Quote: I was actually wondering what's that movie. I thought I had never seen it but in fact, in France, it has a completely different name "Les évadés"
I liked it. now I understand why you compare it with the green line, they are both a nice change to the usual cliché of a prison.
But don't you think stories about prison SHOULD be desperate and oppressive? I don't know, like "the last castle", "escape from alcatraz" or the manga, "shamo"?
I don't know, it's not like I've seen a lot of good prison movies. I do think, however, you do something fundamentally wrong when you make it seem like a nice place.

maybe the authors just think it's the way a prison should be.
if the guardians have as much humanity as their prisonners, how can they make them become better?

Just watched Unearthed (apparently known as Deep Fear over here)
Pretty scary movie, totally worth the 3$ I spent on it.
Other movies I bought today were Anamorph, Bank Job and Dawn of the Dead (new version). Watched Dawn of the Dead before but I just had to buy it when it was so cheap.

I am looking for a movie from which I have short memories of as a child.
It is not a childrens film but it features kids with like psychic or supernatural powers.
My strongest memory of this movie is of achild that had like no face or atleast no mouth and that screamed reaaaaaaalllllly loud so things got destroyed.
I also think some science facility was in the movie and that the children were kept there or something but I am not sure at all on that part.
I google everything and can't seem to find this movie.

Yeah, it sounds a lot like the last x-men movie (the last one of the trilogy)
And, by the way, xerox, you're not at liberty to say "when I was a kid."

Oh, by the way:
Saw shutter island recently. It was good seeing Jackie Earle Haley being employed. Also, the plot wasn't stellar, but the execution was excellent.

I saw Master and Commander again, and man that is such a sweet movie. I love it's mellow style; the way they have battle in the beginning and then they go on like a 1 hour tangent just messing around, and then they go back to fighting. I wish they had more movies on the Napoleonic War.

Just saw Salt because I loved the trailer ("THEN YOU'RE A RUSSIAN SPY!") which makes me want to learn Russian now so I can tell people... watch out, I am a russian spy, I can activate in any minute.
So Salt. I expected the movie to be another boring action movie with the exact same scenes. And it even surpsied me.
It was really good! The plot is interesting and makes you think like what the trailer says, "Who is Salt?".
I love twists and Salt has quite a few of them. However the movie has two problems. PLOT. HOLES.
Seriously. I can not count how many times I asked myself "How did she get there", "What happened to those", "How did she get that" etc. Also the fight scenes and stunts are sometimes like really unrealistic. I understand that she is supposed to be a really skilled agent but she makes infilitrating the most secure places look like child play. Also there is obviously going to be a sequel so lets hope its good.
Summary: Angelina is amazing in this movie and she kind of looks like my old english teacher. The action is good though sometimes unrealistic. The movie is not like 99% action, not at all. The plot is very deep and makes you think though not on the same level as let's say Shutter Island.
So if you like an intelligent action movie though can endure some plot holes and unrealistic scenes, then I really think you will enjoy Salt. Plus Angelina is there. Seriously, I can not see ANY fault with her acting or looks or anything.
Salt gets one happy smilies, one suprised smiley and one "hmm" smiley. That is 3.5 stars out of 5 or 7 out of 10.
A theme of the movie is russian spies and is it true that you can activate a person and then it will follow orders? O.o
I don't get how that worked.

Maybe "...action movie but endure some plot holes and unrealistic scenes..." would have been easier.

your english is pretty impressive for a 15 years old guy. you don't find many people that good in english in France. especially at that age.
Quote: A theme of the movie is russian spies and is it true that you can activate a person and then it will follow orders?
not sure what you mean. but you can definitely condition someone so that he will follow any orders. especially if you start when he is a child and keep total control on him. then you can turn him into a true robot.

Quote: I don't get what's wrong with this sentence. -.-
"So if you like an intelligent action movie though can endure some plot holes and unrealistic scenes, then I really think you will enjoy Salt. "
(1) Beginning a sentence with "so" when used as a conjunction is rather awkward. Better to use "Therefore" or "Thus", with a comma.
(2) "Though" is not a conjunction. Clearly you mean "and".
(3) Although not strictly necessary, it's good to use a "you" in front of "can".
(4) The movie title should ideally be in quotes or italicized.
Your sentence should read: "Therefore, if you like an intelligent action movie and you can endure some plot holes and unrealistic scenes, then I really think (that) you will enjoy "Salt".
A more significant problem is whehter or not a movie which contains plot holes and unrealistic scenes is properly adjectivized as "intelligent". But I guess that's a matter of opinion.

Angelina Jolie is a sack of **** actress. Her movies are low-IQ, corny, and reek of the same vibes you get when watching MTV (a pop music/celebrity channel in the States): shallow and sensationalized.
I'm not ever giving Salt a chance unless I happen to stumble upon it on a the TV sometime and I'm bored. I'm already 99% certain what the movie is going to be like: Angelina Jolie is going to go around looking like a fashion model while simultaneously being an extremely intelligent agent and beating the crap out of males twice her weight left and right. It will be retarded.
