No that is ok, but she would have a different version of an ambush, one I think would REALLY be rough on Bandra (spelling?)

Who's WF?
Also I'm still in the process of reading the entire RPG, but mina told me some stuff about Christian, but I haven't got to that point yet. I'd appreciate if someone could give a quick sum up of what it exactly contained

WF = WinterFate, the original GM.
Christian meet the rest of the group in some town. There he was on the look out for the pair of NPCs who's name I have long forgotten. Mina, being the paranoid snow she is, did not trust Christian at first. We would later face each other in the semi-final(or final?) of the local pokémon tournament where she won(barely!).
After that I said something that made the group as a whole trust me, but we did not get time to stick around for a long time, as Brandra attacked the city and we had to escape into the spectral dimension. Inside there, we fought the dark overlord, meet the evil big bad bird and Christian got sucked through a hole in space. The group thought that he was dead, but when they got out of the spectral dimension Christian sent them a message. Since then we have only been e-mail buddies. And Mina still don't trust him

Thanks! Btw. don't worry about that, I don't think mina trusts anyone to be honest.
Anyway, I'll try to have a reply up later today. Now I'm going to watch some WCL
Edit: Seems like I won't be able to post for another ~5 hours anyway, I'll update by then.

Gnome, remind me to have your Snorunt Icy Wind you the minute you walk outside. It’s NOT. THAT. COLD OUT.
For the rest it’s going to take me a little while to untangle all the things I need to update.

Those were winter’s DMPCs, Dove and Fate. I ‘retired’ them back to Siltis for now.

Got it in one! Although in Christian’s case, it doesn’t help that he fell asleep prior to their final’s match AND when he was attacking Ternai Town with Bandra, and used his Scyther both times.
And ohforf, I hate to break it to you, but with Bandra crawling all over those mountains for the last ~2 days or so, you aren’t going to be finding any wild Pokemon in the vicinity. They have the sense to keep their heads down.

For about 2 more hours... I hate the mountains. At about 9:00 God turns off the heat, like in the desert only, less 150 degrees F to 36 degrees F and more 99 degrees F to sub-zero. (These are accurate measurements from my time in the mountains, where I stayed for 14 days in the middle of summer in the dry season... in a 10 degree F proof sleeping bag that DIDN'T keep out the COLD.
Though this does not seem to be real life... At least gravity works the same... I hope.
My point seems moot anyway since you guys are apparently not staying in the mountains, but...

And where were these mountains of yours? Temperature is dependant on multiple factors, including elevation but also proximity to major water bodies, relationship to major currents (water has a high specific heat, thus currents from a warm area will make a colder area warmer, and vice-versa) how direct the sun's rays are (we're in the tropics here in Helnith ergo very direct sun) and a load of other factors.*
Moreover I'm using a real-life basis: say hello to Pico Duart. Expected temperature for tonight, February 8th, 2011 at 4,922 feet is 57 degrees Fahrenheit (which is, let's see...13.8 degrees Celsius?), and being in the Northern Hemisphere this is winter time for Pico Duart. It isn't hot, certainly, but no one's in danger of frostbite.
*Including three more, this being the Pokemon world. Their names are Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Salerdia may or may not also factor in.

That's completely okay. I thought so as well to a certain degree, but I thought better safe than sorry. Anyway, I'm not too certain about how the pokedex works, but I recall when searching for slakoth/sphael that the dex suggested that I should go halfway across the region. In that sense, I kind of hoped that it'd give Zack the idea of where to go next and how close each of these pokemons were, just to be prepared in the future if he's in the right area.
Edit: A kind of "heads up" I suppose.
Edit#2: Thank you!

Do you call that a mountain!? I'm around ~6,000 feet myself and I'd not think of myself as a mountain, it's more like we're slightly elevated from the ground!
Also, what's up with using so many cifers, why not just 4,9 feet?

There's a big difference between 4,9 feet and 10^4 feet.
I am more used to the metric system and I believe 6 feet is about 1.8 m, in that regard I'd approximate 4,9 feet to 1,5 m. and 10^4 feet to 3000 m.
Edit: Quite a lot of update while I was asleep, I'll have post up in a moment

[unsolicited lecture] The way I've got it set up is that when you scan a Pokemon the Pokedex uploads the data onto the Wireless Pokemon Network. (This applies to all trainers and not just us obviously.) That takes all the scans and adds them up into a sort of informal census count, which the system then keeps track of and regurgitates on request.
There's also a population threshold it has to reach in order to regurgitate the data; if there aren't at least a certain number of individuals of a species scanned in a certain time frame, it won't show up in the Pokedex database. This is for conservation reasons as well as accuracy. If a Pokemon—I’ll use Lapras as an example—gets to be so rare it doesn’t reach that threshold anymore, keeping the info about its location from getting sent out helps prevent more individuals from being removed from the population, and hopefully allows the population to grow back to a sustainable size as a result. On the flip side, if a trainer releases a Pokemon into a habitat it’s not native to, that Pokemon won’t show up on the ‘dex and get out-of-town trainers swarming the area looking for more of its species when there’s only one there. (This is my in-game justification to throw whatever I want at you whenever I feel like it. )
tl;dr version: You won't be able to track down, say, Suicune with your 'dex like you could in the games. Also, that feature won't work in the Spectral Dimension—no satellites to uplink to, and no trainers to scan.
Quote: Do you call that a mountain!? I'm around ~6,000 feet myself and I'd not think of myself as a mountain, it's more like we're slightly elevated from the ground!]
Check the link, that's not the top; the top is something like 10,000 feet. (Of Pico Duart; the Shatterhigh mountains are somewhere around 10,000-15,000 at the highest peaks, I haven't decided yet. ) I used that elevation because it seemed like a reasonable altitude for most of the paths and the road to be at or below. We aren't interested in climbing the things, just getting through them.

Hey that's cool! Anyway, I've thought that we'd only need one of each kind and those interested in some special type could "always - (or at least when occasionally have the opportunity)" get it breed with dubba then (who's going to be some kind of playboy prince I suppose).
Edit: That doesn't take into account for those you can't breed and for those where you want certain breeding moves of course, but anyway, I think it's cool.
