and the camouflage ability, i dont see its point. why would someone use this ability on an archer??? dont get me wrong, the ability by itself would be great, but imo lizardmen shouldnt be archers. there already is a lvl 6 archer.

I've explained it before. When a melee unit stands next to the chameleon, the chameleon cannot use its shooter ability anymore. so if u want to use it again u will need to move away from the melee unit. trouble is, the melee unit is gonna follow you wherever you move, so you would have wasted a turn moving the chameleons in the first place. with camouflage, the chameleon goes invisible. this allows the chameleon to go to another spot without being detected and then use its shooter ability again.

that does make sense now actually. so it will automatically trigger in the beginning of lizardman's turn?

My original idea was not to have it as an automatic trigger. You click the activated ability button and the chameleon goes invisible. then you can move it around.

Well, thank God that's over. How come teacher no matter what level of education you are following ALWAYS cram 6 f*($ing exams in the week AFTER your vacation.
Anyway now that this is over, can somebody fill me in on the current issues ?

Exams suck. A system made by old dead people which doesn't apply to the real world no more. Anyways, new issues that need tissues:
1. Mini Master Post on page 20. Take a look and see if you agree and then add it to the main master post.
2. Vote for names of creatures and dwellings on page 18.
3. We need abilities for the Sorcerer hero for each skill.

To be honest I don't have much of a problem with this. Either you have lots of different stories of how each type of mix-creature came about, or you lump most of them together in one. Either way, it would seem a little odd - lots of the same seems lazy but every one different would be over-the-top (not that that's what you're implying).

houston, we have a problem...
i just looked at the line-up and currently theres not a single female naga. this is a serious problem. almost in every game, nagas mean female half-snakes.

Long time ago, lizardmen used to worship their own pagan deities. The ever-zealous Griffin Empire, however, saw that the pagan faith was a mockery of the dragon religion. Imperial armies sweeped the marshes, as the lizardmen were outnumbered and armed with corrosive darts, which caused some problems on the side of the Empire, but were uncapable of stopping the heavily armored hordes. When nagas proposed their alliance to lizardmen, they eagerly agreed. Shalassa has been in lizardmen pantheon ever since.

its fantasy, not history. in history they were male, but in history there were no lizardmen/dark elves/orcs.
i actually could imagine an archon as a female royal naga. with golden clothes.

Ok for the vote thing, I will only list things I don't agree on, or should be altered a bit. Everything that is not listed is agreed upon.
Creatures
6. Archon - Arcane Archon. (Both grand and supreme are to easy a choice. Arcane indicates their mastery of magic, which results in their Wrath ability)
7. Leviathan - Guardian Levaithan (Ancient is to easy a choice and Emperor indicates another species of Leviathan or a ruler Leviathan. Guardian refers to thier willing protection to the Lizardmen and the Naga)
Dwellings
2. Shore Dwellings - Concealed Huts (No reason in particular, this just sounds better to me)
6. Marble Acropolis - Porphyry Acropolis (Acropolis should be correctly named and we should upgrade the precious rock marble to the even more precious rock porphyry(which is kinda like a redish-purplish marble, but more rare and expensive(both Faraos and Roman Emperors were crowned on a throne of porphyry)))
7. Submerged Chapel - Submerged Temple (We shouldn't use lagoons, as lagoons are pieces of sea that are almost enclosed by land and we are trying not to use anything seaish. Submerged temples and chapels make more sense because the Leviathans were worshipped and brought sacrifices and where better to do that than in a chapel or Temple)
I think we should wait with making special abilities for Hydromancy, untill we have a decent idea of what Hydromancy does. We can't just make it another school of magic like in SBlisters original proposal. Remember each racial skill does only one thing ! Now I hear you asking "What About RuneMagic of the Dwarves, that's Racial Magic". Well that is not exactly, Rune Magic lets the Dwarven Heroes create Runes in the Runebiulding in the Town, Rune Magic is a different form of Artificer, which makes temporary enhancement things for your troops. It's not a new school of magic. Before we go any further, we should make a working and workable form of Hydromancy.

Well it still is a vote and everyone still has time to change their choices to what you suggested or be happy with what they have voted. In defense of the lagoon, my lagoon is more like the one in peter pan (yes the disney cartoon). It somehow looks nice. there could be a temple in the middle of the lagoon visually for the dark lagoon. but im sticking with my choice. And as far as leviathans go, I picked emperor leviathan from emperor penguins... emperor penguins are bigger than other penguins so likewise emperor leviathans are bigger than normal leviathans. yes they are different species in the same way that shadow dragons and black dragons are different species.

damn damn damn why didnt i think of this before
its a little late to suggest now, but an excellent tier 6 or 7 would have been the Faceless.
anyway. the last hero ability i proposed was a bit hasty&crappy, i know. i got a bit better and more unique one now.
Siege Lore:
Whenever any town under the player's control gets under siege, the Sorcerer with this ability will learn from that and gains experience equal to the experience he/she would gain if he/she had been defending the town.

these are from a game called Etherlords 2. it was developed by Nival.
so. i have a strong feeling theyll make h5 nagas rather similar.
