I think that's because my heroes mastered learning early in the game and I had an Instructor NPC running around with me since level 45.
Anyways I wish I could play another MM game, but MM7 runs too fast on my computer and MM9 is starforce protected and doesn't run under windows XP service pack 2, until I find another way to make it work :-(
When I play MM6 again in the future I'll probably pick a paladin, an archer, a druid and a sorcerer just to see how the other classes work :-)

?! But MM6 doesn't? That's odd, I think the engine is the same. Exactly what runs too fast?

Yeah, it's strange, but MM6 and 8 run normally, but 7 is too fast. For example when I gently press the side buttons to turn around a little bit, it does a full turn and so on. It's still possible to play but it's very annoying. Several months ago I did start an MM 7 game, I got to the point when I had to make a choice, and chose the dark side. So I entered the breeding zone, but everytime I ran into those behemoths they eliminate my heroes in less than 3 seconds. I tried the light side too, but it wasn't easy either...
Anyways I decided to start playing MM8 :-)

Change the turn rate in the controls menu, that really helps.

If it's only the turn rate then there should be no problem. If everything is running at a greater speed I don't know if there's anything you can do.

yup, that caused the problem. And it made me believe that the entire game was running too fast. :-)
Anyways, my MM8 game is going pretty well. I picked a Troll as a starting class, now my party of a Troll, Cleric, Dragon, Necromancer and Dark Elf (Cauri) is level 25-50 and I'm currently running the alliance quests.

I got a question. In Garrote Gorge I got 2 quests, to slay the dragons and to slay the dragon hunters. Later I allied with the dragons, but I still have the dragon extermination quest in my quest book. Should I slay those poor dragons, or that'll seriously hurt my reputation?
Also I completed the dragon hunter extermination quest and now all the shops in Garrote Gorge are closed to me. Is there a way to open them, or should I wait for the map to reset?
