Great to see you two again Baklava and SBlister. As far as I am aware there is no conclusive proof for a new expansion or even a HoMM VI. I have resurected the thread to try to recreate the fun we had making the First version. But time has passed and formats have changed and now the First Temple does not fit the format anymore. Other then that the First Temple was based on several wrong assumptions and several features bear a striking resemblance to the current Stronghold.
I hope to hear more from you soon and I hope we will get an even better result then before.

I agree. Imagine your hero riding down the road through the grassy meadows, enjoying the scenery and the sunny weather, and then, suddenly, he sees something, lurking around the corner ... What is it? Is it a pack of wolves? No ... not furry enough - carefully approaching, he realizes: It's a pack of sharks, waiting in the shadow for a careless passerby to devour for lunch!
Nah, it doesn't really work, does it?  No sharks, no whales, and no krakens in armies. Add them as sea monsters if you really need to.

I'm kind of working on it, but getting a bit out of shape. :| I have tiers 1-2-3 and 7 done, but need to finish the rest. Hope to have it up soon(TM).

Just a small idea:
I was thinking the Level 7 creature can be something like Goro: large creature, four armed, strong, even the "hair" is in chinese style...
With that idea, I just wanted to give the basics how it can look like, because I'm against a dragon... (everything is beeing filled out with a dragon, if there aren't any more ideas)

Way to go on the sarcasm there Alc. And I must say that I agree with you. The way I see it, it's another side of the plausibility issue. They make sense as water-only neutrals, but nothing else. Adn even at that, you still can't fight sharks and whales on the deck of you're ship, they'd just be flopping and thrashing around.
As for Golemcrafter. The Goro is a realy good idea. However I see it as a possible tier 6. The Naga were the first mortal race chosen/created by the Dragongods. It would make less sense for them not to have a dragon. As for the "There-are-to-many-dragons-already" debate. I don't agree, period. The Dragons are the Gods and Demigods of Ashan, as long as a faction sides with one god or another it makes sense that they are aided by dragons. If you don't want a dragon, make a faction that doesn't worship dragon.
Still I will not oppose the Goro. It would make a great level 6, but I think we should rename it, so it will not refer to the Mortal Kombat Series and we should realy make them distinct from the Rashaka.
Lastly, what's taking you SBlister, I want to hear what you think of my Line-up. I am actualy keen on recieving some critism for a change; especialy since I am dishing it out so often.
Don't tell me I've managed to insult someone. If so I appologize, as this was not my intention. Don't be hesitant to post, this goes for everybody.

Besides, it's half and half. Only two have real dragons and the three that did first were the same that had them first in HIII.
