While art might really spice it up, I think in the end, Nival is gonna design the creatures the way they wanna do it. Besides, if we do all the work, what's left for them to do. Hehehe. Someone mentioned Acibiades sent in his Dwarf proposal to Nival. How did he do that?

It was I who mentioned that Alci said he sent his dwarftown to Nival. Don't know how he did this however. My advice, just ask him.

How about someone post some pictures?
one find online, or just your sketch, would do.
But personally I would hate to see another greenskin orc... want more uniquness from the typical fantasy sterotype of orc and goblins and oger.

Well really Orcs should be redskinned like in DMoMM (someone correct me if this is wrong); it's a real shame there isn't much of a crossover between the games.

I believe we stated somewhere that Orcs have green skin because the wizzards have used reptile-skin in the process of creating the Orcs. Still as the Orcs in DMoMM have redish-brown skin, I think that we should change it to redish-brown for the sake of continuety. We could use the reptile-skin part to explain their very tough hides.

How do you come to that fact that wizards created orcs? In gremlin history there is written that they weare created from already living goblins! And how can such uncivilised brutes like orcs be created by wizards?

Sinbad, its written in the Academy History page that the wizards created the orcs. Yeah i think we should change the skin color of the orcs to red for the sake of standardization as well. This is what Acibiades had to say:

Well I must offensively disagree with skin changing! Isnt there in the history also written that the wizards created greenskins?

You can do whatever you want offensively but there isnt any mention of greenskin orcs in the history. If you look at the orcs from Dark Messiah, their skin is reddish brown. So... Theres your answer.

You wanna make a poll? Why? The orcs are already red in Dark Messiah. Therefore they are gonna be red in the expansion. I'm not talking bout blood red. I'm talking about brownish red. Why don't you take a look at the Dark Messiah website and see what they look like Sinbad? For the sake of continuity and standardization they have to be red.
Guys, there are four different email addresses on the Nival site. Which one do you think we should email, or should we email em all? And if so, do you want me to go ahead and email them?

What does that Dark messiah have to do with Heroes? In Heroes, the orcs were always green! And why not make a poll???

How much do you know about Heroes V anyways Sinbad? Heroes V is NOT a continuation of Heroes 4. Nival and Ubisoft bought the series over from 3DO. Heroes V is a BRAND NEW SERIES which has no relation what so ever to its predecessors. DARK MESSIAH on the other hand is a SPIN-OFF from the Heroes series. BOTH games exist in the same universe. Like world of warcraft and warcraft 3 exist in the same universe. so orcs in dark messiah are gonna be the same orcs in Heroes V: Hammers of Fate. So the orcs could have been green, blue or purple in the last 4 games, but in the UBISOFT Heroes series, they are RED. Even if we make a poll, Me, War-Overlord and GnollMage already vote 3 against your 1. And I'm sure the others are gonna vote in favor of red. So it really is pointless having this debate.

I say we should try to mail every one of them singlely, more chance to be noticed. But I think you should wait until monday.
Creating a poll about the skincolour is rather useless. First of all, it will not affect this Stronghold because we are already finished with it. Secondly, by the time there are any conclusive and representative results, we'll probably already have had some reply from Nival. Thirdly, it will be one of those "I-don't-like-the-way-they've-done-it-because-I'm-a-conservative-peasant-and-am-afraid-of-changes" poll. Which will probably lead to it being ignored.
Lastly, I don't think the Stronghold will be included in the first expansion. I think it would be more realistic to aim for the second expansion.
P.S.
Shouldn't it be included that Grostarh is a campaign hero ?

I've sent an enquiry email to offer@nival.com I think it is our best bet. Here's the details of the guy I sent it to. But yeah. Any finalizations should be made by Tuesday latest before we send off the entire Stronghold off. Thanks for the offer DragonLord 3000, but I'll email them, since I've already sent the enquiry letter.
