Ah, anything works, it just changes how I disable the guy. But I was thinking that, since Zelg came from the front-side of the grunt, he would have the guy pressed against the ground w/ the knife at his throat and Zelgius's hand choking him.

Haunter EV into speed until it is maxed.
Just curious, if I trade my haunter back and forth with someone so that it evolves .. will it then disobey just like in the games or still be nice and stuff?

I have no clue about happiness whatsoever, except that it is in charge of return and frustration ... does it mean that it will go to sleep instead of attacking?

Don't blame you there. 
He probably won't hate you, no. Happiness also determines a few other things; some Pokemon for example only evolve if their Happiness is high (Pichu, Riolu, Golbat...).
