** On a side note.. if Jorko hadnt used that Cheesy Dragon Combo in the first game, our match woulda been done in 2 games long time ago

I think you are suprised from result in game N3. Dont know why so many people think they have his won before game end. I have read long time ago very good book: Dune. Mother on main hero (not remeber names) teached his son someting simple: You never can be sure someting is done before its realy done! So far this rule help me alot in my h5 games to be less unhappy when i loss games

BTW i prefer to be lucky too

Hope this round will be much faster then the first was.

I hope so too - it all depends on opponent I can finish a game in max 2 weeks.

I'm sure we will be notified about pairings as soon as Ves can spare time Btw, don't forget to update the Caesars section as well.

We agreed the rules with Strider:

No wyngaal
No mirror
No mentored kamikazes
No dv in final

Best of 5
Twilight world 1.6
no boat stealing except to sunken

After two games, if it takes too long, we might consider changing map. Othewise all games will be played in this map.

Strike out from 5 pairs.

We agreed that each time we play it would take approx 4 hours as an average.

Thanks to the huge amount of opponent controlled garrisons in the map, there is not too much secret about the opponent's gameplay, so - having the consent from Strider - I will try to make live reports in the chatroom during the games. I hope there will be people to do so.

Good luck for both of us, but mainly for me

Yes, will be interesting... I hear that Zilo has implanted in his beauty silicone breasts, dyed blond hair and lengthened legs since I first saw her. Hopefully, I recognize her at all

Even though Kis has played with her 9 times vs my 1, I believe that even if I capitulate in the first game, I will learn quickly and be better in next Truth to tell, I wouldn't have agreed on this map if we didn't play till 3 victories.

Let's have a loooong fun and good luck!

Unfortunatelly, Strider had no time in December, than around xmas his video card went wrong, and now he had to go to abroad for 2 weeks to work, so thats why we have not started yet.

Round 2 has began on 4th of December, 2008.

Today is 6th of February, 2009.

No sign of Strider.

Who is my opponent then?

Caesars get to this crisis situation because no dead end for games played ... Caesars run too long, many players even no more on TOH ... Imagine final of football tourney running 2 years ! This is a bit comic no ? Situation must be solved somehow cos unfinished Caesars leads to degradation of TOH ... What serious attitude we can demand for regular players if even TOH finalists play like this ... No time to play ? Surrender game, wish luck to opponent ...

Problem is... you cannot just award year end TOP prize without playing to earn it.. basically cannot just get a bye to move on... if Strider doesnt show up.. then a replacement needs to be put it.. regardless who it is.. kisp needs to beat someone to get to next round.

I merely thru my hat in the ring.. cause I already earned my spot in ceasars and if strider dropping out.. I would take another shot at it.

But even if its not me.. my opinion is that he should hve to beat someone ... just cant give him a bye at this point.

But what do I know.

If Strider retires from the tournament, which I seriously doubt, the obvious solution is to promote Kispagat to the final, replacing Strider with someone else at this point(semi-finals) would be a strange solution. But, stranger things happen, so I guess in that scenario the obvious solution would be Valetin or maybe Sq79, which were Strider's opponents .

Jinxer, you cannot possibly be the opponent looool, that is just ridiculous... just imagine if you defeat Kispagat, and Jorko advances also, he has to play you all over again, after eliminating you already.

Good thing, Strider won't forfeit, or else the world might turn upside-down.

I dont think Strider will give up the tournament. My question is more or less about time.

If he did not have time in the last 2 month, whats the chance/guarantee that we will EVER play or finish a game?

Why should I invest even 1 minute to a tournament, when my opponent can go away for 2 month now and anytime soon? And if he can do it now, what will happen if the score is 2-0 for me?

How long should I be ready to play the game?

I invested really lot of time to become an emperor and participate in this tournament. Naturally, I enjoy playing but still aims are always important.

I could not imagine that this kind of situation may rise. I tought all players has same huge motivation to play to show to the community they are the best. But now Strider's behaviour and also Jorko's last declaration disappoints me. More I think more I agree with Infinitus. Dont have time- give up the tournament. Simple, as it is.

I cant imagine that someone not able to organise 3-5 hours per week to play. Cant be any real excuse. I am working and have 2 little boys and still manage to do so.

And sorry to look like creating a new drama,  but this permanent waiting leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

As I said.. I dont care if it is me or not.. But it SHOULD be one of the other Ceasar participants that earned the right to be there.

I am one of the most active players atm... I have played over 45 game this season alone. ANd I am online everyday.

I am sure Kisp would rather beat an opponent and earn the right to be in the final... instead of just being moved on for free.. That really isnt fair to the other Finalist that had to win to get there.

Its obvious that TowerLord is not a Jinxer fan.. but some of us are trying to make serious suggestions... so please leave your flames and personal attacks out.
