Yes, actionjacks idea isnt that bad at all, but increasing the defendig heros level only for the combat? Thats just... silly.
And has anyone got some spell ideas? I want to finish it today! The spell list topic will probably have the longest discussion of all my topics! The other ones will be quickly finished.

I like the disentegrate lv 5 chaos spell from homm iv. Maybe it should be a lv5 destructive spell(element fire).
Blizzard for a level 4 distructive spell(element water). It would have the effects of meteor shower but less damage compensated by reduction of initiative in creatures harmed by the spell.
And since no one gave my naga town a chance on the perfect naga town.....thread I'm going to post it again here.
Hero - Prophet
lv 1 Nyad - Siren (stun)
lv 2 Basilisk - Greater Basilisk (poison)
lv 3 Naga Archer - Naga Guard (ranged)
lv 4 Gorgon - Medusa (ranged, stonegaze, no melee penalty)
lv 5 Naga Witch - Naga Sorceress (caster)
lv 6 Naga Tidelord - Naga Warlord (wound, no retaliation)
lv 7 Sea Serpent - Sea Dragon(flyer, caster)
Note: The Sea Dragon is actually a blue coloured Faerie Dragon.
Same goes for my Stronghold.
Hero - Barbarian
lv 1 Goblin - Hobgoblin (stun)
lv 2 Orc Archer - Orc Sentinel (ranged, no melee penalty)
lv 3 Orc boar Rider - Orc boar Raider (enraged, berzerker)
lv 4 Ogre - Ogre Mage (caster)
lv 5 Paokai - Vicious Paokai (flyer, no retaliation)
lv 6 Orc Blademaster - Orc Warchief (infinite retaliation, clean cut - 20% chance to inflict triple damage)
lv 7 Cyclop - Cyclop King (ranged, no melee penalty,area damage)

Thanks, but I think Im not changing the spell list anymore, only adding spells that are missing. Disintegrate shouldnt be a fire spell, but earth (like unit turns into sand not melts or burns. And I will push it to lvl 4 instead of lvl 3) and blizzard is already in there.
And I really dont know why everyone sends HERE his ideas? This thread was supposed to be for my complete heroes 5 system, but I think it didnt actually work out properly... you see, we are stuck, because I havent finished my spell list yet and nobody else is here! I would be really glad if I had some society here that would help me clear some things. If someone is here, I would like to have the answer to the following question: Should I wait till I finish my spell list, or should I post here my next topic (about new features in H5) now and finish the spell list later?

I don't know what you should do. I only gave some ideas. disentegrate shouldn't be an earth spell. Implosion is already an earth spell with similar effects.

Very good watcher83 your ideas have........realism about them (like they work together), but this backfires simply because the units are the same.
Stronghlod has far to many Orcs, there should about three native troops (Orcs) and about three not native troops (Cyclops, Bethmoth(Homm3)).
Also how does a Gorgon turn into a medusa? They are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! 
But overall i think it semi-works i.e. neeeds improvement

In Greek mythology, Gorgon was the leader of the Medusas I believe.

ted, you didn't offend me. To answer your question about why so many orc units. This is how homm v is. One race has 3-6 units of that faction. I said gorgon-medusa...Fofa explained.(although I think the medusa was the meanest or something of the gorgon sisters- not really important). I'm waiting for suggestions.

sorry watcher83 my misstake after reading my faction document several times i am sorry for my post and that most faction dont abide by those rules. Either way your new faction was very good .

Actually Gorgon were three sisters who were cursed to be horribly deformed. Medusa is a specific gorgon and probably the most feared, although the other two where quiet deadly in their own right. (If I remember correctly) I have no idea where Hero's 3 got their idea of a Gorgon, but gorgons where sometimes described to be pigish looking with tusks, but still human like.

There is a version of Gorgon that looks like a boar. That is probably why gorgons in fantasy games are portrayed this way.
And Medusa is not the most feared gorgon. They are the only mortal gorgon, thus the only one that can be killed.
