You have no goal? I watch NG because I like seeing the colourful and somewhat fascinating side to the planet, it helps shape my view of things beyond the 'obvious'. That's my intake. If you claim to be smarter from a program yet you've intergrated none of it into your life, then by right you shouldn't be smarter.
Action without purpose is for fools, everything must contribute to your life goal.
Sorry forgot that your not used to this, ima go back to patting your head and pointing you within 180 degree of the 'general' direction that I think you should be heading toward. A mature subject deserves a mature answer, even if it doesn't seems so, purpose defines words and whether their smart or not, not the words themselves.

Well, I watch it because of the science shows. Mostly about the universe and the planets. I'm becoming smarter with every new word, fact, etc. I learn from there, but these retards at my school think that it's lame.

If you cannot intergrate what you've learnt into your life than it doesn't have any value, and things of no value are shunned and rightly so. If you can find and use value from NG then do so, but not to spite, but because that's what makes you happy. And do the same for others, have tolerancy even when none is given toward you. If you can see, yet are surrounded by the blind, you cannot spite the blind for being so, guide them.

Azagal:
Quote: As opposed to yourself the realist, knowledgeable, conflic-loving, intelligent, grizzled adult a deeply fascinating person
What I meant was that there are many different kinds of people, and she seemed like the type of person I described.
Quote: I also like how the two of you got together by you not at all doing your silly pillar theory thing
On the contrary, pillar theory was used quite effectively. That's what I was doing when I was first talking to her: showing her what I'm like, what virtues I have, etc. She was doing the same - and she's quite convinced me of her virtues. This was a textbook illustration of the effectiveness of pillar theory.

I told my friend about it and he understood it just fine. I've got one more year to make this thing work, for we might never see eachother again.
Ofc. I know that she values intelligence because she too has good grades.

Good grades has nothing to do with the kind of intelligence you expect from a partner.

What kind of intelligence is that, then?
Edit: Regarding shallow qualities. When you get to become someone really unique in their life, they'll typically value you for who they believe you are way more than their own subjective opinion regarding necessary qualities.
So if you only want to be intelligent, strong, etc. for someone else, you're most likely only going to meet dissapointment. People are interested in people with ambition and motivation, someone who does something fully for their own agenda, in stead of, e.g. openly wasting time. If you know what you want and fight for it, others will be intriuged by your presence and you'll find it much easier to become part of their life as well, because if you happen to have similar interests (at least 1), they'll want to become part of yours. Just make sure to always address everyone, independent of any variable, as your equal.

But she IS smart. Not Isaak Newton smart, but still smart.
She gets good grades, she knows English, she knows how to work on a computer on a higher level (not programing and that stuff, though).

Oh yeah, one more thing. How sceptic are you?
Quote: Erm, you said in a fancified manner, but would I be wrong to assume that you believe that Nooby needs an objective to work towards and in the wake of his hunger have babes flocking around him>?
I think Nooby needs to take care of nooby, before he tries to take responsibility for a whole other person. I also think it'll make him more attractive to other people in general.
You call it objective, I call it life ambitions.

Ack, sorry. I honestly didn't read much after Mvass' post.
@NoobX
I'd just, given your current age, suggest you question the stuff you see, in stead of taking it for granted. Not only in school, but also your own feelings and goals.
Do you know the saying "No one likes a pessimist"? Not that there's anything wrong in being a pessimist, but in certain cases it may mean that conversations would be very uninspiring.

Let me put it that way: she might be good in school, but she can also be a very shallow and boring person with literally zero hobbies and nothing to talk about.

I think I know what you mean, but I also think I'm largely like that. I'm rather introverted and the total sum of events in my life is much lower than any average joe. As such, for me to talk about stuff I really care about, would require great trust, and otherwise it'd very superficial.
My guess is it's possible the dating step, in such a case, have happened prematurely. We all have interests and ambitionts, but not all have equal many and openess is also varying from person to person.
Therefore, I guess that it's possible, that sometimes these events where people have nothing to say to eachother, are events where they've not met under the right circumstances and maybe need to go out and have some experiences and share moments together and then they can talk about that and talk about what they'll do next. Maybe just walk without talking, eat together, etc.
I think it really depends a lot on the person, and it's too easy to just assume it's the other persons fault.
Edit: One of the greatest gift of, not only a relationship, but friendship as well, is the possibility to empower someones life and make the sum of you and he/she greater than what it'd have been before you knew eachother.
