Yeah.. That and a few others can decide the battle if you cannot cleanse and I hope that next time it will be better balanced. As it is you NEED light to counter them.

summoning my favorite, though this seems to have turned into which is best and not favorites? lol
dark is definatly most annoying to deal with. someone said no matter how strong opponent is, with expert dark you have chance to win? thats funny
and also phoenix cant change a battle? again, funny

Well I have seen a wizard kill a whole army with dark after he was left with only one stack. And the opponent had like 6 stacks.
Yes the phoenix CAN win a battle. For early there's no contest, later you must pay attention when you summon it to avoid an instant kill and have weakened the main damage dealing units.

The phoenix is not useless, but if you need to "have weakened the main damage dealing units" before it means that the phoenix alone is not enough to change the outcome of a battle (something that can be done with Dark magic spells).

In lategame no, did you expect the spell to be outrageously good during the whole game?

Not in the early game either since you won't get the conjure phoenix spell that early.
Dark is good even without taking into account high level spells... Mass Confusion, Mass Slow and that's it.

I can get phoenix by week 2, is that early enough? Note that I will not go for guild 5 unless I want to rush and not all maps have mines with at least one pile of resources near you but it is possible. Chance to get it is 50% which is not bad at all.

Phoenix can be very good even in middle game, but summon elementals is just a joke 
Arcane Armor is waaay much weaker than Light buffs (because they are mass and lose only 50% initiative), even if it had a lousy +2 spellpower or something from an ability.
Overall summoning is weakest, but cool.
I voted Dark because of the following 7 reasons:
1) it's strong
2) it's strong
3) it's strong
4) it has Puppet Master
5) it has Mass slow
6) it's strong
7) we have cookies

Light Magic rullz.It has probably the most powerful spell of them all:The Ressurection.Indeed a high level hero using Dark Magic could make ravages on the battlefield but it goes the same about Light Magic even if it doesn't have attacking spells.It's the only tipe of magic I use.

Resurrection is not that good. First it reduces the units' max hp per time cast and it can be rendered obsolete by covering the dead stack. usually the amount you raise is not close to the damage an opponent can do to you, especially in lategame.

Well I fought one hero wich at a lowly level 14 or 15 was able to ressurect 5 Wraths and some another time I fought some Archangels wich ressurected a colosal 20 Emerald Dragons.I know no spell wich could kill so many.The ressurection sound like a very powerful spell to me.

Wraiths are raised by raise dead and the latter is a case of unit resurrection which is a totally different case.

How come?The Archangel's ressurection is the same as the spell wich can be learned by a hero.

Easy to gather many archangels, harder to do that with spellpower unless with a wizard that can purchase artifacts no matter what.
