Yep, unanimous judge decisions will be the key factor here to avoid pathetic flaming threads.
I wonder what would be the judges' decision in our case with Val if we played in TOH Cup - game has been streched for a month now and both players have been busy at times even if one more than other. Yet, both are ready to continue. This is a perfect and quite OFTEN bordercase where no one in particular is to be blamed. I see no easy way out here...
What would Brian Boytanno do? 
Lack of prior, clear system for imposing time frame on the tournament might only render unnecessary headaches to our dear organizers later on.
P.s. Sry for polluting your thread - I just wish this tournament to be a success story without so common quarrels lately.

Add lixue from Drachenwald to the list.
Maybe it helps to make different "sections" at the start of the tournament, so that for example Europeans don' have to play vs Australians with 12 hours time difference in the first rounds.
Two questions:
Does "No mirror" mean, Magic Mirror is not allowed, or same factions against each other won't play? Or something completely different?
Are maps now chosen from Caesar's maps?

That refers to same faction matchups and maps will be selected from the toh page. Not all of course, we'll try to pick the more suited and balanced ones. We haven't gone over this yet.

An issue about lixue: his Toh handle is lixue, but he can't remember his password and the e-mall account he registered with is no longer valid. Anything you can do about it?

Time is up.
There are 28 participants for toh cup.
In 21.00 GMT +1 we are going to make the player & map random selection in toh chatroom today.
Every player are welcome, because each player has voting right.
Strider and Elit joined the cup,so we decided to give them the chance to meet in the final only. Strider gets player 1 position and Elit is player 32. Also, as best players, they will not play in round 1.
Also the positions for player 16 and 17 are free, so anyone who will get 15 and 18 positions are winner automatically.
We agreed to use 14 maps for the cup. Players will help us to decide which map goes to which game, but we will not tell the players this info, they should agree.
Players in the grid will be revealed as soon as we are able to do it, hopefully tomorrow latest.
Players, come to chatroom.

Thats probably the wisest move since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
And - if possible, i would be very happy if the grid was set up in its completeness at start, so 1/8 final could start when both 1/16 finals have their winner etc, possibly gaining some more time than the two weeks. If i made myself clear...

If anyone need help to find his opponent, Elvin, Mystic or myslef may help.
I would like to ask all the participants to be as tolerant as possible, since there are lotssa new faces.
Please pay attention to the map & rule selection phase, I dont mind if the players make an agreement, send the rules to me via email: boros01@invitel.hu.
Please set the day of playing also.
First its good, because I know that game is going, secondly I know I dont need to interfere.
I agree with Fraud, if you know who is your next opponent, you can arrange next round game immediatelly, but this is not obligatory.
Two things.
I try to be in chatroom as much as possible, I ask the players to do so.
If u can post your battles and thoughts about your game(s) here, also very much welcome.

We made the random maps, but only let u know if u cant agree.
So discuss it with your opponent.
If u cant reach agreement untill day 4 of each two week period, let me know, and I will tell you the map and rules.

No, its not your fault, Elvin and me try to get things as complicated as possible.
Yes, with Elvin we chose from 14 maps for each game. So we have a grid, where every game is connected to a randomly selected map. If we reveal it, its obvious that one of the player might use this as an advantage, not to get agreement knowing the map.

Option 1:
Together you can choose the map and agree on rules.
Option 2: If cant agree, I will give you the map and rules.
I suggest option 1.
If you agreed on map and rules, please send me an email.
