I thought to start a thread called NTF(Never said to do that,so do not worry,it is not stolen),some long time ago,and first I thought to make a thread where to choose the best ideas.The thread was named "NEW TOWNS AND UNITS IDEAS" it ishere and in you will find awesome ideas about new towns.You can find a cool "guide" here.
P.S.Can I be the main ideator(that means) town interior artwork designer and inventor town type names and town IDs) of the NTF team?

Yes why not ? The more we have artist, the more we have facilities to create the 3D models ! You're welcome ! OK for the artworks but I think it is the majority that have the right to choose the name of the town.

Thanks TSoD.I am glad to help you.And...if the team needs medieval armor and helm textures or pictures for future projects,simply post a quote to one of the following lines:
Armors:
Nordic Armors-Cuir Bouilli,Banded Armor.
Chainmail-Mail Shirt,Mail with Surcoat(needs to tell the surcoat colour colour),Hauberk,Haubergeon,Haubergeon over Robe,Mail with tabard(needs to tell the tabard colour colour)
Plate-Black Armour,Plate Armour(needs to tell if needs any symbols),Plate over leather,Coat of Plates.
Leather-Leather Vest,Padded leather.
Helms:
Nordic Helms-Nordic Helm.
Medieval Helms-Crusader Helm,Jousting Helm,Black helm,Winged Great Helm,Great helm,Crowned Helm,Horned Black Helms,Horned Jousting Helm,Nasal Helm,Bascinets.

TSoD, your lizard is really nice!

About me, NCF is just the easiest step of NTF
I cannot wait to know about the town stuffs, buildings and heroes!

right but I don't understand why begining with creatures.

no doubt, a lot of difficulty will happen with the other steps, all we have NCF experience so none of problem in this side.
about me, it's better to attack other steps to crush problems from now.

You are totally right. But in waiting for people, what can I do ? I search for hours to hex-edit the game to add the faction but I'm completely a noob in that. And at the moment I can't import static models in the game from my PC and then have to wait for Psatkha to help me once more -_- Si as i can't import anything in 3D, I even can't begin to test towns interios arena descs and so on... I'm completely stucked, I suck, and I hate that -_-...

Anyone who have already touch to towns can at least begin by creating XDBs tree for the "Ziggurat"?

ok, but for the first town, why not using already existing model towns as Preserve
and apply on transparences textures as NCF, changing water by swamp, retouch the skybox etc,

just to get more experience for next one.

then it will be possible to change special buildings on it in same time too.
for the model dwellings, surely we can use model of all other objects and use it into the town.

about hex-edit, don't touch to it for now, stay concentrate on the town and don't be anxious with this detail.

I'm just giving my opinons!

No,his hands are very original.If you ask me,a glove in a lizard's hand would look just like that.I didn't like one thing:The yellow cloth.Thow it is a good colour,it does not fits to the lizardman.It would have been better if you would colour it with purple or brown.The lizardman head needs also a bit of work.As for the yellow on the head it is not necessary.
P.S. I will be trying to work with the lizard marksman(i think it must be his upgrade or his alternative.

@SimonaK : yes, why not... We can still add totally new models for the dwellings in using the sylve arena description... modify a bit the tree of the center (but to make what ?)... what do the others think ?

@Lord_Immortal : yes I hesitated for the colour. But we will see that later, it's only a test view
Yes we'll only reskin the body but only leave the head for lizard parts. I colored it in blue, like in H3 (but again testing view!):

ok, if we're talking just a moment about heroes quantity.
heroes quantity is unlimited in the exe, so we can add the quantity we want for any faction

but I suggest 8 heroes as originaly other factions?
4 males, 4 females.....

what you think of?

of course!

about town and heroes specialities, choices is not big caused by TOWN_ID and HERO_CLASS_ID limits.

as artifacts, when we add new artifacts on the game then it is not possible giving to them other abilities than heroes stats from
« Artifacts.xdb »

that is the same thing about a new town...so, if already the choices are not big for speciality of the first new one
then imagine for the second one.

for now, I suggest to give to this faction, the logistic skill as primary skill caused by swamp.

that's meaning, the heroes don't have an absolute competence but a good creature weeklygrowth
to balance with that and a weak magic guild.

here a firts example of the Buildings:

Common
Tavern, Resource Silo, Marketplace, BlackSmith, Shipyard

Village Hall, Town Hall, City Hall, Capitol, Fort, Citadel, Castle
Magic Guild level 1, 2, 3

Dwelling Building 1 to 7 and upgrades

Special
Stable, Black Market, Mystic Pond, Sacrificial Pit

....

for now, this town has the smaller quantity of building.

ohh and about the skillwheel of the heroes of this faction:

Heroes will be able to learn Spell Skills and Spell Shatter Skills as well!

I don't understand all heroes and town xdb trees for the moment so either someone tell me how to proceed (which xdb to create/edit,...) either we will loose a great part of time... Sim how are you able to tell this ? you understand the heroes xdb ?

just adding the new class and linking to it common skills being able to get with it.
So yes spell and shatter can be mixed together without troubles.
