You take the .sav files to Documents/My Games/Heroes 5/Profiles/My profile/Replays and paste them there. Then you run the game and in the game menu - Options=>Replay=>Combat Replays
In some matches there are custom made arenas and wthout the mod you won't be able to play the replays. In that case either get the mod from here and put it in D:/Heroes5/UserMODs folder or download one of the Duel Maps from this thread and put in in the D:/Heroes5/Maps

Hi, I have veybad connection and cannot connect to playing online with TOE since I moved from EU to Singapore. Now I'm still playing TOE and using wippien software, anyone interested in joinning me for a standard game, such along time no play, map will be survival war.

Hi. I am new to this terrific game and I have a few questions.
1. In the demon town, after you have the sacrificial pit, how do you sacrifice creatures? I can navigate to the screen where it shows pictures of all the creatures currently in the town, but I cannot figure out how to select the creatures I wish to sacrifice. Right or left clicking on the creature or the sword icon below it does nothing. I can't drag and drop any creatures to any empty slots. What do I do?
2. I'd like to use a couple of the game cursors on my computer(I especially like the gauntlet with the finger pointing). Where can I find the cursor files?
3. When I have creatures in several different towns and I want to summon creatures from one particular town and not from another how do I do it?
4. Dragging and dropping creatures from one slot to another -- to merge 2 stacks for example -- sometimes has to be done over and over in order to finally work. Any tips?

1. click the big button on the lower left, in the middle of the round border with other buttons (after you build that structure)
2. Go where you installed H5 and open the "hwcursors" folder.
3. You can't, it chooses the nearest town always.
4. I don't get it

1. I know about the big button on the lower left, in the middle of the round border with other buttons after i have built that structure. The problem is that when the sacrifice window then pops up, I can't sacrifice any creatures.
2. That was easy. thx

4. To merge 2 stacks of identical creatures I ahve to drag and drop one on to the other. But it doesn't always work and I have to repeat it over and over.
5. Also how do you dismiss a creature from your hero's army? The dismiss button in the lower left of the screen seems to be greyed out.

4. You probably try it the wrong way. Notice that if you simply click the creature, it's picture attaches to your cursor and the upper left corner of the picture is a small arrow. Now that arrow works as the pointer. You need to click on the other creature's picture, not to overlap them.
5. I tried it right now and for me the dismiss button is only inactive if hero is in a towns garrison (upper row). There you simply can't dimis heroes, move them to the 2nd row.
I don't remember the sacrifical pit, sorry. But there must be some kind of info ingame. Try rightclicking on the buttons and leave your cursore pointing at them for the help window to show.

I got the sacrifice figured out--my hero needed to be in the town at the time the creature was sacrificed.

I just got HoF expansion today. In the third mission of the Haven (first) campaign, when I try to take over the main enemy town with Duncan in it, the game crashes for some reason as soon as my griffins get below 9 in numbers.
I tried removing the griffins, and still the game crashed (albeit much later on in the battle, when his ballista was attacking something (didn't have time to see what)
Is this a known bug or...?

i have problem with demons
i play the campaign atm
and each time a summoned stack gets killed my system crashes and goes into windows
thus making me very weak since i can't use the demons summon ability
i got win xp pro
msi-ms-7346
intel q6700 2,66 ghz(4cpu)
3072 mb ram
direct x 9.07
nvidia geforce 9800 gtx+
some help plz ^^
i already patched up too the latest homm5 version

I remember that was an issue that was fixed with patch 1.41.. Are you sure you have applied all patches? Last one was 1.6 I think.

Hello! About question 22, (Can I play the maps or campaigns from H5 original and HoF in Tribes of the East?), will this give me pretty much the same experience as if I played the campaigns in H5 and the first expansion? Basicaly, I'm looking to buy Heroes 5 and I want to play all the campaigns, will it be enough to buy just the Tribes of the East?

(Note: I uninstalled, reinstalled and again patched the game, and it didn't crash anymore)
A bit of the same question:
If I buy Tribes of the East, will it be possible to use alternative upgrades in the original HoMM V campaigns? (don't think so but hey)

It is possible to play the old campaigns in tote, there are mods/maps to enable them. Unfortunately I do not know if it's exactly the same as playing them in the previous games or if there is some problem or restrictions.
