The Doctor smiled and nodded toward Eight who looked at the skinny man for orders. Then the soldier stepped twice and struck toward Vlads head, starting with a cross and sharply adjusting into a left hook. Both missed, but a knee caught Vlad in the reinforced rib cage, sending him staggering backward but not really hurt in any way. Eight went into a retro MMA stance, ready for Vlads move.
"Not failures, and not perfections. Eight is perfect." the Doctor said, smiling, waiting to see the effect of Vlads strikes. The russian didn't know the Doctor had taken a part of Kane's regeneration powers, giving them to his own personal soldier.

Vlad got up and without hesitation mauled Eight into head. He was perfected indeed, as this blow could have easily killed a lesser man. Eight was knocked down, but got up pretty quick. Vlad continued to attack his opponent, leaving little chance to retaliate. Vlad mauled him again this time hitting in the temporal bone with his elbow. it shook the freshly baked super soldier, and Vlad hitted him in the same place again. The oponent was worthy of Vlad, as the hit he received in the chest had still some stinging felling left in Vlad. Vlad decided to finish him off with a well placed kick in the head.

Eight felt the kick and went down, but thanks to the reduced brain and reinforced skull it didn't knock him out. The soldier staggered to his feet and attacked at once, unleashing a hail of punches and kicks. He knocked the old supersoldier off his feet, but it didn't leave much damage still. The soldier was up quickly, which surprised the Doctor. This new version was supposed to be an upgrade of the old supersoldier, why couldn't he take him down easily?
"That is enough." the Doctor said, stepping in between the two. Eight took three steps back, and then froze as if falling asleep while still standing.
"Very well indeed Vladimir, I look forward to working with you. Now, step out the door behind me, and never return here. I will contact you when I need your services."

Vlad left without saying a word. whoever the target was, he or she would be in for a tough fight. Vlad sat into his Volga and drove off to JV's chop shop. There, he found the work carrying on as usual. He entered JV's office and found him working on some documents.
- So, how's the guy I sent to you?
- Fine I guess. a grumpy old man who has a hobby to build things. asked for some weird parts. None of my business what he needed them for. I just deliver. Also your parts just arrived.
- Good. Deliver them to my warehouse.
Vlad exited the office and went home.

Redfox walked into Louis' wondering where exactly he should go. A waiter came by him and he told the waiter about the reservation with a certain Manfred Von Drake. Redfox soon arrived at the table and sat down while ordering some port wine.
He then turned his attention to Manfred and said, "I'm sorry for being late, I had to-"
Redfox was then cut off by his cellphone ringing. It was a closed call on a secure line so he assumed that one of his contacts from the underground was trying to reach him.
Redfox smiled and said, "One minute, please."
He then answered his phone. "Hello, this is Redfox."
Sidewinder grinned on the other line, "Cut the Redfox crap, Xion, this is Sidewinder. I am not trying to create an enmity or anything of the sort between us. I, well...we need your help."
Xion frowned on the other side, "And what do you need help with?"
"You remember Morte, correct?"
Xion's eyes flared up in rage, but soon went back to its natural calm. "How can I not?"
"Well, apparently, Morte seems to be alive, but we, meaning me, Zero's servant, Geoffrey, and Raphael, a darkness manipulator under Zero's service, believe that Zero may have let him live deliberately to help him produce all sorts of gadgets and gizmos. According to the evidence Geoffrey has found, Zero may have actually made Morte create some sort of nanobot that is able to emulate the powers of supers like us. Even more disturbing is the fact that Morte has been able to reanimate dead supers, bending them to his control. Whatever the case, we must find Morte, stop him, and find out any other information we may need to take down Zero."
"That is quite a mouthful..." replied Xion, deep in thought, "I'll contact you later so then we can arrange a place for us all to meet, but if you are to defeat someone reanimated by nanobots, fists and guns we be of little use, you'll need something or someone that can completely destroy the body and the nanobots. Anyways, I've said too much, I'll talk to you later, hero."
Xion ended the call and then put his phone back in his pocket, saying to Manfred, "My apologies again, work always has me busy. Now how may I help you?"

"Hello Mr. Redfox," Rex said with a smarmy smile.
"I seem to recall we have some unfinished business with one-another." Rex took a sip from his wine.
"If I remember correctly you owe me 2 UYG-6 controll modules. On top of that, there was this little hostile take-over you were planning. Wasn't there? You seemed to want my help with that."
Then David returned with two menu cards and a glass of Port for Redfox.
"Here you go, gentlemen. I will return shortly to take your orders."
Rex opened the menu and glanced over the food.

Kane snapped a neck and walked on toward the security guards room, pulling forth his sniper rifle. It was a special model with a way larger clip than what was normal. He kicked the door open and smiled to the guards, blasting one head off and kicking the other guard across the room. Then he sat down watching the monitors, watching Infernos movement.

Inferno went through the house looking for signs of Redfox everywhere. Anyone that got in his way was turned to ash. Then when he was about to give up, he saw something on a computer.
"A date? No...an appointment at some place called Louis' with a Manfred Von Drake." thought Inferno to himself. "I didn't come all this way to only come up with nothing!"
Inferno then walked out of the house, then paused, turned around and yelled, "Kane! I'm taking your car, I'll return the favor at some point!"
Meanwhile, at Louis'...
Redfox sipped his port and then said,"Ah, yes, those. Unfortunately, I do not have those with me, but rest assured that you shall receive them. Now about the hostile take-AHHH!!!"
Inferno had burst in and grabbed Redfox by his neck and slammed him against the wall. "WHERE IS XION!"
"Wha, what?" replied Redfox, unsure of what's going on.
"YOU HEARD ME YOU PIECE OF SH*T! NOW ANSWER ME!" repeated Inferno, his hands turning red, about to burst into flames.

Kane looked out the window at his car driving away, shaking his head. "That little sod." he murmured, then laughed a bit.
He left then, finding another car and going to a cheap motel.

Rex did not expect Inferno tonight. But then Rex prepare for threats. "Shame I did not bring my guard." Rex murmured to himself.
Calmly he got up and took his Pistol(Blue one, remember) out of his waistcoat. Inferno was pretty occupied with roughing up Redfox, so he payed Rex little heed.
Rex put the gun's muzzle at the point the point where the spine meets the head and audibly cocked it.
"Right, now let the nice man go, boy. Or I may have to do something you'll regret." Rex said with a contemptuous and patronising voice.
"And don't tempt my triggerfinger. We would not want to make a mess now."

Rex repositioned the thumb on his mechanical hand, so it was directly opposite to the two fingers. He put his hand on Inferno's shoulder and clamped down hard. Rex could hear the bones creaking under the pressure of his vice-grip. Inferno winced a little from the pain, but he was putting on a brave face.
"Leave now and I'll give you a hand with your quest when we're done having dinner." Rex winked to Redfox. Whisperingly he added:"Before I crush your bones into a splintery paste"

Inferno heated up a little bit, but he then gave up and released Redfox saying, "Next time, I will not be so relenting."

Rex escorted Inferno out, not releasing his shoulder untill they were out of the building. The fact that Inferno's body was giving off heat like an oven did not bother Rex one bit. He was holding him with his mechanical hand which was made of a tempered alloy, originally desinged to handle acidic fluid.
"Now stay put, I'll come round when I'm done with Mister Redfox. And don't go making messes around here. If it is revenge you're after, your best bet is to keep a low profile." Rex said to Inferno.
When Rex return in the restaurant area he was met with a polite applause. After all, he had just run out the newfound super-criminal Inferno. Rex recieved it with a slightly arrogant graciousness.
Rex returned to his table and picked up the menu again.
As soon as he sat down, David the waiter came to his table.
"Louis' staff and guests would like to thank you Mr. Von Drake. You've saved us from a lot of potential dammage, your dinner will be on the house."
"Oh, it was nothing, realy. But I would like to order now. I'll have the St-John scallops with Fennel as my appetizer and the marrinated rib-eye as the main course."
Rex turned his attention to Redfox again.
"So, we were discussing out business proposal."

Police were beginning to close in on Inferno as Redfox said to Rex, "Ah, yes, Rex. That was quite...surprising. Anyways...what's that noise?"
Outside, people were roaring at Inferno in anger, throwing things at him and cursing him vehemently as police were trying to apprehend him and keep the mob of people at bay as well. Inferno merely stood there, surrounding himself with scorching blue fire. Because the police could not get to him with being into a pile of ash, the firefighters came along too. Inferno saw this and increased the size of his flame making ash encircle him closely. Then he closed his eyes and waited to see if what he thought would happen will happen.
The bursts of water came at him from all directions, creating immense amounts of steam. Eventually the steam stopped and the fire was gone. Inferno now looked like a massive dark blue piece of obsidian. However, the rock was contorted so that it looked like it was generally going upwards like Inferno's flame. Somehow the water stuck on massive layers of ash onto him and cooled him off quickly, creating some sort of blue obsidian layer on him. Whatever the case, Inferno had been defeated by the common peace keepers of New Constantinople.

Kane watched the tv and shook his head in amazement. "The kid managed to get himself into trouble anyway. Man, the Doctor ain't going to be happy 'bout this."
He stood up and walked out of the room, feeling the blade Zero had given him resting inside his pants in the secret inside-pocket. At least he would make sure Zero didn't get hold of Inferno's remains, whatever he could do to it.
He heard a voice in his ear, shaking with rage. "You left him? You were to watch over the kid, you worthless worm!" then he felt a shock run through his head and he almost fell to one knee. The Doctor had destroyed the communication, he were on the angel of death's blacklist.
"This ain't good." he growled, searching for a car to hijack.

It felt like years in that cold, dark prison that had imprisoned Inferno. However, over time he felt his fiery power seep back into him. The first thing he melted off was the hard rock layer over his eyes. He then stopped the flame when he was able to look out. There were people, and policemen, and firefighters. The people were cheering the policemen and firefighters.
"They think they have won, have they?" thought Inferno to himself. Then he discreetly melted off some of the rock over his mouth so that he could talk, but had it made in a likeness of jagged teeth and sharp fangs. He moved on, slowly melting away parts of the layer above his face so that it created a contorted representation of a human face. The rock around his joints was loosened as well, allowing him to move freely.
When he felt that his new armor was ready for him to fight with he then said aloud so that all could hear him in a gravely voice affected by fire and ash within his lungs, "My turn."
Fire then burst from his eye sockets, which didn't affect him as he could see through it just fine. His joints then turned to a noticeable deep red color from heat as his obsidian hands burst into flames.
Inferno then charged at the people, crushing and burning all in his path. He didn't kill them out of necessity or harm, but out of rage and hatred. Guns were fired at Inferno, but they did little to pierce the strong material that resembled dark blue obsidian and covered nearly all of Inferno's body. However protected Inferno was, he could not merely turn all of his victims to ash, or his armor would be lost, but unlike Inferno's previous kills, they didn't suffer the painless death of being turned to ash instantly, they died slowly from the wounds Inferno's mauling and burning caused.
Soon enough, Inferno was surrounded by the burnt and bloodied corpses of 63 people, as well as multiple destroyed objects within the vicinity. He then turned towards Louis' and yelled out angrily, "COME OUT REDFOX! IF YOU DO NOT TELL ME ABOUT XION, THEN YOUR DEATH SHALL HAVE TO SATE MY APPETITE!"

Vlad was watching a basketball game between two of his favourite teams, Kaunas Zalgiris and Moscow CSKA, when it was interrupted by a newsflash about Inferno wrecking havoc in the town.
- Jobtvajumat, I'm gonna miss the game!- He shouted, and went for a refill of beer.- Yet, this seems to be interesting. Let's see how far this will go.- Vlad watched closely, following the events near a jazz themed restaurant.

"Surprise nothing, if you cannot take care of yourself in our business you don't operate in it for over a decade. And don't mind outside, we're doing business now." Whisperingly he added: "And call me Manfred, we're two respectable businessmen at the moment, remember?"
Rex finished his wine.
"Your payment for the control-modules will be wired to you from the Main-Office in Turin once they arrive. But we're here to discuss that hostile takeover you were planning with the 'delightfull' Miss Ellsworth."

"Ah, yes." replied Redfox to Rex, "I'm sorry, it's been a long day. Anyways, yes, for the hostile takeover...you remember that I was just called before I was uhhh...attacked, correct? Well, apparently, not even Zero's own servants are following him anymore. They seem to be either following or using Sidewinder to investigate something about Zero. You see...according to them a scientist that goes by Morte is working with Zero...and has the capability to reanimate not only dead people, but their abilities as well. It seems that they are planning on investigating Morte, but they need my abilities because of my past history with the man, yet wish to talk to me about it in a more secure location. I'm not sure I would be interested in working with them, but it is still a hostile takeover is it not? Besides, I'm sure Morte will have plenty of interesting little machinations to interest you. We'll also have a chance to strike Sidewinder in the back at his moment of victory as well. What so you say about that? Now about Carrie, she has not been very responsive to me lately, so I will have to find a way to get in touch with her. Anyways, I've still been unable to contact Spe-"
