@mvassilev: No since she said "We praise the Tavern? Look at the OSM first!" (since indeed, both forums were praised). That's like saying: "I am killing his family? Look at my family first, they're dead by him!". It makes no sense what-so-ever to say that you are better in this context. This is ALL I wanted to say to her. I don't know where she got the idea that I "attacked" her or anything.
And she did provoke the OSM since she said it was worse than the Tavern (in fact, both were "praised", so on that level, it's the same). The only thing that I did was to explain this post (the one you're reading now), in a more detailed approach.
@antipaladin: The thing is, discussions are not about "changing your mind" but just about arguing. It might come as an insight to people that read it. Or it might come as an insight to those debating. It doesn't necessarily have to end with an agreement. It's just a piece of text that you read.

Now seriously and I mean it, somehow every time TheDeath argues with me he seems to completely talk about useless things and off-my-point. The proof is the above quote. Please re-read my posts (but it seems you somehow can't ) and tell me where I said that the Tavern is "innocent" compared to OSM in that "self-praising" aspect. No, I said that they are BOTH guilty, and NOT only the Tavern. And because of that, please, as I said, ignore my posts, since I don't want you to twist my meanings and then make the others understand my point(s) wrongly (because I will NEVER reply to your posts to correct my points ever again, since it is useless it seems). Anyway, GL left clear instructions and I understand them perfectly. Basically, anything goes and I'll judge in the end how well you all did. It'll be hard to pick a winner.

"Debating to exhaustion" doesn't mean that it will change somebody's opinion - it just means that both sides have said and argued about everything that is remotely related to the subject. Look at the abortion thread. There TheDeath, Asheera, and I debated the subject to exhaustion. None of our opinions were changed, neverthless, the subject was exhausted. Or look at IGUOBIG (I Gave Up On Believing In God). It seems to be exhausted for the moment, but if there is an influx of members who want to discuss this topic, it will turn out to not be exhausted. "Debating to exhaustion" means the discussion doesn't go like this:
Person A: I have View A.
Person B: k.
It means the discussion goes like this:
Person A: I have View A.
Person B: I have View B. View A is wrong because of X.
Person A: Actually, View B is flawed because of Y, and X is an invalid argument because of Z.
And so on, ideally until everything to be said on the subject has been said.

TheDeath can miss the point sometimes, I agree. So can I. So can everybody. But the best solution is not to ignore each other, but to calmly discuss the point to exhaustion, and when someone makes a mistake about your point, correct them. I won't ignore your posts as long as you try to provoke the OSM or something that I have a connection with (that is, in this case, since I'm in the OSM team).
You are so focused on this "ignoring" as if you're afraid or something that I talk about your points. You see, you feel like explaining yourself since by your thinking, I am "off the point". You're somehow afraid that others will misinterpret it because they read my posts. Now go back to your post where it provokes the OSM. Should I ignore your post there? Do you ignore my post (it seems not, without telling others to ignore it meh)? Why did you have to tell others to ignore my posts, they know better than you (Lexxan for example) if they get the point or not.
Somehow you see, you can't "release" yourself of the OSM. That's why you provoke. You always need to say something about them (in this case, it includes ME, since I'm on that team), and then do you seriously expect me to ignore that? And then you crack up, because I reply to a post that you included me in. Couldn't you just talk about the Tavern alone?

Ok this most certainly wasn't the way I expected this to turn into. 
Why couldn't everyone just stick to their quotes and not go out of their forum's self-criticism, is beyond me.
