Yeah I saw that too on BBC today... lol quite the timing there. Anyways this is really too far for me. I mean the guy is a women, no denying it but she thinks she is male... but the real problem is the child. Doctors had warned him that the excessive hormone therapy would not be good for the child. I just hope it's healthy.

I posted the truth. The US man did not have any surgery when it comes to genitals. Proof reading before posting is a good thing, you know.

Edit: But you did state that one looses teh ability to reproduce when having a sex change.. which is technically not true because you can keep the reproductive organs.

Well I think it's genderless, but some features are associated with males, some with females, so it can technically apply to a soul If we of course think we have one. Well, you can replace the "soul" with ego, character, whatever you want
And is it possibly a full gender change when you've kept the other gender's reproductive organs? Pretty funny if you ask me. You look, speak, behave like a man, yet you have no penis and no balls Like a male shemale. Or female hemale? Bah, those titles are so confusing. Well, you get the drift

I see this differently. I put human attributes into two categories : Essence and Personality. Ego and character belong to the Personality because they are alterable, and soul (and any names you have for it, except you can't use ego because it is a part you can work on) belongs to the Essence category.
But if the soul does have a gender, then it is very possible that Mytical has a male soul and was in a womans body.

You are born one gender determined by your chromosomes.
You can't change that and even if you could, you're born one gender and it's there to stay, no matter how you try and cover it up.

I'm curious if Mytical is now legally considered a male? And suppose she tried to marry someone of either gender, would it be a legal marriage with appropriate benefits?
I call her she because that's how she sounds when I talk to her.
We had an interesting local case where a doctor decided to have sex change surgery and lost some of his patients, staff, and marriage. But he feels better as a woman and a found a butch lesbian to date.
It's easy for people to say it feels wrong and unnatural and it probably is for those people. But for someone who needs to do something like that the wrong and unnatural is being their born gender.

There is more to friendship than supporting your friend in every possible folly.
If I wanted (truly wanted) to kill myself, would you say "ok, i'm sorry, but in fact it's your decision and if that's what you want.. I'll look for a coffin for you"? Reading your posts in this thread, I somehow don't doubt it.
More.. If my brain somehow convinced itself that living with legs is bad and I felt bad NOT being able to cut off my limbs and live as a torso.. Would you support me? Would you find me a doctor who would do it for me? I'd say the same old stupid "I think that will make me happy, everyone should do what makes me happy", and you'd happily agree? Or would you rather try to convince me to visit psychologists or psychiatrist? I will repeat myself, those were invented for a reason. Just because we think something will make us happy doesn't mean we should do it. We are not omniscient and our brain is, unfortunately, confused at times. If we all followed the rule Mytical set, we'd sank into anarchy with half of us doing harm to ourselves.
I did not use harsh words against Mytical because

They don't nod and agree, but they have the brains enough to figure out it is done and over. Does it really matter if they agreed or not? In fact, several of them HCM'd me asking me if I was sure about it as soon as they figured it out. Heck, they probably don't agree with the decision. However, friends support people when it is obvious that nothing said will change a persons mind.
Honestly small minded people bring down humans levels way too often. I bet if I had gotten breast implants, there would have been a drastic change in how accepted it was. Especially if I supplied pictures..huh?
