Oh man. I have a damn flu myself but at least I won't be having any tests yet for it to affect my performance. As for the broken finger.. Anyway you'll leave the place as a hardened warrior! (Maybe)
Edit: What do you mean swimming in snow for 8 hours?  Are you in special forces or something?

Just annoying since now I'll have to be extra carefull with them henceworth. When they've frozen once they get a bad habit of doing it again.
We also had a first forest night. Man I had good laughs at that trip. We have a guy in our group who fell 7 times when skiing. 
Only one other besides me could skii well with 30 kilos on his back and a kalashnikov at his hands. Downhills were nice. I carried our tent so I had 40 kilos of weight and quite the speed.

And my left hand finger's froze at friday. Black friday as it's called. 8 hours of battle training. They didn't let us use good gloves. We had to use the official suit gloves. 
-20 celcious, thin leather gloves, swimming in snow for 8 hours with a cold Kalashnikov in your hands is a great combination.
it's nothing.some of the elite unite in israel are guarding in winter without coats. and gloves? its unheard of

Learning to crawl again, max payne jumps, etc. literally swimming in snow for 8 hours.
Rangers, commando and reconnoissance company, specialiced in intelligence and fire-leading far behind(150 km) enemy lines. If crisis emerges we'll be doing intelligence behind enemy lines and also authorised to call in MLRS strikes that level anything and everything in a 400x400 meters area. in some cases we might get some commando missions but those are mostly left for special rangers. They're the dagger and we're the cloak.
After paratroopers, special rangers and diver's were the hardest unit in Finland. So yeah, special forces. 
Our training includes such nice things as military police(dogs included) chasing us, swimming over a few hundred meters wide canal in winter, a week long forest camp where we get to sleep 5 hours and only get food for one day, walking 100 kilometers in two days in full gear(around 30-40 kilos) and other lovely activities.
BTW. we also have to learn to regognise every god damn war machine there is. Lovely list just for russian ware.
EDIT: Well Israel winter's are a little different than finnish ones. Yesterday was -31.

And in a few years ill have to do it all again

Yeah, I have served, in the army.I would have wanted to serve in the Air force but my fitness was not good enough

A lot of my friends are going in the Army for a year. Sucks cos I probably won't get to see or hear from them in a while. Although, I heard the money was quite good.
