They should make a special edition with "Night Elf Prime" and "Arthastron" to appeal to xerox.

Willow is a classic. You don't need good special effects to make a good movie.
I watched Transformers 2 a second time and I would give it a 3.5/5. It's a fun movie but it felt like the director and crew were on crystal meth the entire time they were creating it. The whole thing needed to slow down and focus on character development a little bit more. I think our fast paced culture is starting to bleed into movies, and it's not good. I've noticed several movies in recent years that felt uncomfortably rushed from beginning to end.

A few bits of info.
Seems Ian McKellen will resume his role as Gandalf in the hobbit. I was hoping he might and while I hadn't thought about it, Gandalf was quite different as Grey. Promising.
"Grey Gandalf is my favourite," he told us. "Peter Jackson's too, we always preferred Gandalf the Grey. Peter liked him because he got down and dirty. He slept in the hedgerows; he was closer to the earth and not quite so spiritual. He's also funnier -- he's got more variety to him. We thought there was more scope in that Gandalf."
The Deadpool spin off is planned to be faithful to the comics, thank goodness for that. Though no scripts at the moment. Reynods' taking the role of Green Lantern delayed a bit Deadpool plans so they will hopefully have reflected a bit on the possibilities.

Push - (no spoilers but some explinations)
In the world of Push certain people have mental abilities. There are Sniffers - who can see visions of what people have done by smelling things.
There are those who can 'push' - They can make people believe or do anything as long as they can see them.
Of course there are the people who can see into the future.
There are people who can 'temporarily' change one item into another. Like a blank piece of paper into money, or such. Has to be the right size and shape however.
Screamers.. who well scream. Like a sonic attack. Not sure what exactly they have to do with anything.
People who can move things with their minds.
It stars Dakota Fanning, not exactly my favorite actress.
It has some action, but overall... I say pass on it.
X-Men Origins
Deadpool is lame. Some decent parts but overall not one of the best X-men movies. *SPOILER at end of post, you have been warned*
Monsters vs Aliens
Yes, it is made for kids but it was better then the other two COMBINED. It was fun, silly, and had some action in it. I loved it.
*Spoiler for X-men*!!!!
Deadpool has dozens of mutant's powers and uses maybe 4?!?!?

Saw Up a few days ago, it's extremely cute. One of the better cartoons lately methinks. It has quite some cool random humor and social satire which make you survive the sad bits.

Quote: I saw the movie "Taken" and I was impressed. It's a movie about a retired special agent who is struggling to regain a relationship with his daughter (the couple is divorced) after spending so many years hardly ever being at home. The daughter goes off on a trip to Paris and gets kidnapped by a certain group of people. The father pursues her and goes lawlessly ape**** on everything in his path. It's a lot like James Bond, except it doesn't suck. Worth the watch.
I had to dig that one up. I watched it as well recently and holy **** I was at the edge of my seat most of the time xD. Absolutely awesome movie both action and story wise.
GO WATCH IT NOW!

In other news I stumbled across the trailer for Prince of Persia. And it's your generic action-adventure movie: End of the world-hero with powerful artifact-bad guys summoning a demon to destroy the world-a revealing woman being all "tough" and "sarcastic" while getting the same "tough" and "sarcastic" lines from the protagonist who OF COURSE falls in love with her.
All you have to do is make a lot of money with a game and you'll get a movie. This looks so bad...(graphic wise it doesn't actually). I wonder how many copies of H6 everyone of us has to buy in order to get it to go movie.

Was dragged to Saw 6 yesterday. The biggest piece of crap I've ever seen. Now my buddy wears a black eye and owes me a beer 'tower'.
Six different directors, six pieces of worthless crap some call a horror movie. Bleh.

Woaw... either you have a whimp for a friend or he REALLY likes you. What the hell man? You punched him hard enough to give him a black eye?!... because you saw a bad movie? That's... pretty unbalanced.

I have... slight anger management problems. As I learned today, it was an experiment to see my reaction. Well it's clearly visible on my bud's left side of his face nice blackish purple tones.
And I'm pretty sure who is behind it.
But at least he promised me a beer tower to make up for it.
