Was I missed much? 
I didn't log in yesterday because I was at my cousin's house, playing Wii. 
Anyways, to answer your question about number of usable Pokémon...*goes off to check*
Everyone but Stacey (AlkarRahn) is using two...so, I'll allow two (just so you guys don't have to edit).
It's not like it's going to do any good... 
I'm doing some homework now...
If I have time to update later, I will. If I don't, you know the reasons.

I love that theme!
It reminds me that you have to fight Palkia/Dialga (depends on your game version) right after you beat him the second time. I had to heal up with items before that battle.

Edit: Getting back to town/to the Pokemon Center is going to be fuuun. Fate's unconscious, Zorpaleus is unconscious, Mina's running on adrenaline and I do believe Dove's worse off then she is...oh yeah, this is going to be fun.

Yeah...and you're all going to have a blast with what Dove is about to suggest...but you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Of course, it's suicidal, because of any of the following reasons:

Quick summery:
--Altros sent out his Charizard and Saha's Raichu showed up.
--We fought them for bit then Raichu knocked out Charizard and fell into a Shadow Rage. It healed her, but she'll faint when she comes out of it.
--We started stalling Shadow Raichu waiting for her Shadow Gauge to run down.
--A dimensional rift thingy started to open. Meanwhile, Altros went to blow up the backup generators--I'm still not sure why.
--Dove suggested jumping through the portal thingy
--Dove's Bayleef restrained Altros
--Elder Aquai called on the Pokedex and said some guy named 'Dream' is coming, and this makes Dove happy.
Also, somewhere in there Fate fainted.
Currently, we're stalling until this 'Dream' guy shows up, or Shadow Raichu runs out of gauge and faints.

Nope...and I wager there won't be for a while, especially if you guys decide to participate in the Rental Tournament or otherwise stay in town to trade and breed and stuff.
And, I apologize for not being able to update today. I should be able to have the village map tomorrow.

On a related note, I'll tell you what they're for in the recent videogames:
R/S/E : A man is collecting colored Shards. Take a Shard of a certain color to him to get a Stone of that color in return.
D/P: A woman is collecting colored Shards. Take 10 Shards of a certain color to get a "weather" TM.
Off the top of my head:
10 Blue = Rain Dance
10 Red = Sunny Day
10 Green = Hail
10 Yellow = Sandstorm
