Considering how many weeks it took you to pick one - which you didn't - I'd suggest playing the same. Lesser chance of complains for you two and less eye bleeding for us.

I suggest you two play Twilight 2.0 for some games, both of you have played earlier versions, and this one isn't going to disappoint you either, now that sim turn break is history

Rmg2m is always fresh and new, full of surprises every game. Randoms maps are the only thing keeping me alive in world of heroes... I know Fire and Strider will not risk to play on 2m, but maybe custom rmg ?

I played some of them, and would recommand u 2 try: "Auf Engelsflugeln" or a harder one "After future"...(the map was called art of war, then changed, when author realized the name was taken before by our Fiur)

Believe it or not out of them 3... I would recommend MasterMind. Its a week 4 map. And only 1 path really.. so not many reasons to use multiple scouts for fighting, so means turn length will be shorter.

Mastermind is nice and good map. But exactly as you said - there is one way. And if are on your way archmags or patriarchs, game become really unbalance, because you will lost big army. And sometimes its not possible to beat them anyway , specially in first week.

Well, you are correct that this can happen.. BUT you do not have to be so dramatic.. I have had Patriarchs at the first choke point... and I merely waited till start of week 2. Got new refugee and new weeks troops then was easy pass. Dont forget Regen is FREE on map..

Mastermind is rarely a week 4 map. I am personally very disappointed if I cant take the middle in week 3, IF i survive week 1. Pack of lvl 5 guards on the way, some bad guards around may delay you so much, that pointless the continue.
Not to mention that dungeon might be dead if shooters are around, since cant upgrade lvl 1 to stalkers.
Also I think necro is too strong there.

as Elvin pointed out ... prolly best to just stick with same map... oterwise could take forever to agree on another map..
But anyways, ultimately doesnt matter to me.. but as Arbitor, this is my time being invested also.. so would like to get the ball rolling.

I want to ask a question ... Did some of you play with academy it is a pain in the ass to play with 7 initiative gremlins...
Dwarfs are also very screwed since they don`t get regeneration..

What do you mean Dwarves dont get Regen? I use regen with Thanes and preists all the time. Or maybe I misunderstood.

If you get regeneration then you don`t get free logistics and you are screwed- the other player takes center and comes to you

My first 5 games on Master mind I went 5-0 and in all of those first 5 games, I never even entered the middle.. never passed the necro garrison, and won. So Middle does not always mean guarenteed win.
And in my expereince on MasterMind.. Regen is far more important then Logs. Getting to a choke point SUPER fast then not being able to pass it does you no good

Making it to middle week 3 is normal and not able to pass it means that your opponents lacked skill. My last game on MasterMind I had final on day 2 week 3 and both heroes had full army even from week 3. Opponent was kontr - one rising star with great potential I suggest you play him. I am sure he can still catch up and be emperor in the end if he stops alcohol and women 
EDIT: MasterMind is this kind of map that you rush, I know that you don`t like such maps Jinxer... I am not a big fan of them also
P.S. I heard this from insatiable but you guys seem lucky what if in the center lie staff and necro cape. This will put you in significant disadvantage.. Maybe you can still win, I have no experience since I always have got to center first except one game

Well, my previous comments were as I said based on my first 5 games on the map.. as I was still learning the map.
I have since then been to middle first several time But you are correct, as a rule I dont Micro manage as some of you guys do.. so ultra rush is not my strong point. I suppose if I really wanted to give 110% I could micro manage and accomplish some rushes.. but I have always felt that racing should not be the focus of games, so never made a serious effort to try to be fast. Guess I am just content with being above average

Ye, i am available tonight to start the 2nd game. Meanwhile, we still don't have the answer from Ves. Ofc, the best would be to reach consensus between ourselves but that seems to be mirage hehe
To help, i compared profiles of fire and me and here are list of maps that we have somewhat equal experience on:
Map fire me
Tournament Giants 0 0
Twilight World 6 5
Abysmal 1 1
Sidekick 1 1
Avalon 0 0
All of them are large (no rush), complex and almost equally (un)familiar to both of us. Maybe some more suggestions? Before you do that, please, compare our profiles.
I can start the game tonight on either of these maps without preparation. Perhaps Ves can select one of these maps. Or fire would agree hehe

Or you could quit being difficult and just play DarkRealm again.. Fire Agrees to that map again.
This is getting silly.
Since we are looking at records..
Strider has 67 total Career games in 2+ seasons
FireDragon has 242 total Career games.
So your NOT going to beable to find a "Fair" comparison of game experience.
If Ves shows up and wants to cater to you and appoint a different map, that is great..OR if Fire Posts that one of other maps you suggested is fine with him that even MORE great.. but if he doesnt then stalling this tournament any further on trivial matters, would not be good at all.
So shall we say game #2 Starts tonight 7:00pm (FireTime) with DarkRealm unless Ves wants to change map. I dont care what map, I got nothing to gain... I just want this Tournament to get finished.. and my job as Arbitor is to help keep it moving.
And since Strider just won on Darkrealm, we all know he is familiar and capable on map.
