It might also be interesting to read some debates that aren't simply X vs. Y, why not post the question "What is love" and have the participating members state their definition and argue as to why it's right.
Of course I don't mean this as the only example, but by posing a question it could invite several different ideas at once to be discussed and measured against each other.
Just a thought, carry on

As much as I think this place could benefit from structure, as a poster, I don't (A) like to be constrained by it, (B) want my posts "scored" and (C) like the idea of every discussion being turned into a contest.
In threaded discussions, like society, less government is better.
