"Of course!" Nurse Joy takes your Pokemon from you and runs them through the machine.

The Nurse hands them back to you, good as new.
"Also, my pokedex has been stolen by Bandra, and I am wondering where I might get a replacement?"
The Nurse nods seriously. "You aren't the first one to have that happen I'm afraid. But I can do that right here; why don't you have a seat?"
Nurse Joy asks you a number of questions (when was it stolen, what is your trainer number, various background questions establishing who you are), entering your responses into her computer. The whole process takes about an hour. Finally, she says, "There you go! Your new Pokedex has been ordered. It will be here ((Roll = 1)) tomorrow." Just as you make to leave, she perks up again. "Oh! And before I forget! I asked around, and it seems some of your Starlight Squad friends are gathering in Ceris Town."

"Injured?"
"Er... yeah? You know, we were just in a battle? Our pokemon got beat up and need healing?" Mark offered helpfully, getting the feeling that Mina had misinterpreted him somehow.
"All right."
Mark took her two pokeballs, holding one in each hand as he started towards the pokemon center. "I'll see you soon! Try to get good seats for us!"
In the pokemon center, Mark walked over to the counter, setting down Mina's balls on the counter before pulling out Lapras's. "I am getting them healed up for a friend." He told nurse Joy, just in case she thought something was fishy about him having two extra pokemon.

Stacey recalled Luxio, and went for another pokeball. She almost took hold of Helen's, but remembered the shadow was currently affecting her. Next, she moved her hand to Peirce's. He would be a great choice, but she finally decided to go with Maxie. The battle might help them get along a bit more. She just had to hope that Maxie would listen to her. She took hold of the ball, sending Maxie out.
"Okay, Maxie, use safeguard!"

On your way to the Pokemon Center, you hear a whisper from a nearby alleyway.
"Hey! Hey kid!"
You get a glimpse of a shady figure—literally shady, as he(?) is standing in the shadow cast by a nearby dumpster—hunched over in the alley, wearing a form-concealing cloak. The figure pulls a little closer when he sees that you see him, but not enough to get a good view of his face.
"Looking to sell?" His grin is wide enough that you can see it in spite of the bad view of his face, and you notice a tooth is missing.

Mark held Mina's pokeballs closer to himself, and carefully took a few steps away from the man. "N-no... I'm not." Whatever this man wanted, he gave Mark the chills. The young trainer wanted nothing to do with him.

He picked up a pen and a piece of paper, on which he wrote Want a Mankey? I've got one level 19 Mankey I am interested in trading, and will stay in town for a full day if anyone is interested. Ask Nurse Joy about Brona, I will stay near the Pokecenter.
He then proceeded to put it up on the bulletin-board.

The nurse gives you a very intense look, but does take the balls of the injured Pokemon and heals them for you.

"Female, huh?" Christian mumbled as he looked over the stats of his new teammate. "I guess I'll call you Jessie, then!" and just as he said it, the ball vanished in a beam of light. "Right. Duke and Masamune is down and I want to get Jessie out of the PC and into the team as quickly as possible. Come on, Verret!" Christian said and started walking back the way out of the cave.

An hour or so of sitting in the Center passes before you spot your first possible opponent; an enthusiastic little boy who seems hardly old enough to be a trainer. He chatters happily to Nurse Joy while she runs his Pokemon—both of them—through the machine.
((And you're right near the Center so I'm just going to give you the first few encounters at once. Let me know who you want to approach for a battle; if you want more than one we can do them one after the other or all at once, up to you which.))
Some time later an older trainer in his mid-teens comes in to get his Pokemon checked on. He has two pairs of Pokeballs, one set on either side of his belt, and an intense expression on his face.
Maybe an hour later a burly man dressed in work clothes comes in. He is trailed by an even burlier Machoke, which is clutching one arm; that seems to be his only Pokemon, as you only see the one ball.

Mina:
Mina made her way to the Contest Hall as quickly as she could without actually running. Ordinarily, Mina wasn't one for Contests—too many Pokemon looked like their trainers had gotten the nearest closet to vomit all over them, they were covered in so much fluff and junk. But for the sake of being social she didn't mind, and minded even less when the alternative was putting her foot in her mouth some more.
The interior was crowded, but not packed like Mina expected; the noise seemed to come from the excitement of the people within rather than sheer numbers. She wondered how far along the Contest was; it was obvious they'd missed at least the first part.
Mina looked around for seats, privately musing over the thought that Mark had said she was commanding. Was she? She didn't feel commanding...commanding was for people who knew what they were doing. But part of her was pleased; it was nice to know that at least she didn't act as helpless as she felt...
She crept along the outside edge, trying to see how close to the front she could get and still find seats. There were a number of posters decorating the walls, most of various Coordinators or upcoming Contests in different towns, but one of the more unusual advertisements did catch her eye:

It's not exactly free if you have to pay for the class, is it?
But Mina made note of it anyway; with Ternai Town lost, 'her' Berry patches were out of reach and the cost of the class would be more than made up in the cost of Potions she'd save once she had a steady supply of Oran Berries. And a supply she could take with her!
...wait, is that Lijan? She'd noticed the Starlight Squad's absence in Rieva during her very very awkward dinner with Mark. Apparently they'd come here.
Mina slipped through the isle as unobtrusively as she could and tapped the Starlight Squad lieutenant on the shoulder. He turned to see who it was and Mina felt a jolt of surprise: he looked better than he had in...actually he looked better than Mina could ever remember seeing him. He still had bandages around his head, but the faraway look in his eyes wasn't as far away as usual, and he seemed surprisingly alert.
"Are these seats taken?" Mina asked, remembering herself just as she was on the verge of staring. She gestured to a couple chairs left unoccupied near Lijan.
"They are, but they went on sentry duty and probably won't be back before the end of the Contest, so you can have them if you like."
Mina tentatively took a seat, and looked around for Mark. Not seeing him immediately she tried watching the Contest; the Pokemon weren't as refuse-covered as she expected, though Mina was fairly certain Butterfree didn't normally come in that shade of pink. Most of the participants had the same gleam as the Pokemon of the two trainers they'd met on the way here. And the same as the Bandra Pokemon during their failed attempt to take Keida. Which lead her back to...
"Hannah was at Keida."
"I know," Lijan replied. "I'm glad to see you made it out of there alive. Did your friends make it?"
"Some of them. I don't know about the rest."
"You have my sympathies. Dien also hasn't been seen since the attack...attacks." Lijan paused. "...we can talk later if you like. After the Contest."
Mina ducked her head, embarrassed. "Sorry."
She tried watching the Contest a little more.

You spy a handful of more Zubat on your way out, and almost don't notice the entrance when you reach it—between the time spent digging into the cavern walls and chasing your new Wobbuffet, it's now quite dark. ((About midnight BTW.))

"Time to get back to the Brandra HQ! But first we need to get Masamune and Duke healed up again." Christian mumbled and got out his map to plot a route that would take him to the brandra HQ, but which would take him through atleast one pokémon centre.
After finding his route, he headed out.

After awkwardly taking back his pokeballs and attaching them to his belt, and picking up Mina's as well, Mark went over to the contest hall. It took him a total of twelve seconds to get completely lost in the slightly-organized chaos, and he was forced to blindly wander around the random people and their fluffy, sleek or bad*** pokemon. One Treeko was wearing sunglasses, and made them look good. Mark also found that he couldn't pinpoint the location of all of the excitement...
((Note, Mark somehow found his way backstage. Hence his being completely lost. ))

The nearest Pokemon Center seems to be back in Stardust. The map says there's another Center to the north and slightly east of you, on the road leading to the Shrine of Light, but you know from experience that one went up in smoke around the time you left your associates in the Starlight Squad. A third is about the same distance away in a city called Plainshaven, but it's south—in the opposite direction you want to go in.
((Anything you want to do before going back to base? Because if not, I'll just auto you through the Pokemon Center and get you there.))

Mark:
Wandering through the back, you find some stray Fluff ((Blue)) and a set of costume Claws ((White)).
After dodging through the crowds for a while, you find yourself in a hallway. Doors open off of it on either side, several of which are open; through these you can see dressing rooms and—in some rooms—people and Pokemon, though most of the last are packing up, and one expensively-dressed young man is in frustrated tears as he stuffs a variety of fluff, bows and paints into his Accessories case. In contrast, a girl with red eyes and a Meowth seems to be prepping for the next round, whistling merrily.
