Don't complain about stats people, when you don't pick Enlightment ! It's obvious the Enlighted hero will have much higher stats 
In fortress vs inferno, inferno comes out on top of course... starting with teleport was a bad ideea , but anyway Biara gated like crazy!

I checked that Arcane Armor issue. You can't steal it with Rune of Magic Control. This is the big advantage of that spell - no counter ( maybe except some 2500 implosion ).
Inferno wins, no doubt.

I think that I was a victor as well. Bania had a great start with those lucky attacks/stuns but after gating was done and I started to debuff/seduce him he started to loose it. No to mention that inferno has the worst chances with Fortress.
Jesus I just checked the replay and some of my moves... It was certainly too late...

Actually I think Inferno has pretty good (if not the best actually) chances against Fortress if you survive the initial rune-onslaught decently. Why would you say that they have the worst chances?

Not the best for sure, as that spot goes to Orcs of course  , but along with Necro and Sylvan, Inferno is in 2nd-4th depending on luck

Lol. Thunder Thanes placed in the middle + Battle Rage + lucky ATB = Inferno is history. Gating became dangerous with Battlerage present. Im glad that Light popped up since curses would do nothing versus Rune of Exorcism on his side. What advantage does inferno have ? Mark of the damned ? Extraordinary defense stats? Maybe only seducing has some worth here.

In my opinion this part was decided. Inferno with a lot of gate units and bettter mass spells. Archdevils with regeneration. No doubt about the score.

Huge stats compared to your opponents in almost all the games ... you either had the best of the best arties and luck, or somehow you cheated

Stats were good because I've made sets of artifacts-huge amount of money spared in the shops. With academy -2 to speed cause 2 rings of caution.
As I remember-dungeon after levelling 3 defence, +2 from arena, +3 from edge of balance, +3 from dragon shield, +1 bonus from dragon set=12

In the first one you went light on him Arcax. Some painful chains in third game, maybe if you had luck. But in final game what's with ignoring kshatras? Should have attacked with dancers and follow up with dragons. Unupgraded unicorns lol.
Congratulations to bania the noob champion Just kidding, you did well mate.
There is but one last thing before this tournament is concluded. The Losers Cup is running and it's going to be a furious battle to the best of 10 with Zenithale 
The first game was his retribution/light/defense dungeon against my necro's decay/ignite combo. And.. we both had 14-15 spellpower. Nice way to kick off a losers cup

Zenithale vs Elvin (best of ten - and first to 10)
First game: Dungeon for me vs Necropolis. I had Destru, which was a big mistake with only 14 in SP. Mass Decay + Ignite were very bad for me. Close game anyway.
Second game: Inferno for me vs Academy. Again Mass Decay was painful, regeneration on Titans as well. IMO my Defense was really too low (2). Close game again.
Thrid game: Dungeon for me vs Dwarfs. This one I'm really disapointed! I thought I had ALL the things for an easy victory and I was just slaughtered... Runes of Magic Immunity + Magic resistance + Dwarwen luck + Rune of Resurrection + Resurrection spell + huge moral and luck... enough. 
4th game: Necro for me vs Inferno. I tried an experimental build, with Seal of Darkness + Pendant of confluence. It could be funny but vermins were too much. Btw I made a big mistake during this game, casting Mass slow just before his turn... I could have more chance with skeleton archers, for sure.
Now it's 0 - 4 for Elvin  I'm in trouble!
Only 2 wins and he will win the first challenge (best to 10).

Second was closer than I thought, considering that I had the right spells and favourable hero atb. After I attempted the puppet things got tight, it was mainly a mass casting match. Inferno proved pretty resilient with all I threw at them
The third game was.. unnatural. That dungeon had dwarven-like toughness and if not for relative luck with my runes and resistance I would be pretty afraid. It's discouraging when you cannot kill the opponent, especially one that traditionally falls like flies.
Last one was outstanding, I was certain that my seal of darkness and hasted syphon and my hero acting second would seal the game early on but zenithale's seal of darkness/pendant of conflux combo kept replenishing his mana faster than I expected  Funny thing was he also had weapons of might set, man his lower tiers were a pain to deal with. Kudos for managing to make such a hopeless battle so challenging.
