Will it make things better when I say for the 3rd time that he can blindly pick any topic out of those you suggested already which will give him more than enough time to think about a couple of good ones on his own.
I'm not going to suggest a specific topic, though: if I have a special interest in a topic, I'd rather make it a separate topic without "points".
