Yes, they are. Which data.pak are you looking at?
With ToE, the file data/data.pak is 1.31Gb.
With H5, you have .pak files in data/ up to patch 1.4. Then patch 1.5 used datals/, and HoF uses dataa1/.
The data.pak file in the data directory of TotE. And yes, it's the 1.31 Gb file that I'm talking about . I admit though, that I didn't really unzip it; I just used Windows to open the .pak (renamed to .zip) to examine its contents. I'll see about unzipping it later today when I'm behind my computer at home again.

Quote: Rangers can get Cold Death now, which negates the Ranger's low spell power. With Triple Ballista, Imbue Ballista, and Cold Death, a Ranger hero could kill three level 7 creatures using a Ballista imbued with Ice Bolt.
The artifact set Rune Force doubles the effect of Elemental Vision so is that the same as Rage of the Elements? What happens when the Warlock has both Rune Force and Rage of the Elements? Does the Elemental Chain damage triple or quadruple?
It's kind of lame how so many heroes have access to Warlock's Luck. I wonder if Warlock's Luck can trigger with the Ranger's Imbue skills.
So far the best Ranger layout for me is:
Logistics-pathfinding;sil stalker;fam ground
Leadership-recruitment;battle commender;divine guideance
luck-soldiers luck;resourcefullness;elven luck
attack-tactics;battle frenzy;retribution
light magic-master of wrath;storm wind;refined mana
---> natures luck
Imbue balista and destruction magic seem nice, but I'd have to skip ultimate path or attack and leadership probably

who needs Cold Death when you can have a triple flaming ballista with Natural Luck . You'd still have to give up leadership though. But then again, there are many ways to get morale and the perks other than divine guidance aren't that great. And DG is fun, but you already have Mass Haste and morale artifacts to boost your troops.
Retribution is probably the biggest loss.

Yeah, I prefer to have retribution and divine guideance. I can always imbue arrows with some cusing spells and ranger has relatively low spellpower (not counting in bonus from high druids ofc).

Have you read Shadow Mistress description?
"Dark elves are, without exception, captivated by the beauty of the Shadow Mistresses, but few would ever risk any kind of liaison. They know that to do so can have fatal consequences, as these Priestesses are armed with fire whips, and they do not just use them in battle."

LOL! Good job pointing this out, Radar Wonder what about the Furies...
@DF: How'd you use whip to wash dishes? I mean "they do not just use them in battle" can be:
1. they=SM, them=whip
2. they=Dark Elves, them=SM
Just in case you were thinking the latter

after playing with new Haven units in custom game, here's my first feelings about the new renegades.
Brute: i would say much more useful than Conscripts. Bash is good skill but the two attacks that Assault give really helps, especially when creeping. big stack of Brutes hitting twice can be a real killer early game. and you can get Bash from Squires anyway.
Crossbowmen: really good creepers, just gotta protect them. but they really need bless. this unit is what haven really needed IMO.
Vindicator: the Cleave ability can be useful, i did clear over 200 leapers with little over 100 vindicators with this skill in one(well two ) blows. however 90% of the battles i did, i never got to attack with these guys, so i kinda felt that i wasted money all that time. and getting these guys for creeping is almost impossible, the ore costs are just too high. unless you focus solely on getting vindis fast, which isn't really good choice IMO.
Battle Griffin: Rush Dive didn't really impress me. the line is just so small that it never hits more than one unit(against human player that is), and also rush dive is really slow move, fastest units easily move out of the way. but if Haven feels the need for a sturdy tier 4 tank, then these Griffins definetly do their job WELL.
Zealots: proved to be much more useful than i thought. still crappy damage but the EXPERT LEVEL RIGHTEOUS MIGHT, is damn useful, especially if you try getting it during week 2 or 3. and cleansing is good to be there, you never know when you need it against dark users
Champions: damn good damage when blessed but i didn't get too many chances to use champion charge against computer :/ but against shooter heavy factions it might prove useful.
Seraphs: im in love <3 WTF IS WITH ADVANCED LEVEL RIGHTEOUS MIGHT. what a waste of mana. divine vengeance looked really promising. clearing a whole stack of succubuses with it was pretty awesome, it can be pretty good against shooters that do massive damage.
i also LOOOOOOOOOOVE their damage, i really do. SIX Seraphs of mine did 1800 damage with just advanced bless and expert righteous might. it wasn't even lucky strike. that was so amazing. expert bless+expert righteous might and your definetly looking at the most damaging tier7 unit there is. ill admit that in few places i did miss Archangels resurrections, but forgot that soon when i got resurrection from mage guild
overall i got very positive picture from the new units, only unit that kinda left me wishing for something better was vindicator, but they are ok enough too in the long run, atleast they got 3 attack skill in exchange for 1 defense skill. and with expert haste + windstrider boots they get to battle quickly enough
did anyone else notice btw that in the Haven town building screen, when you tap on the picture of upgraded angel altar, it says upgrades to Archangels and BLOOD ANGELS. even tho the units currently are Seraphs small error from Nival it seems.
and mark my words, i will never understand the purpose of giving tier7 unit advanced level righteous might when even Zealots got expert....
ohwell, off to test the Necropolis units.

Has anyone noticed that warlocks luck doesn´t work. Atleast not for Zeihir, the luck animation comes up but the damage is the same
That the estimadet damage calculation versus orcs is f###d up. It doesnt calculate the blood rage
That skellie archers and skellie warriors are great pals in early necro game. Buy a very small stack of warriors and take the rest with archers. And you will have a very good early protection against shooting creeps
That the game besides its small flaws is great fun

Yeah, that Skeleton trick is easy but nice.
I must say that FINALLY the AI flees in battles. I have waited so long for this! *three times hip hip hurrayh* It does get pretty tricky with necromancers if you try to save the Raise Dead's till end of battle - which I always do (did). Now when the troops start to diminish, the enemy might just retreat before you get to cast that precious Raise Dead... it has happened to me a few times. Well, at least there is more use for that Eternal Servitude now

Just that they somewhat overdid the fleeing. I can see that it's sometimes smart, but fleeing right at the beginning of battle when his army is rated "challenging"?
Or fleeing when the AI still has like 10 hydras and some other stuff and I'm left with 7 scouts and some summons?
