Poll Question:
Heroes VI?
Hi guys now that like all the Heroes V expansions have come out, how's the debate about Heroes VI? Should it come out? Who do you think will create it? What features will there be?
I have a LOT of great ideas. I've made up all the stuff below, a trailer and even a CD cover!!
CD cover: A bit like a decagon, with lines stretching from the corners to the center, dividing it into segments. Each segment has it's own faction with a logo (f. ex. hammer for Fortress, wings and angel sword for Haven, etc.), and the top and botton segments are Haven and Inferno. In the center is a circle with the Blood Moon logo (a drop of blood, eclipsed by a half-moon)
Story: Haven and Inferno were fighting the eternal battle between good and evil. However, doesn't it make sense that Good and Evil are equally strong, that they cancel each other out? Well, that's what happened. No one won, but Haven and Inferno accidentally created a new faction, the Blood Moon.
New factions: (note that the old ones are all kept, but could be named
differently) Blood Moon (kind of like Renegade Haven), Dracon (dragon town), Marsh (swamp)
Now comes the poll. Do you think that Heroes VI should even come out?
P.S.: I do hope I get a QP for this.

Ubisoft will very probably have something to do with it
[off-topic]You will probaly not get a QP. if you ask for them, you will never get them. To get them you must do the work yourself. It's never(almost)happened that anyone get a QP for making a thread only(expect it's much work, etc.) Elvin got that on "Tribes of the East: Announced", but he updated it and that was good info[/off-topic]

lol, no offense here, but I think asking for a QP or suggesting that your post is worth a QP, is the worst thing to do. That will definately not get you a QP.

I am seriously getting
1. Sad, becasue I seem to have messed up my whole thread by this little thing
2. Pissed, because that's all people talk about on this tread, which is rapidly urning into a kind of Wastelands thread
3. Annoyed, because people CAN'T CONTROL THEMSELVES!!
4. Disparaging, because I'm new, I only joined 5 days ago and I'm trying to do some good here on the forum.
5. And the worst part is, I can't edit the TEXT because HC thinks I'm editing the POLL!! WTF?!
If you guys don't start talking about Heroes VI now I'll quit HC, not kiddding, cuz this is driving me nuts.

So you want some opinions on the actual subject?
Okay then..... Well if Heroes IV does actually come out, it better be good. I wouldn't mind seeing it go back to Heroes 3 kinda style, because I think many of the older fans would actually like that.
I don't think they should focus much on the graphics as such, more on the gameplay.
I think they made the graphics a bit too high with Heroes V, and if they had focused more on the gameplay, then maybe more people would have played the game, but that isn't a main issue.

Yep, I agree. Gameplay HAS to get a bit better. If every HoMM player in the world sent a message to Ubisoft and told them what they liked and disliked about all the HoMM games then needless to say Ubisoft could make a fantastic game out of that.
Graphics could stay the same level or even go down to somewhere in the middle of HoMMs 4 and 5. 4 had great graphics too.

lol, if every homm player in the world sent a message to ubisoft telling them what they liked and disliked, I am pretty sure that it would take a very long time to read all of them and plus it would be hell for the people who have to read all the stuff
It would be good if gameplay was better, because in every game, you must admit, that the gameplay could be a little better. There is not one game yet which has perfect gameplay, so there is always time for improvement.
Graphics, well you do not need the best graphics to have the best game.
I agree with you that Homm4 graphics are alright.
I heard that the gameplay for it was bad, or did I hear wrong?

Agrees with Alc.
I like your proposal. Its not the way I would have gone, but it has merit. Would other factions combine too?
Eg:
Marsh is Naga+Elf
BloodMoon is Haven+Inferno
Fort = Orc + Dwarf
Mine = Necro + Dark Elf
etc?

The idea about the bood moon is a bit funny but I'd probably like a draconian town.

Well, enough of that, and allow me to say your proposal has potential. Sounds like a...unique approach to the Heroes VI mass debate. However, if you don't mind me saying, didn't heroes v just get done with the Haven/Inferno war? Blood Moon sounds nice though.

I would like a Flying/csating oriented faction as well and dragons are as good as anything. I personally hope for a faction that has 6 rather weak early tiers, but can build a building that lets them choose any dragon they want for a seventh. Personally cheering for a casting depth dragon or something.

I have to say though, if Heroes 6 does come out, its going to be hard to top some of the textures. I mean most of the creatures look absolutely beautiful in my opinion (Archangels). Still, there is a lot of room for improvement in other areas.

i like the homm 5 textures.
i start to feel depressed when i think of homm 3
good ideas but the graphics don't hit the par of enjoyable.
