question- Does basilisk look like H3 one or like harry potter one(cuz that would be lame)?
Also, ive been thinking of making a map(Large, because impossible makes most computers barf.)/campaign and maybe, if its not that much work, i can work them in to make them a proper introduction.
I have a rough type draft already and could post it later on.

a more advanced idea of line up. the stats may be imba, they are essentially here to give an idea of the orientation of the creature (offensive, defensive, balanced)
it is quite a slow faction, with little firepower. they will mostly rely on weakening the enemies and preventing them from acting thanks to their special abilities.

OK for all, even for the good order of the creatures
But not the siren (we have already found another creature and it does not really fit in this swamp-jungle-maya town :s)
So we should have :
Gnolls
Lizards
Coatls-Quetzacoatls-Wild Coatls
Jaguars
Medusas-Medusa Queens-Gorgons
Coatl Riders
Basilisks
For abilities, it is very good
Only this so :
Quote: Lvl 1 : Gnoll (Bash / Bash, Set snares / Bash, Steal ammo)
HP 6, Dam 1 - 3, ini 10, speed 4, growth 16
HP 8, Dam 2 - 3, ini 11, speed 5, growth 16
HP 7, Dam 2 - 3, ini 10, speed 6, growth 16
Lvl 2 : Lizard (Shooter / Shooter, Great Shield / Shooter, Weakening strike)
HP 11, Dam 1 - 2, ini 10, speed 4, growth 14
HP 17, Dam 1 - 3, ini 10, speed 4, growth 14
HP 14, Dam 2 - 3, ini 11, speed 4, growth 14
Lvl 3 : Coatls
???
???
???
Lvl 4 : Jaguar (Enraged, Brutality / Enraged, Cleave, Enraged, Agility, Leap / Enraged, Cleave, Fast attack)
HP 30, Dam 6 - 10, ini 12, speed 5, growth 5
HP 45, Dam 6 - 10, ini 13, speed 4, growth 5
HP 35, Dam 8 - 10, ini 12, speed 6, growth 5
Lvl 5 : Gorgon (Torpor, Horror of the death / Torpor, Horror of the death, Caster (Implosion, Stone skin, Weakness) / Torpor, Horror of the death, Shooter, No melee penalty
HP 90, Dam 9 - 12, ini 9, speed 4, growth 3
HP 100, Dam 10 - 14, ini 10, speed 5, growth 3
HP 90, Dam 9 - 12, ini 9, speed 4, growth 3
Lvl 6 : Coatl rider (Flyer, Lizard bite / Flyer, Lizard bite, Champion charge / Flyer, Lizard bite, Venom or Lava breath (whatever works with lizard bite))
HP 90, Dam 15 - 30, ini 10, speed 7, growth 2
HP 100, Dam 20 - 30, ini 11, speed 8, growth 2
HP 110, Dam 15 - 30, ini 11, speed 8, growth 2
Lvl 7 : Basilisk (Vorpal blade, Frightful aura / Vorpal blade, Frightful aura, Bear roar / Vorpal blade, Frightful aura, Frightful presence)
HP 200, Dam 40 - 60, ini 10, speed 5, growth 1
HP 220, Dam 40 - 70, ini 11, speed 6, growth 1
HP 240, Dam 40 - 60, ini 10, speed 7, growth 1
I've removed nothing, only changed order of stats and skills of several creature. And like this we can keep a kind of homogeny : fierce creatures that are great attackers for first upgrade ; sneaky and fast creatures for the second upgrade.

Sirens are sea creatures, while there are similar creatures that would indeed fit in a swampland, they do not fit well with this faction's overall theme- civilized tribals.
As for ghost model, sure we are thinking of the same creature? Not the winged singing maidens on sea cliffs?

I don't know, because it seems some abilities are marked in red, so there's no order change there. Anyway, I don't like the "Dwarves orientation", you know, a lot of imba things in order to make the faction interesting. A couple of examples, a level 5 and 6 with 100HP or a implosioner caster

the hydra has 125 HP.
and the medusa which can shoot has 10 HPs more than the cleric, because it is a big creature and is easy to block.
implosion at a low level is not much stronger than lightning bolt.
gnolls might be a bit strong, but they were already in h3 (best stats for a level 1 after centaurs and pikemen) in another hand, they aren't so fast.
I actually hesitated to make the lizard almost identical to zombies, but slightly weaker. but I thought mephitic aura wouldn't be very useful, so I thought the 2nd upgrade could use a camouflage to be hard to spot from a long distance.
jaguars are the warrior type creature. agility + leap combo may be kinda imba, but maybe not...
I imagined the medusas like euryale from god of war who is huge and can crush a man with his tail, so she is slow but as lots of HPs. implosion because it is a earth spell. could be a special petrifying attack.
coalt riders are a bit like the paladins, but slightly weaker because they can fly.
basilisks may be somewhat weak compared to a black dragon, but they have very strong abilities which will cause many enemies stacks to skip their turns.

cant see it. anyway my progress so far(made with this in mind)
These are the current candidates(note that dungeon is missing)
I didnt originaly make it for the homm5 universe, but i was thinking of making a map using the H5 editor.
Here it is-
The planet <name>(referred to as kronus atm), beset on all sides by the tides of war. This peaceful planet became a savage battlefield ,7 armies clashed on this one world , each refusing to back down, each convinced it was in the right.
< 1 Haven>
The Red Army had come to Kronus to chase down the last remnants of the elven rebels, when they had witnessed the diabolical intent of the creatures that nested in its bowels they started a fierce cleansing campaign.
-
Saint Angelos had pursued the elven rebels for decades on end, Floods, thunder storms, avalanches his forces moved onward,(working)
< 2 Haven>
The Elves poured forth from theyre forest portals and the last human remnants were the first to pick up on theyre arrival. If Humanity was to be brought down to its knees, it would not be the easy way OR The broken village of Stoneholm was the only thing in theyre way.
-
The scattering of the humans had taken place long ago, when memory of the Stone Gods had faded into the sand. No one was sure if they had survived, or even if they had ever existed. A string of crude settlements still lingered on the lush fields and dense forests of Kronus. When the strange creatures of <name> arrived on the scene a mysterious old seer stepped out of the shadow to stop these terrible powers in theyre tracks.
< 3 Haven>
Hounded by the merciless forces of evil, The Old Order fell back to Kronus to regroup theyre forces and strike back at the hateful fiends.
-
< 1 Sylvan, related to Haven 1>
The Elves defeat was close at hand, but through some lucky throw of fate the elves escaped.
Now they seek to conquer Kronus to make way for a new force in the world.
-
It had been a long hard campaign for the elven forces, The combined force of both the harsh winter and The Red Armies continued asaults had pushed the elves back to a last stand in the Gorthak pass.
Scores of Red Amry troops descended upon them. The Druids called on the forces of nature to save them.
<god name> heard the plee of the elves and granted them passage to Kronus.
Pulling back through the portal, the Red Army chased the fleeing elves but the portal disappeared, as soon as it had come into being.
< 2 Sylvan related to Haven 2 and 3, also Undead 1>
Old portals, long standing and covered in the scars of the elements, flickered back to life to reveal a host of soldiers, ready to fight theyre deathless enemies.
-
<Undead 1 Related to Sylvan 2>
From the swamps of Krouns came the Necroth, ancient spirits of the dead seeking to take vengance on the living as much as those at peace.
Or
A green haze heralded the coming of the war. Deathless armies roved across the murky swamps of Kronus, howling for blood to be spilled.
<Undead 2 related to Haven 3>
The Death Bearers descended on Kronus, darkening the skies as they did so. Hundreds of comets rained down upon its surface, a tidal wave of ash following in theyre wake.
<Orcs 1>
Like a sea of mud, the orc horde washed up on the shores of Krouns, caring little for others claims and sowing destruction in its wake.
-
The warboss <name> had gathered the orcs for a masive conquest of <Planet>. This action caused a considerable lack of confidence from one of his lieutenants. With Kronus a much more viable battleground, <name> and several other orcs overthrew the warboss while the whole fleet of orcish boats were on the move. Directing the orcs to a sea portal, <name> had achieved the impossible. He had taken control of an army deadly enough to conquer Kronus.
<Dwarf 1>
Last and perhaps most to be feared came the Dwarves, seeing scores of belligerent races at the doorsteps of madness, they sent theyre elite soldiers and zealous rune priests to undertake a great purge..
-
In order to protect the land that is rightfully theires the mountain lords sent ambassadors to negotiate neutrality in the conflict. When the head of the ambassador was hung over the kings halls it was considered as an invitation into the conflict. Without further preamble Fort Thunder was up and running. <name> arrived shortly after to supervise the army and lead a campaign that would finish the war, one way or the other.
<Academy 1>
First came the mages, the shadow of theyre massive sky ship plunging the deserts of Kronus into darkness. In search of knowledge the mages claimed Kronus as a study ground for theyre many experiments.
-
Grand Expeditioner, <name>, came to Kronus in search of one of the greatest treasure of all. The Sword of (working)
<Inferno 1>
(not sure)
---
A Dark Crusade had begun, it could only end with the total victory of one of these factions, and the total defeat of all others.

Good ideas
And the level 3 magic guild ! Much more details, another building !
What do you think of it ?
NB : Statues are crocodiles with joined hands, as they would be prayers.
EDIT :
here is the level 4 magic guild :
No, the simple planes you can see under the gateway between the two buildings for example aren't flags We are not in the Haven ^^ It will be lianas falling from the stone blocks, like these ones :
So it increases the feeling of jungle-maya-based town
Changements lvl3 -> lvl 4 : 3-leveled main building. "Stoves" replace the crocodiles statues at building lvl 2, and fires burn in them (like the stronghold city). Crocodiles are smaller now, and reported at the top of the building. Added lianas. Added "foothills" on the second building. Added little pyramids on the second building.

I don't know why you're even beginning to think about campaigns. Do you have any idea how long they actually take to create? Look at Tales of Karador, there's an example.
There's some weird idea out there that every faction needs to be accompanied by a campaign. I never understood it. In Heroes I to III there's no such thing, you alternate between factions in a broader storyline without confining yourself to one monotonous set of creatures for 5-6 maps. The same principle exists in the Zehir and Ylaya campaigns from H5.

Tsod what do you upload you images with?
Creature:Basilisk
One of the biggest misfortunes that could ever occur to you is stepping on a behemoth nest. They are very bad tempered, and if you are the target of theyre bad temper, Run for the bushes. Basilisk have luminescent eyes, a very intimidating sight indeed.
The taming process has required many tries indeed, 9683 to be precise.
The first step is to steal a basilisk hatch-ling. 4891 failed concerning this step.
For a Basilisk hatch-ling to grow it needs a steady dose of mercury in its food. The mercury is absorbed by the teeth of the basilisk and broken down into essential chemicals not found anywhere else in nature. A certain amount of mercury is withheld in the teeth of the basilisk, making them the deadliest poison of all time. When a basilisk dies its fangs release the mercury that had still remained in theyre fangs, causing local plant-life to shrivel and die.
Resource silo idea: Tie six basilisk fangs together and suspend them using a wooden frame, place a basin type thing beneath them.
Resource silo now makes mercury
ALSO my vision for the third upgrade of jaguar.
Has a visor like This except its made of metal and slightly wider and with a small red cloth hanging of them.
Claws made of metal(like this) but shorter.
light metal pads on the sides.
