If this is not crying then i dont know what is.
I do understand where your coming from too.
I read about the town & it seems it should of had variety like any typical heroes town.
Even Castle & Haven had angels & griffens.
I dont really care for a town that has mostly all dwarves in it.
Shoot I was excited when i heard the Chimera was in it but it turned out to be a false alarm.
Sometimes we have to deal with what we got.
You can buy it or not.
It's your choice but theres nothing we can do about it but accept it.
Multi player it would be worth getting.
Maybe you will grow on the new town.
Barbarian town, it seems is a must, more variety of creatures & thier still missing from heroes 5  .

I call this "my oppinion about the dwarf town"... saying what I like and what I don't like about it! I have the right to do that, and that's what oppinions are all about...
if your oppinion is something like "woow look , a new town... how cool ... and look at all those cute dwarfs...and those guys at ubi wooow , they are so nice , giving me this new expansion to play with!!!" , then write it here and let me write my own too, without calling it whining, just because I'm not as excited as you are about these Dwarfs!

You cant always like what you see.

What is bugging me is that in all their answers they revealed (almost)nothing.Just a rewording of what Fabrice has already said and still people thank for the info...At least we now know that:The editor will be released in the upcoming days(surprise! ),it will be improved after the add-on(through patches probably ),the balance changes is going to be listed from 1.3 on(not that I understand why it was not already done this way),patches and the add-on are being simultaneously created and that they aim to release it in christmas season.Oh well I suppose with the map editor we can endure this period!

I read one thing new: New Spells! Hopefully, that does not only refer to the Rune magic, but also an expansion in the current spell system.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.Unless mage guilds offers new spells too(say 4-5 lvl 1 etc) some factions will have a reduced chance to get a necessary spell(as raise dead with necros).If one more spell was offered in the guild randomly selected from either of the faction's favoured schools I would feel better.
eg at academy mage guild 1 has 4 spells->1 light,1 summoning,1 light/summoning,1 other.Especially if one more(5) was added so that 2 spells from other schools were available but I guess I ask too much.Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised

Don't expect too much, but I agree that a total reworking of the mage guild and spell system would be nice (my proposal from some time back was included in this as described in the third post).

I completly agree. I think I knew system is in order, Sylvan not having summoning is lame. I mean didn't phoenix originate in the elf castle from hereos 1, now they can't seem to remember how to summon those damn phoenixes...
I like the three school system that was suggested by you. Although I feel there may be even better ways to arrange it.

You sound childish yourself.It's far from ugly and it feels only logical even though many would rather have more variety in races(not just dwarves and yet another dragon) at the cost of credibility.It is well designed and has a different feel,abilities and magic so it should be good enough for us.You can't criticise something that has not been released in final form/you have not played.

omfg, just hear this:MAGMA dragon?!? it makes me laugh even now... maybe next is coming water dragon - made up only of water, or wind dragon - looking like a giant tornado with the head of a dragon O_o and giant dwarves?!? maybe release the town of the tiny giants o_O

I don't like the idea of dragons being in the same town as dwarves, but they have to do it because of the storyline and the elemental dragons, and at least this one doesn't look like a copy of the previous dragons. Giant dwarf? You don't even know what he is yet, how can you criticize it? Next you'll say that griffin doesn't belong in haven because it looks like a wild beast that shouldn't be aligned with humans.

Magma dracon is very ugly, and these dwarves too. Giant dwarves is not good idea.
Hof will give us 1 more foolish town...
