On the plus side, Magnitude (and Self-Destruct, for that matter) hits allied Pokemon as well as enemy. 
Oh, and your Gastly is immune to Magnitude (gotta love Levitate  ).

Since winter's lazy little self refuses to update and I'm bored, here's a closer look at what Brona's Growlithe is infected with—
Scarlet Froth
25% chance spread on contact. Incubation 24-36 hours (1-1 ˝ days). Lasts 36-72 hours (1 ˝-3 days).
Symptoms:
Erratic behavior, foaming mouth and bloodshot eyes, high temperature.
Effects:
Attack boosted by 35%.
Defense, Special Defense reduced by 25% each, Hit Points reduced by 35%.
25% chance Pokemon will become distracted during battle. Ghost types are immune.

Oh, you mean the one extra hit comment. Mytical, I wasn't actually referring to you; I was throwing the suggestion out for Alkar. Couple reasons:
--It didn't escape my notice that Ditto only has one offensive move that would super-effective hit the Graveler (Magnitude) which for obvious reasons would be a bad thing to use. Ditto (pun lol) for Self Destruct, though that would do half.
--Oodramer gets ~50 points of damage on those suckers per hit. Sandshrew got 7 damage on her last hit, and I’m assuming Pidgey could score at least as much damage on Graveler as he did on the Wispafeyrn. They only have 70 HP. That means the Graveler will have about ~3-5 HP left after my Pokemon get through with him. Throwing your heavy-hitter at 3-5 HP would be a waste. Whereas Alkar’s Grimer knows Mud Slap, which although she doesn’t get STAB for it is still a super-effective hit, and thus would work nicely.
--Rock Throw has a miss chance.
Please give me some credit I did think this out.

Lol so did I.  . My thought process was pretty much the same as yours. While Rock Throw does have a chance to miss, the other options just were not very..tempting. Next round should hold a suprise, however. ((IF we make it to next round))
