Quote: Yesterday we had first main hero battle with Strider. Battle alone took approx 2. hours.
Blood, acid and mini artifacts lay in the battlefield now. After heavy massacre I needed to flee, but I recover and try again cpnquering wizard's land.
Sorry, Sir Gauvain, you need to wait a little bit more.
Sounds like fun battle. So far 2h is like 1 from my quickness turns
Today we start making rules with Lixue for next match. For now both from us will choice his favorite map and second will choice 1st possition and race. We need to set 1 more map.
For now its dragon pass and HG. I hear none can beat Lixue on dragon pass so result maybe start from 1:0 for him
When we set final rules i will post more.

Yesterday - after very interesting second main hero fight - our game finished surprisingly quickly. This time Strider made a huge mistake by underestimating my movement/economic capabilities.
But that alone could not help me.
I needed extreme good luck and morale, and this time Ms. Fortune was on my side.
All the way I had very good game. After the 1st turn, when I saw Lethos in my tavern, I decided to play a warlock without destruction.
I feared that Strider will have light and destruction, or dark magic, so I tried to drag untill leadership/empathy comes. It did not happen, but I have found knight set. My other strategical iams were swift mind, teleport assault (hydra attack) and counterspell. Mentor did not give me only swift mind. (But in our three battles 2 times my swift minded hero starting ATB position was after Jhora)
In week 5 I decided to attack wizards. After great battle I needed to flee, but all the minis were gone for Strider. Thats why I decided to rush him again, not let him rebuild his minis. Again close battle, but I had too surrender. I was disappointed, because at a moment I felt the battle is in my pocket, but no.
When I realized that he was going to the tunnel I marched there instantly, gathered all my army I could buy and attack. Thanks to luck and morale he could not move with golems, or gorgs.
All an all, it was a good game. Despite of lower chances at the start, I managed to build a good hero, but the winner should be Strider still.
At least we know, that he can make mistakes also.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this was very undeserved loss. I made a very rare reckless and arrogant mistake by not placing full gargs stack on the field in the last surprise attack by Kis. At this moment magnetic golems + armageddon would have wiped out the remnants of Lethos army and I wanted to be extra economic to spare units. Yet, as a good tradition, riders were right in opposite direction and multiple morale in first turn let blood witches to kill my single gargs.
The reason for my untypical carelessness stemmed from earlier 2 victories where I was glad to win against Kis who had mastered rare perks for dungeon - "Absolute Morale" and "Luck when needed". After 2nd battle the dungeon had lost all momentum he might have to beat the hefty wizard. I was sure I had won.
Especially in 1st battle, it hard to see from replay ATB but in combat ATB only his never ending morale (that put drags and Lethos constantly up front) prevented titans from rejoining my ranks.
I thought that at least in 2nd game titans might share some morale/luck same as dragons (our probabilities were almost the same) but Kis was very masterful to leave me wishing... Again the final lucky blow left me without proud giants.
Luck favors the strong and in battle of equals usually the one, who has saddled "virgin Luck", wins This time Kis went even further - it appeared that he had threesome with me being victimized hehe
In conclusion, even if I feel like losing when caught with shackles on, it was a helpful lesson to learn that opponent's morale/luck should be calculated as 100% to avoid blunders AND to remind me to never say "hop" before the jump has been completed.
1st battle
2nd battle
Sad finish
Kis, thx for the game and lessons. Good luck in next rounds

Unfortunatelly, it was 1 game only, so no chance for Strider to get his second undeserved loss in toh cup
But at least you, Strider and Elit, are singing the same song about my luck. Nice

hehe I don't mind losing in hard and interesting battle. Fact that you ride in the chariot of fortune is common for all great leaders of our world - in a race of billions simple wisdom is insufficient Hopefully, you can realize your potential somewhere else besides heroes
I just feel stupid losing completely won game by simple carelessness.

Very nice replays ... especially the first one.
Kispagat and Strider both played very well, and even though the final battle was quite lucky for Kispagat, I must say, that overall he played better and really deserved to win. Only one mistake he made in my oppinion : surrendering too late in the first battle ( there were some moments when he had 9 drags or 6 drags left where he could've surrendered in very good situation making second battle easier for him), but in those moments , in the heat of battle it was hard to predict that the ressurection frenzy of strider, is gonna put him in disadvantage, when things were looking so good on his side .

Surely that was a mistake not to flee before. In fact I hoped that morale will trigger often, to equlize Jhora's speed in casting. Hehe
(Remark: I had no money, so only fleeing was an option)

Hehe. Dont tell Strider or Elit, I have read somewhere, and its very true, luck favours the strong. If I translate the Hungarian paralel saying to English, it says: Good player has luck.
In my life I was never lucky in gambling, but always in mind games. Hehe.

Haha, the famous kispagat luck. Still, whoever said that dungeon vs academy is a doomed match for dungeon couldn't be more wrong. Guess this proved my point.

Player #1 or #2?
I think its almost impossible for #1 eg the lvl 6 and lvl7 dwellings are just too far apart to make even make a chain between them!

Hehehe after seeing first replay, i thought it was most likely a loss again for kis , but seems he's really determined this time
His continued brainstorming, stormed out from outrageous luck and morale instead
He must be screaming like mad to the computer screen last night
