And I quite like tactics with small armies - but not like in WC3 where everything goes so fast and the units don't even have an Auto-Casting option (on/off)... sometimes I'm not fast enough to use them all properly.

LOL! Units do have auto cast option in WC3. 
Not for all of their abilities though.

Not all - very few spells can be in auto-casting mode. I just don't get it why it's not available, since the AI already uses all spells
@Death: You're missing the point. Ninjas - 'dirty' and sneaky tactics (like Hit'n'Run), which you don't like.

The explanation is simple, skills such as raider's ensnare NEED you to cast them manually or they are useless.
For example repeatedly ensnaring the enemy hero (it wears off after 2 seconds on heroes). Autocast is a fail option here.
Also, better players never use autocast, they even cast slow (sorceresses' spell) by themselves.

Yeah the no lifers don't need autocast but casual players like I do.
