Yes, but i don't posses the massive space brain required to follow this at lightning speed without losing the sense of it all. Btw, some people haven't joined this, yet. I'll give it some more time, since I really have to hurry, now.

Guess the point of this thread is for calm arguing, yet it seems that people either missed this or you didn't miss it but you failed to be calm. Anyway, I am going to reply to the thing that Genielord originally posted, since I haven't had the time to do that yet.

Praising ones own team really isn't a bad thing. Saying how good it is isn't a bad thing either. Could you imagine if in the real Olympics, the countries didn't praise their own individual teams? Or what about if team mates didn't praise their own team/team mates? It would be a bit silly now wouldn't it? If I was doing well in an event then it would be logical to praise the person and ultimately, praise the team. Sure, saying how good a team is might be annoying, but hey, that's the name of the game.
If our team wasn't amazing then how come we have the most medals? No no no, please don't quote this by smashing every key and going all out psycho. It's easy to admit that you're not as good as we are. Oops, I just praised our team again, I guess you are all used to that now, right? It must not be good by being lower than the Tavern. I mean, the OSM should clearly be winning. But wait, most of their posts are 101928277338373738 words in length and would most likely bore the judges to death.
We then have the VW team but I think the SPAM might also kill the judges. What else do we have? Ah yes, we also have the Glade, but they are too busy being inactive so that doesn't matter. We also have the Temple but they don't really matter anyway. Who plays Heroes 5? Pffft. I guess there is the Library but meh.
Oh, the Tavern is playing as well. I wonder where we got those medals then?

I don't know if I can take you seriously William, for all I know, what you said is complete nonsense. I mean, you say the OSM for example "bores the judges" to death -- do I feel some kind of bribe in here? Judges for what? For H5 Duels? For quiz? Is the duel the place where we write posts "101928277338373738 words in length"? Or the quiz? You have hardly any point at all
On the other hand, this does say the OSM is one of the best. The word count doesn't make it the best, but most times it indeed is a good representation of a post's quality, simply because it contains more information, in detail, something which the Tavern, for example, lacks (but actually the other forums are even worse, except the Glade).
I don't care about the subjective judges in the "creative" contests, I care about the quality of what I do (and in this respect, the OSM team), unlike you William, which you rely on a judge (must i remind you, he or she is not an omniscient being? ).

Tavern is a place for chat,the VW is a place for spamm,
The upper forums are directly and heroes and MM games. Meaning that the glade is for Forum games,and oCC
and the OSM is directly for RL discussions.
I think if people just thought about carefully what they would wright it would be a better place

I disagree completely. Most things, if not all, are a lot more interesting than a lot of boring text, or are you saying that political "debates" are better than an interesting "game"?
EDIT: And an image is worth a thousand words, and the Tavern has a lot of images compared to the OSM (funny images, etc)

Lol no. You are comparing apples to oranges  Whether a political debate is more interesting than a game completely depends on the person. I only pointed out that more text holds more detail. It is not a direct linear relationship, or for that matter, any simple mathematical relationship (simple means polynomial for example). But it usually does represent the amount of interesting information.
Of course just because you are not interested in serious topics does not mean anything.

i can post a SIROUS image in osm ,regarding poltiics,but it can be seen as propaganda,btw so meny posts in taverncan be called propagenda,the fact tat they not SIROUS or we dont Percive them as such,does not nessery means they arent.
