Exactly, we don't want race-confused humans.

Exactly, haven't you read any of the hero bios? Godric and Freyda are from the Unicorn Duchy. Isabel is from the Greyhound Duchy. Giovanni and Lucretia were from the Bull Duchy. Duncan is from the Stag Duchy. Nicolai is from the Griffin Duchy. They're all named after animals. The surname of the Griffin Empire's ruler isn't going to change the fact that Griffins live there. If it were reborn by someone from the Greyhound Duchy we wouldn't expect to see greyhounds fighting in their ranks, would we?

You don't have to tell me that But they could keep the name out of respect (or not starting to name their duchies after sylvan animals )

I did but I have a much better comprehension from your single post here

I think it's really exagerated to still call it an (unicorn) empire.
Let's have a look at Isabel's less than a year-regency. The first thing she does after the beating they got from the demon invasion, is an alliance with Markal, which drags them into a war with the elves and Silver Cities. After Markal raises her dead husband as a vampire, she gets a mental breakdown (what was she expecting a necromancer would do? lol). Zehir, Findan & Raelag got pissed, kill Markal and kick alot of Haven ass on their way to Isabel. She gets kidnapped and screws up even more giving birth to the dark messiah. After getting freed she ignores all the mess she caused in the Griffin Empire and goes on vacation with Raelag After a couple of month she is surprised that the Griffin Empire is collapsing and fighting a civil war, and somebody claims to be Isabel. Griffin Empire gets a beating by Arantir and a horde of smelly orcs (who sack like half a dozen cities). Again Zehir (with a little help) has to save the day, squashes Biara's army. Then Isabel get's her 10 seconds of fame and kills Biara (somebody should tell her that it's called empowered Implosion, not undersized ). In all her generosity she steps down and leaves the throne to Freyda and Pony-Duncan. Isabel better gets the hell out of the Griffin Empire before the population finds out that she was responsible for all the mess Good luck with your "empire" Freyda (Duncan as emperor? nah, he is more like a pet), but at least it can't get any worse
BTW the orcs are hyprocrites they claim to fight with honor and for their children and not killing civilians, but then sack and burn down whole cities.

No, they are just taking revenge for years of slavery. The Greeks also did terrible things when they drove back the Turks while it was to gain their freedom initially.. Some things you just can't help.

No problem with that, as long as they admit it
And the orcs don't do that.

Oh really. They burned some towns in the first campaign 3rd mission as retribution, gained their freedom again and even sided with the humans to drive back the demons. They did not display a monstrous nature and were actually reasonable in their actions.

They did atmid it didn't they? Here is a quote from what Gotai says when he burns a Town:
"This town must be burned to the ground. The wound must be deep and take time to heal. It will be a memory for men, that Orcs are a people and not to be treated like dogs."

IIRC they sided with Arantir. The first time they met Freyda or Isabel was in the cutscene at the end
Their actions are inconsistent for me. The Red Griffin Empire enslaves some of them, they attack them, but always saying it's to free their brothers only and honor and blabla. Then they just sack a whole duchy, not even bothering why they (blue&red) are fighting eachother. Then they go kill some mages (wtf? why? and why is kunyak buried in a silver city when he freed the orcs from there?). Then they go to kill more demons in Talonguard, met the Blue Griffin Empire and bang, they are friends before they even met and know whats going on.

Look, there is no inconsistency except perhaps with Kunyak's bones. Sometimes you just want to hurt someone even if you have different ideals, have you never felt hatred? The wizard mission is of course symbolic and makes perfect sense. The orcs' goals were plain from the start, kill demons and free themselves but also take revenge against Alaric. The knights were a means to the former goal and they did kill Alaric that was a knight. You also probably noted Gotai's respect for Zehir when he learnt that he had faced the Sovereign. THAT is honor, respecting your enemy. And they probably did respect Freyda and Duncan for helping them but you could not expect them to be friendly from the beginning after centuries of slavery.
