Orcs would have probably won if not for the necro set.. With so strong a champion stack keeping the warmongers adjacent to centaurs wasn't such a good plan but the champions' starting position could have allowed them to cripple cyclopes anyway.

The battle was interesting, but tbh I don't really enjoy these A stack kills B stack then C kills D till there are only 1-1 powerstacks left on each side...

Firedragon had it all, the Ring +20, the Staff -20, and The cloak of death ,it was an interesting battle but I had nothing really important to make difference and fighting the 3 most powerfull arties is very hard with only a four leave clover.
Congrats to Fire ,good luck in the Final!

Firedragon and Strider failed to choose map for final of Caesars. Maybe is time for Vesuvius to pick map ?
P.S. Random map, template 2m is the best option

Hey, Infi, lately you have developed a paratrooper skills of suddenly falling out of the blue Don't speak for us!
It is true that for the last 3 weeks Firedragon rejects all mutually unplayed maps that are being offered. But we are getting there hehe I hope we find the map in nearest couple of days.
Also, Fire has excuse as he is working very hard and often is away for several days in a row. So our msn chat looks bizzare - 3 sentences in 3 days on average hehe
Stay tuned for the map name of game 1!
As for other rules then we have agreed to decide the winner by 3 victories. Wyngaal and DV are banned. Map criteria for selection is "large".
Btw, maybe others can help as well? So far, i'm grateful to Fiur and Nat for map suggestions.

Funny. So all this time he was thinking on the list of some 10 maps and in the end decides this? I wonder what the reasons are, hmm
Maybe we still can find a suitable map. It would be painful if Ves selected Twilight or HourGlass or any other map of unequal experience for one party. Let's see what Fire says...

We are not actually debating - he almost doesn't answer msn... Fire has denied roughly 10 maps. His offer is HG or BZ where i have 0 games hehe Ofc, he is not interested in TW either. But i cannot understand why he rejects all maps that are unfamiliar to both of us... I hope it is not in hope that Ves will pick his "home" map to increase chances

What's the problem of letting Ves choose the map, it couldn't be more fair.
And the saying of fire dragon rejecting all your offers, you were also rejecting all his offers as well. Or was he allowed to even offer ?

Strider_HL: I accepted challenge to play TW just for help Zilo in turnament. Why you cant accept challenge and play HG when map is tested from time and proved good for all races.
If you can play HG and won match....i will start almost "respect" you
P.S.
If you need advices for map feel free to ask.

That is because Firedragon is a total ******. He NEVER starts a game without him having advantage. Whether he knows the map perfectly or if he simply doesn`t like the pairs he says brb and vanishes..... After 2 days he wants new pairs... That is ALWAYS.
GL in finding a solution.. maybe in one month you will agree on map. GL to Strider to understand his English 
P.S. ofc with Infinitus his English is fine, but when he negotiates his English turns bad 
P.S. sounds like new drama, there is nothing bad though

This is why Willgefors is my Heroes 5 gosu - he can beat me on random map (my own ground), he can beat Jinxer on Genesis, he can beat Elit on HG ... Universal master of heroes ... TW coming next No drama after each game
Beating opponents on "blind" maps with mega dramas after each game - not really impressive

From your stats page, your score with Willgefors is 4-3 in your favour, so he can I not saying he beat Elit, Jinxer or me on native maps every time, i mean he try and can

From his stats page it is 5-3 look carefully
Most importantly our last 4 games are 3 - 1 for me ...other games are from times when I was a noob.
My loss is a suicide on TW. Other 3 games he played ossir or ylthin and managed to beat IMBA elves
One question - what are your relationships with willgefors that u defend him so much? Nothing personal I like very much willgefors but I think he is big enough to speak for himself.

nancy, the depth of your reasoning nicely matches the elegance of your language Do you really suppose it would be a fair game for the Caesars if i played Hourglass blind against Fire who has 74(!) games there
Quit mentioning your games on TW - you have 10 games there with the same hero repeating every move like robot. That is all what is wrong about hardcore strategy game. Funny that you are proud of these wussy ways hehe
sq, read carefully what i wrote. I've demanded map proposals from Fire many times but mostly his answer is "me no idea". He offered RR and MM but then rejected them himself as they don't fit "large size" criteria. My proposals constitute majority of maps from TOH page that are equally (un)familiar to us. We have also discussed maps that some of us have more experience on but denied due to this reason.
Yet, i think the only problem is communication speed with Fire. If i understand correctly then he is seldom at home. Fire suggested and maybe we will pick a map from maps4heroes.com if none of tested TOH maps are acceptable to him.
As for Ves intervention... Ves does smart and in the best canons of democracy letting players to reach consensus. Respect for that! I totally agree with him that his ruling should be used only as an ultimate remedy if all negotiations fail. Should Ves intervene after all, then it is pivotal that the experience of his picked map is somewhat equal to opponents. Yet, in the Caesar section it states "chosen randomly"...
To conclude, the problem is our very slow communication and not the map selection as there are still plenty out there. I hope that Fire starts answering msn any time soon...
