The next puzzle is coming right now
This is a helpmate too, so we know the details: black to move, you control both players, white mates black at move 4 (which is white's 3rd move in fact)
Be careful with this one! Harder than it seems.
An important thing you MUST notice: ??? (will be told later )
Without the hint above it is hard to solve the puzzle, but try it. But if i revealed it now, the puzzle would be no match for a chess player. I hope you understand it
Good luck.
P.S.: Good to be back.

Took me some time to figure out that Knight where to move, and first I was thinking of the King to go in the corner.

WoW Ash! You solved it without knowing the hint
You are starting to be a grandmaster
Why did I say that it is important to know the trick? Because if the board was flipped, the puzzle wouldn't be solvable. The key move is O-O-O (castle queenside). Ash managed to find it without complication. You needed to take a better look at the board: You must have noticed the ranks' and files' characters are reversed. Excellent job.
Will post a more difficult one today.

Well, the fact that white is situated on the last rank instead of the first, might have been confusing, so you can still be proud of yourself

A somewhat new definition is serial-helpmate.
This means that black still helps white, but black has many moves before white moves. Just an example:
"Black to move, serial-helpmate in 13"- means that black makes 13 moves in a row (without white moves) and after the 13th move, white mates black immediately, in one move. So in fact it is mate in one, but only after a series of moves.
Your first serial-helpmate puzzle to solve is the following:
Black to move, S-HM in 17.

Don't you think that is a bit too hard for our students here, Keldorn? I know that kind of puzzle is just one-side predicting, but 17 moves?
I am totally completely late with my part and once again I have to apologize cuz I.. well.. kind of forgot about it last time
but hey, I'm not done yet!

Well, doom, despite their length, SHMs are usually easy to solve. This one isn't an exception either. Requires skills and some time, but absolutely solvable
I believe Ash will find no problems solving it, nor do you, Doom. You can try to solve it this time
EDIT: No, you can't give check, and Joonas. Not bad idea, but tell me the exact sequence of moves, as it is hard to decide whether its good or not.
