave. I passed the turn and then the other players fought with each other and forgot me. I won the last one and I took the ring.

The Expansion-I chose 10 minotaur gaurds. Notice that in this mission, you don't need to go every time back to the strong town, you have the spell "sommuning creatures". After it I went overground, captured some mines and the first garisson, and went near the small lakes, to the underground town. After a turn, I met Shayda. I used her to sommun creatures form towns and brought them to realag. After it, I stopped the massengers and captured the other towns. To find the Tears of Asha, I just clicked where I thought it might be, and then checked in the puzzle if I can see there my walk sign. I found the Tears of Asha in the middle of the crossroad, afetr the bridge. I brought it to Vibeth. The Mother of Darkness is just beatiful!

The Cultist-Here you should here get attention to every detail that happends in the map. You might be attacked from three differnt directions.
when I started, I captured the western town on the first island (on the south-east on the map). I  waited a little bit, captured some mines around and attacked the other town of the island. From here, it's getting much harder. You should care to two towns, while the enemy comes from three derections. I attacked the town in the south west. It's very easy to defend it, cause to get there, you have to pass at the same way as the first town that I captured. After it, I went norther and capturd the closest town. I went to the nothern town of the map (not the one in the corner) and captured it. Slowly, I walked to the town that in the north-east of the map, and after I captured it, I waited a while, took a big army with me, and went to attack the town that in the corner of the map, with the garisson.

The March-In this map, all you have to do is not meeting Grawl with Shayda, or not meeting him before realag is strong enough. Just one Importand thing: if you want to get the strongest creature, walk a little bit  in the caves, don't move only by the Teleporters. The best creatures aren't near them.

Realag's Offer-First thing, find the border guard key, go underground, and go to the subterranean gate at the south west of the map. By the way, The thing that guarding it 120-150 nightmairs. After it, go quickly south. Capture the town. Realag will automatacly destroy it. After it, go with Realag and Shayda to the border gaurd. Isabell and Markle will appear. Stand with realag nother then Isabell and Markle, and win Veyer when he comes.

That's it! Good luck everyone! [=

Someone should change the text to specify that you need both Heroes with you in the end of the map.

Very difficult campaign, the Dungeon one. I never got the opportunity to have the Elemental Visions ability, and only in the fourth scenario got the Empowered Spells ability. I did, however, have huge advantage of Expert Sorcery coupled with Mana Regeneration and Erratic Mana.

I only got Meteor Shower towards the end of 5th scenario - AFTER having defeated Grawl, who was tough, but manageable. I mainly succeeded because I had Expert Attack and Expert Defence, I think. Also, with Knowledge 17 and Spellpower 39 (!) my empowered Implosion and Chain Lightning was pretty devastating to him.

Also, I made a mistake of attacking the last castle, which cost me very dearly, and when I had to attack Veyer, his 600 Imps got turn before Raelag, which drained me of 150 of my 170 mana ... Ouch.

The best way to win Mission 5

The fifth mission proved difficult, simply because of the number of troops you face in every single battle, especially since you're outnumbered most of the time.  The best way to overcome all these troops is by making your hero as powerful as possible in the previous levels.  Instead of winning every scenario as quickly as possible, take your time and upgrade your heroes skill.  Because I used this approach, by the time the 5th mission rolled around my hero had 20 attack, 20 defense, 33 spellpower, and 31 knowledge.
The skills you obtain for your hero are also very important.  The three most important ones, i think, are defense, destructive magic, sorcery, and dark magic.  Defense is important because it keeps your creatures alive longer.  Destructive magic is especially useful if you have a hero with alot of spellpower.  By the 5th mission, my empowered implosion could deal over 2000 damage.  Sorcery is important because it allows you to cast more spells in combat, makes your spells more damaging, makes you mana last longer, etc.  As for my final skill, dark magic, while some people say its not too helpful, it has several very important uses.  The spells you need to know are puppet master, blind, and mass slow.  In the scenario when I attacked 3,000 imps, I cast puppet master on them first so they couldn't drain all my mana and then had them kill 20 arch devils in one turn.  With the puppet master spell, you can gain control of the enemies most powerful unit and use it to kill all the others, while losing very few creatures yourself.
Finally, to win the scenario you have to put both your heroes past the garrison, not just Raelag.  At first I just put him through and nothing happened.  So then I killed every single creature on the map, which is a ridiculous number before I checked this forum and learned what I did wrong.
If you use magic effectively and play smart, level 5 should pose no problem.

And fifth one is here.

but the heroes you will encounter (in towns) are not so bad.

And Grawl? I don't think that you can say he is not that hard with following army:
44 Archdevils
66 Pit Lords
89 Nightmares
140 Succubus Mistresses
581 Cerberi
564 Horned Overseer
631 Imps

I went through the underground behind the Red Gate. When you follow the way there and go through the portal you will come back in the bottom right corner of the map. There I followed the way to the left but right after the goldmine there Grawl emerged and with my army which consists of:
15 Black Dragons
35 Shadow Matriarchs
40 Deep Hydras
65 Minotaur Guards
350 Assassins
I see no chance to defeat him. How should this be possible?

You just have to be really adept in magic.  Use the puppet master spell to control his devils and attack his pit lords.  Then use blind to blind one of his other creatures and slowly destroy the rest with destructive magic.

Actually, you don't have to fight neither grawl or any others in the last mission. At least I didn't. There are two ways to complete it. Underground and Above. The first way is the easiest one. With some luck and skillfull approach it seems that the objectives can be completed without fighting at all( apart from a couple of garrisons and the final battle, I guess). I personally fought only a some neutral stacks, couple of garrisons and two lame Inferno heroes underground. After you exit to the surface in the south western corner of the map, there is an Inferno Castle, which is heavily guarded,a  weak garrison and not-so-friendly Grawl roaming somewhere near. There is also a Sanctuary, which allows you to safely transport both of your heroes to the border.
The other way is to go on surface. This will take more time, more fighting, and therefore more effort. Defeating of ridiculous armies and garrisons could be rewarding in experience, however I don't think it's worth it because by that time your hero should be fairly accomplished warrior.

Where you need those if you have empowered destruction spells. Empowered Chain Lighting(950 damage) and Empowered Fireball(750 damage) does wonders Especially with the elemental vision
when playing the dungeon campaign you better forget about Shayda anyway, i only used her in the 2nd mission where controlling the map was quite difficult.

Just wondering, can i split one stack of creative into two or more stacks in a troop. eg.: in Raelag's troop, split already have 100 assasins into two stacks of 50 assasins.

Read this forum and know that Dungeon Campaign is really hard to get through... Will the next campaigns even harder? Wow... Looking forward!...

Blood Furies

I am playing the first mission, and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to keep my Blood Furies from being destroyed.  The AI seems to realize that they are the most dangerous creatures I have, and as such they become the target of every melee, missile, and magic attack the AI can throw at me.  Earlier posts have other players breezing through with just their Blood Furies.  How?!

I'm stuck on the second level too, trying to find the Tear of Asha to build the mother of darkness. It is in a place where nothing is moving, with a road starting from the top goes halfway down the screen and then veers off to the bottom right corner. The road is surrounded by mountains and has no trees, dead or alive, in sight. Does anyone on here know where that part of the map is?

Well if you stand next to the stables and the eldritch well take the street down to the left corner of the map. make sure you hero has such an mighty army with him that he leaves a trail behind him. then you let your hero run down to the southwest corner of the map when his movmentpoints are spent click on the puzzle map you should then see the trail. if not then walk one more day then you'll find it.
After you see the trail on the puzzle map it will be easy to find the tear.

I rushed as fast as I could and still can't beat or  pass beacause of GRawl in the 5th mission of the dungeon campaign. How is it possible that you made it??? What should I do? Earn more money and upgrade my creatures or get more of them. If so where to look for additional heroes. I didn't bother about the red key. Help!!!!!!!

I choosed the 30 dark riders, went and took all the key's from the tents, got an artifact that boost speed which is guarded by nightmares.I placed Shadya in a sanctuary so she had no problems.Went with Realeg into underground and then got out of there in the west corner of the map.Veyer kept teleporting here and there from where I could see him. Then with Shadya I exited the underworld and started following Realeg. Some hero tried to come after me but I had a 4 day head start. With Realeg I took the garrison.By this time I had lost all my dragons because of pit lords.I crossed to the other side of the garrison with Realeg and then with Shadya just a bit later.I fought Veyer but I cannot remember when.Use your strongest units to kill his Devils,Cerbers and Nightmares and poison his succubuses
