I have some suggestions and oppinions on the matter.
First of all, even though I don't play heroes any more, I like watching the replays sometimes... so I would suggest that every game played for Caesar would appear in a Caesar's Replay Thread, so everyone can enjoy the battles.
Second, I would like to say that the strikeout system for maps is the best... and I will explain why also...
Lets suppose Elit is matched with Sq, I am sure that at least two games out of three will be played on Hourglass, to Elit's joy because Sq also loves that map  ... so it's a win win situation here, everyone's happy 
Now lets suppose Elit meets Strider, none of the games will be played on Hourglass, but of course, none of them will be played on Dead Man's Lake either, so in the end they will settle for a map they both played less or never, so it's a balanced situation in this worst case scenario also , because both of them start from 0 knowledge of the map
In the end I would like to know why mirror is not allowed, since it is the most balanced type of battle ... only thing that comes to mind is that there might be a hero choosing argument, but since wyngal is considered the only unbalanced hero, it means the others are more or less equal.

Sure, detailed reports and replays from EACH game will be posted as it is the official rule emperors have imposed on themselves 
Mirrors..well there are some problems. Firstly, it's just more interesting if different gaming philosophies and magic schools meet, imo. Secondly, luck issue is huge in such games... imagine a sylvan matchup - it boils down to whose arcanes will shoot first... Of course, mirrors can be played though if both agree to it

I know that by posting I risk some "communist" naming me "spammer" but I need to post. The list includes some maps that are not ToTe like DML/BFH. The link for Forgotten Kingdoms is not working and I cant download it.I cant find the link for the last version of RR/Dueblo and also it is not clear which is the latest version of BZ.In ToH page almost all versions of the maps are old. It will be nice to fix all this details so there are no misunderstandings emerge for newbies like me.
When I get some time the next few days I wil fix the 2 bugs in Hourglas and I will put a link to the latest version.
Considering almost everyone agrees that HoD is more an Arena than a map. I think we should remuve it from the list and if we need a new map we can add new one like Lets Fight for example.

Currently BattleZonev-2.7 is the latest... and it is posted in the Maps thread... altho might make a few tweaks
I am gonna be calling Rob probably tonight or thursday night, since I finally got my phone back to get the upload info and I will be taking over the maps page and updating it with ALL of the latest map versions and keeping it up to date... so all map makers please start sending me all the latest versions of your maps.

I thought HoD was out of the list at some stage, and that Lets fight was in.
This is my earlier suggestions, added Lets Fight that i forgot at the time, and iof course Fiurs new map which i am sure will be a hit.

Nice to see so much buzz about Ceasar tourney, will be a nice ending to this seasons marathon. When the match-ups will be known, may be we can run little betting tourney on game outcomes?
Also my 2 cents regarding maps - if there are some ppl who would like to play their games on blind maps (at least for 3rd game), I can try to finalize one project, which I dropped some time ago ("Twilight World", one level 176x176). Then there might be at least 2 really blind maps (Fiur's and this one) that do not appear anywhere online and they can be send to players at the same time right before the game.

Good idea to include brand new entries (by Fiur and Zilonite) into the map list. Even if some of us might already taste Fiur's map it still would be a map without optimized movements routes.
So HoD has been substituted by Let's fight (if no one objects) and 2 possible new maps on the plate. A total of 15 maps now. I accede to Fraudatio's suggestion and will save Art of War for a blind Caesar's game.
To nancy: don't be so self-centered... you were not the one spamming doh Btw, we, proud Latvians, were further away from communism than your nation hehe

Yeah, I will defend my title on blind maps (like 80% of the maps on toh )

How can I be Caesar for H5 when there wasn't any tournament held yet for the 5th installment ?

1. I dont have skype, but maybe it would be very interesting if you could make a live coverage of the selection of the random matchups.
I do not intend to give you homework, and being a technical analphabet I dont know if it possible or not, just an idea. (Like Champions League)
2. What happens if during the ceasar I loose my emperor title? Or tomorrow you cancel all ratings?

1 - live coverage is impossible, unless we were all in the same time zone haha
2 - once you are in the caesars, doesn't matter what rank you end up under by the end. You stay in the finals till you lose.
By the way, looks like Mordaunt5 is backing out of Caesars (due to time issues) and Karim26 is taking his place.
If you guys are ready, I can start setting up the random matchups. Valentin will be the waitlister.

elit is right - 8 willing emperors and a perfect grid However, as Jinx has the spot as the most enthusiastic player and another is needed to make the number even, a more complicated system should be employed.
My suggesting from the very first post could be used (two lowest emperors fight with two highest lords for final 2 spots). This way we would arrive again to the grid of 8. Maybe Ves has another solution...
Map list seems to be set. Let's do "a little less conversation, a little more action" as Elvis would sing when reading long and boring heroes forums
