I'll give this a try later this evening.
Sounds fun.

I got Month 1, Week 4, Day 3. That's when I took the Blue's town. However, since "taking one castle" and "conquering one enemy" are not the same, I guess I defeated the Blue on Week 4, Day 4.
replays (warning: they are all kinda boring )
final battle
The thing is I haven't played H5, like, five times in the last two years... So c'mon, kids, don't let this old fart beat you.

And now we have a strong showing from 'Grandpa' Vlaad! Warned of boringness, I watched only the final replay, I'll save the creeping stuff for another time.
I wonder why a hero can't do a direct attack to a ballista.

Well done Vlaad!

OK! My second try: REPLAYS
This time I manage to win week 3 day 5.
Best fights:
Day 13: fight versus 3x12 Archmages.
Day 16: fight versus 2x11 Ranis Rakshassa.

I gave two tries and failed. First was just to get know the map. Not easy, even I had Ingwar and Karli as secondaries I was defeated on day 5 week 3 at the castle, since my road was a bit difficult with lots foul wyverns, battle mages and archmages.
And the disaster was that it was a dwarfen town with extra 95 defenders, so my 52 skirmisher was not enough

Compress them with rar first, otherwise speedyshare allows multiple uploads at once. Meanwhile I am resuming my second try, soon coming week 3. No clue if I will be able to break yet, can't see the tier 6 guardians.

Earliest was week3 day 7. taking the town on the top left.
Had a better one actually, but that level 6 guards which were 20+ pitlords spoiled that party

In my 3th try I'm able to reach the neutral tiers 6 day 8...but they are...19 Paladins! Probably impossible with my army.

i think those of you who managed week 3 are both really good and really lucky, because you could suicide easily if the neutral stacks are powerful and your battlefield terrain is unfavorable...
look at that dude kispagat, he had to go for a fortress town
when i go for fortress towns, i always bring a secondary hero along and aim to step in the town when my main hero loses to the guard post
cheesy, but it works!

what a great opportunity for me to learn creeping thanks so much guys from this thread starter to those participating with competent mind(either with creeps/scores).
But I can't watch some replays which use MOD battleground models and I know I've to download and put at userMods folder under the game directory. Can someone give me link for it ? (please, here the Internet speed is too too slow and have to wait a few minutes for a page and so having problems to find)
By the way I think this would be a right place to ask my still-annoying-question, how to beat phoenix in "Disputed Land" before week 3/4(or asap?) at normal/hard level with Might oriented race like inferno with fewest casualties?(maybe wrong name but it's 1vs1 map and it's come bundled with game maps) Because me and my friend use to play that map and he often takes Academy, so you can guess he can always clear phoenix at least 1 week earlier than me. Worse, I've to take blue player position which is top right castle and it has movement penalties unless you are inferno. Hope you guys can show how easily it's by giving suggestions (and links for replays too if possible)

Well, I don't know the best way, but going for destructive and taking cold death is one of the easier ways to take a phoenix down.

Yeah, that's the same answer when I asked my friend "hey dude how could you clear even before 2weeks earlier than me?" when he took Havez as a starting hero, and swap to other more magic based wizards(closer to Cold Death) like Nathir with over 100 gremlins in week 1. I bet there are many other ways around for might-oriented. come on guys, could you please help me solve this puzzle ?

Kispagat, sq79, no replays to share?
-----
My probably last try: REPLAYS
Easy start with Ingvar, but there were more than 30 Druid Elders to kill... Strong Cicrle of winter but Inga had a very low mana pool.
End week 3 day 2!

I realize that these builds are directed around the challenge. Could you go on from these end positions to win the map?
As near as I can see Zenithale is in the lead with day 16. I didn't realize people would be trying multiple times. I thought once would be boring enough.

Week3 day 2 as well, was only 2 movement point from reaching on w3d1
Level 6 guards was shadow matriches, 19 of them during week2, but first aid tent and expert war machines prevented a suicide, lost like 5 shieldguards and 30 harpooners though.
Ok I'm stopping it, its getting boring

My quest for week 3 comes to an end. Was not offered warmachines so I went for enlight, destructive and defense->vitality. I could manage shadow witches week 3 but without machines that came at a high price and a day's distance away was a destructive Jhora. Had it been a knight the game would be mine alas her destructive and counterspell lost me the day. Final was week 3 day 4. Maybe if I had a lvl 3 destructive though I doubt I could hold that long, her mana was not going to run out.

Quote: week 3 day 2!
Great stuff, Zenithale. I gave it a few more tries and once lacked one more step to capture the town on week 3, day 2.
Destructive or Summoning plus Ballista seems to be the way?
Anyhow, here's one funny replay for Phoenix:

It's Inga vs Hydras, but you gotta love the terrain here.

Nice one Vlaad. Those Hydras like the taste of wood. Surprising that the opponent town is unguarded in the image.
