Oh. The video on the walkthrough only shows the Xana ending, I didn't know she died and got liched. Sorry.
Anyone played through the Tieru mission yet? Is it any good?

You can still kill her after rescuing her you know. Which was annoying because in tough battles I had done that accidentally. Sareth would then say 'You will not use me!'

I'll say this: They created an intersting storyline, but it got covered in a flood of blood.

The Tieru mission tells the story of his early life. Right after the burning of the capitol, where he kills a bunch of Dark Elves and learns that actually the demons were behind the tragedy. And at the end he swears that he will hunt down the demons till the death of the dragon gods, and it's noted that the mission was actually a story Tieru tells Raelag.

Funnily enough they had an unused portrait for Tieru in the original Heroes V, but they forgot about / ignored it and created a different one for TotE.
On a relatively unrelated note, the part in the lore about Tieru retreiving King Alexei's soul from the Demons reminds me of Heroes Chronicles: Conquest of the Underworld.

Nothing that has not been done before. just check The Generic Epic Storyline Cliché Formula!
Let's go for the count, yes all of the usual cliches are there.
Our story begins ages and ages ago, when a great evil (probably Dark Lord) plagued the land named: The Demon Sovereign.
But the Dark Lord was defeated by: Sar-Elam, the Seventh Dragon.
But today, like a gazillion years later, our Dark Lord has arisen once again: As a red and black armored Sauron rip-off.
The only hope against the Dark Lord is: A simple generic dude named Sareth.
Who is out to avenge (or at least is motivated by): The burning of the free city of Stonehelm and killing of Leanna's uncle, Menelag.
Along the way, our hero is guided by a wise (perhaps omniscient) being: Master Phenrig and the demoness Xana.
Who reveals that, in order to defeat the Dark Lord, the hero needs: A magic skull called the Skull of Shadows.
On the course of the journey, it turns out our hero is actually: The Dark Messiah, son of the Demon Lord.
And Somebody turns out to be evil or a traitor: Master Phenrig and Xana (although Xana is still very helpful, so I don't consider her too bad)
Now take a look at this expansive list that all these other games have used and tell me what on earth is new and interesting about it.

"Sareth I am your father!"  I don't remember having heard these specific words but I'd love that, it would have me laughing for days

As I said earlier I enjoyed the game, I just can't praise some things
Thinking about the ToE storyline again I remembered that Ylaya only appears once and then she fights for you without even having an idea of what skill she has  It would just be better to have her help you in Zehir's first mission. Btw what happens if you have the assassins join and you don't kill them?

I was hoping for the end of that scenario for her to say something like:
"I trust the assasasins I sent served well?" or something, and Zehir would look stupid. lol.

Well, from the point of view of a Necromancer (especially those devoted to Asha), that's not really an evil act, just a nessesary sacrifice.

Hmm... The DM story might not be a new one but with the whole gameplay and the way you play the game! It freaking rocks! I love that game

Only game ive replayed every level 5 times in. Thats about 45 hours of gameplay overall considering the first time and one time on hard and one time for finding secrets.And i may replay it yet again

I guess he means Dark Messiah. There's far more than 45 hours to be had in playing TotE's campaigns five times over.
