If they Battledive on the square they stand, they damage themselves 
At least that was in 3.0, don't know if it was fixed.

Lexxan got it. They can battle dive themselves. And it's still in effect because I used it against Arcax with puppetmaster in the tourney
There's also the hydras barbed hide or whatever, but it was the self-dive that was the hard part.

Magnets are the right answer, Invisibility wont protect from taking damage of area/global based spell.

actually, AI assassins couldn't be hit by armaggeddon in 3.0, so maybe ash has a point.

I thought invisible units are affected only by area effects (Fireball), and not mass ones (like Armageddon, Mass Slow, etc)?

So it was in 3.0. In 3.1 Armageddon,Fireballs,Firewalls,Circle of Winters,Showers, Firetraps Spikes, Storm affects Invisible creatures. Masses dont.
