Kane rose slowly, having finally escaped the choke-hold but having his throat crushed in the process. He hoped the his regeneration was enough to heal it, but he guessed it was. It always proved to be enough. "I really need to start wearing better equipment..." he muttered to himself, as he scanned the room. Everyone was alive.
Then the Doctor-clone entered the room, dressed from top to bottom in bullet proof material. "The two of you really should learn to keep your word to those who are superior to you." he said, looking over at both Kane and Vlad. He moved out of the way with lightning speed as shots were fired at him. "Let's be sivile, at least for now." he said. "I can offer each and one of you a great amount of money to work for me instead of against me."
Kane shook his head in amazement. This guy really didn't give up. "No?" the Doctor asked, again evading a shot. "Then that's too bad for you."
Before Kane could react the Doctor was at him, smashing his head into a wall and pulling out a grenade in the process. "The Doctor really don't wish to let you go just yet." he hissed, as the grenade detonated. As the smoke disappeared they were both gone out of a hole in the wall, all in the blink of an eye.

The Doctor smiled up at the monitor. "Rex, how pleasant to see you." he rose and walked over to the beholders containing his growing clones. He could barely see in the light, but pressed his watch and an alarm went off with his employers upstairs. Code 8. The beholders were lifted up through the roof to ground level, where they would be taken to another safehouse.
"I it didn't hurt too much getting rid of the main part of the tracer." he said, his smile as fake as Pamela Andersons breasts. "If you think this puts a stop to anything I have planned you are sadly mistaken. I made sure the most important parts here were not hackable, not even electronic as a matter of fact."
He looked up at the face of his adversary. "I really wish we could work together, we would be a perfect match. We have such opposite skills we could rule better than even Zero and me. I guess that is out of the question now."
He looked up at the face. "Sad, don't you think?"

Sidewinder and Inferno nodded at each other and went upstairs along with the others.
"Now where is Kane?" said Ouroboros. He sniffed the air again and then continued. "We will not have to worry about him I think. Not for a while."
Meanwhile Inferno and Sidewinder looked all around the mansion. They then came to a door that was locked. The only one that was. Inferno burned the lock off and opened it. Inside sat a man in a stasis chamber. It was Zero, but without his mask on. They turned off the stasis chamber, and suddenly he was released. Zero took a deep breath and looked around ardently.
"Morte!" he yelled. He then looked at Sidewinder and said, "Morte, where is he? We need to find him before he harms anyone else!"
"Calm down! Morte is dead. Do not worry, Ouroboros took care of him." replied Sidewinder.
Zero's eyes widened and then he started to tear up. "No...it is over. He's come...he's come for me! Hook me up to the machine on the other wall. That's where Morte took my powers. I need to get them back if we are to stop him!"
Sidewinder and Inferno quickly did as he asked. Soon enough Zero felt rejuvenated and stronger. He then stood up and said, "I understand that I have been used by Morte to commit terrible crimes, but know that I did not orchestrate any of this. Morte needed you two when you both reach the peak of your potential power to steal your abilities and to further boost his power. He was planning something big. Something terrible, but now that he's gone we don't have to worry about him. We have a bigger problem now. Ouroboros is coming for me. He knows that only I know where it is."
"Where what is?" asked Inferno.
"The catalyst that gave the old heroes our powers. We were more powerful than the other ones that got their powers from a different source. It also explains how you two got powers that steadily grew in power. It is because you two are children of the old heroes. Terrence, you are the son of the hero Calamity. Your mother, I do not know. But, Inferno, I knew your parents well. Very well. So well that I have been labeled as your godfather. Your family is a foster family. Your real parents are Paladin and Solara, otherwise known as Harold and Jennifer Osymard."
"And Ouroboros?" asked Sidewinder as Inferno thought deeply about his heritage. "How did get his powers?"
"I don't know. Perhaps it was naturally. Whatever the case, he didn't start out with his control of time and space. He instead could infinitely steal other people's powers. However, before he could become too powerful, Morte and I made sure that he would not be able to do it again by taking his power using the catalyst. That is how Morte was able to steal powers. However, some part of Ouroboros' power remained, only enough to take on only one additional power at a time. Yet if he gets the catalyst, it is all over. He resurrects his power, then he becomes the most powerful human alive. However, he does not know where it is, which is why he has come for me. At his best, he is only able to slow down time a bit in order for him to gain the edge. I'll still be able to defeat him with my powers, though only barely. With all of your help, he doesn't stand a chance."

"Your minions will not help you, Doctor. The doors of their chambers are hermetically sealed. In fact all doors are. And this safehouse is not the only one I've sealed. I have your whole operation under lockdown."
The image of Rex smiled. Every clone-tank began to release their fluids.
"And I am not hacking your system. I AM your system now. You can do nothing without going through me."
Rex appeared on another screen.
"The most enjoyable thing is that you've caused this by using your little tracer." Rex voice was eerily echoing now.
"Those bio-mechanics you've used to defend you most important systems are under my controll as well."
Rex appeared on two more screens.
"And you delude yourself. We could never rule together. One of us would be the superior of the other. And you nor me will settle for the inferior position." Rex voice was switching between the screens at random.
"No. No, we would have betrayed eachother at the first opertuninty. You've showed your hand the first time by tracing me."
The experimental droid walked into Morte's lab and began firing at the equipment.

"What the-?" said Ouroboros as the droid was destroying Morte's equipment. "What do you think gives you the right to destroy this?!"
He then paused time and teleported onto the droid. He grabbed a nearby sword and punched a hole through the robot's soft parts. Ouroboros smiled and then said, "Nighty night" as he stuck an armed grenade into the hole.
He teleported away to a safe distance and resumed time. The droid exploded in a shower of metal and fire. Ouroboros returned to the computers and looked for the information he was searching for. He couldn't find it. The droid had damaged it too much for him to find it.
"DAMN IT!" yelled Ouroboros as he slammed his fist onto the computer, breaking it into several pieces. "Time to go to the source, then..."

"There was important data inside these computers. Morte never hooks computers that hold vital information to any connection whatsoever. This was the only way to get it. The only other remaining source of this information lies with Zero." replied Ouroboros. "I suppose I shall have to drain him of his power to learn of its location. Help me or not, I don't care. But if you get in my way, there's nothing that will stop me from killing you. All of you."

Xion geared up and followed the rest of the zero-killer group into the mansion. During their first engagement he had kept himself to the background, just shoot randomly at the minions with nanobot bullets that started analizing the clones as they died, eating them in the process.
"Heh. Once I get back to the base I can start studying these abominations of the Doctor. Who knows, maybe I find out something which will help project Nanohive." Xion thought smilingly
However, the smile did not last as the group made their way through the mansion and met "Morte". The shock of seeing Morte alive left Xion just standing there wideeyed with his mouth opened. He did not move again until after Ouroboros shot Morte. Xion then let out a howl of rage "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORTE!" he materialized five "poles" which he stabbed into Morte's body. One in the heart, one in each of the lungs, one in the stomach and the last on right through the head.
"Bon appetite!" he said sarcastically as the spears dissolved into small carnivous nanobots that ate Morte's body before crawling back onto Xion(this also happened with the Dr. Clones).
((Of screen Xion has upgraded the nanobots to let themselves be reprogrammed without Xion having to do it from a computer. Read: He made his brain the computer.))
While his nanobots were taking care of Morte's body, Xion hurried to the computer room where he sat the nanobots to start eating up the computer(s) of Morte and Zero(This order was initiated before Rex and Ouroboros destroyed the computer, so I might get away with something....or not...), he would rebuild it once safely back into his own base and see what info he could get out of it. Unfortunatly Morte's computer was destroyed by
Then it was off after the superheroes, Xion managed to run up to the biggest puppet of all times just in time to hear him finnish his conversation with the two superheroes(Read: from the info about Ouroboros started) and he stopped to listen before engaging Zero in conversation "Good day mr. Zero, I don't know if you remember me, but I am Xion, "Master" Morte's old labrat, pupil and assistant. I heard you have been played like a violin by him for years, so I take it you want revenge on the snow. Well know what? So do I, so you just tell me what to do and I'll go do it." Xion said before turning to Inferno "Ohh and Inferno, just to make it clear right now, I do confess that I and that cute little psychopath Carrie did murder your parents, but you should know that it was on "Zero's orders" which now means "on Morte's orders" Now if you want to kill me and Carrie that's fine, but let's at the very least wait until we have done in Morte! After we have taken care of him I promise I will meet you as a man in a one-on-one fight, I'll even let you chose the time and place! Now, is that a deal?" Xion said before stretching out his hand towards Inferno.
Like any other evil maniac Xion was prepared for being attacked here and now, an had made layers of thick fireproof nanobot skin over his whole body.
((If anything in this post is confusing please say so. I have a lot which I wanted to do during the fight, but I have not had internet connection yesterday so I had no opportunity for posting...
And the school just lost both electricity and internet so I can still not post -.-))

"Xion...why yes, I do remember you. As for Morte, I heard tell that Ouroboros had finished up with that slimy rat." replied Zero, "But, we don't have much time, gather the others and meet me in the courtyard outside. Ouroboros fights up close in the shadows. As it is just now becoming dawn, he will have a disadvantage."
Inferno then responded to Xion, saying, "I am done with this. I'm not saying that I forgive you. But I won't pursue the matter any longer. Besides...as a result I have become stronger. I don't think I can thank you for it, but I'll leave the matter at rest...for now."

"Done with this? Won't forgive me?" Xion burst into laughter before turning his voice into a mimic of Obi-Wan "Yes, that is the spirit, my young apprentice." Xion's voice shifted to Darth Vader "Join the dark side, we got cookies!" Xion voice shifted to normal and he stopped laughing and turned to Zero "Sir!" he nodded before running of to gather the rest of his "allies"
"People gather up, Zero wants a word with us!" Xion shouted as he went down stairs.

Eventually all of the Superheroes and Supervillains, with the exception of Rex and the missing Kane, ended up in the courtyard along with Zero and Rex's droids. There they waited for Ouroboros to come, for Zero knew that his presence would be sensed by the power hungry superhuman. Finally Ouroboros floated out of the mansion with his arms crossed and two large objects floating behind him. One was a large zweihander flameberge, and the other was the corpse of Calamity.
Sidewinder's eyes opened wide as looked at the ruined corpse of who he had just discovered to be his father. "You monster, what have you done to him!?"
Ouroboros brought his hand gloved forward and made a "shut up" gesture. Sidewinder's mouth was suddenly shut and he couldn't open it as much as he tried, as if an invisible force was keeping him from speaking. Ouroboros then said, "Much better. Now don't worry about this husk of a man. He was already dead when I found him, though not quite. It seems the recently deceased Dr. Frankenstein down in his cave below had reanimated Calamity and was somehow able to replicate his powers. At the moment, when i found him, he seemed 'inactive'. So I merely got rid of a potential enemy and took advantage of a useful power that he possessed. As for the sword, I thought it may be useful at some point. Anyhow, I don't see why you little sh*ts should care, really. Now Zero, what is the meaning of this confrontation?"
Zero's eyes flashed gold, and then in an instant he drew his sword and charged at Ouroboros as he said, "You'll never get the catalyst!". Ouroboros reacted quickly and summoned his sword to him. They both fought there for a good 5 minutes, neither looking like they had the upper hand. Then Ouroboros floated away quickly as he let the sword do the fighting for him.
"Help me, you fools! Don't just stand there!" yelled out Zero, who was obviously having trouble fight off the animated sword.

They rushed towards Ouroboros in an effort to help Zero. Some were firing their guns, while others drew upon their powers or attacked with melee weapons. There seemed to be no way for him to survive, much less escape. Then Ouroboros struck out with his palms open to the left and right. Suddenly everything seemed to...stop... They could all see what was going on and what was moving, which seemed to be nothing. The bullets were still, Inferno's fire was immobilized, and what was once a blur was Sidewinder in mid-stride. Ouroboros was completely still...and then...he moved. Ouroboros lowered his arms and teleported to beside Zero's head.
"Ahhh...what does it feel to be powerless, Zero? To be unable to stop yourself from your fate?" said Ouroboros chillingly through his mask. "It feels terrible doesn't it? You slowly feel your rational thought slipping and your primal instincts kicking in. And then what is left of you? Fear. That is what you have done to me. You made me fearful, scared, hopeless... Now I can repay the favor with a snap of my fingers."
He then ripped Zero's mask off, revealing an sad old face with much regret and sorrow in it. "I have a reason to hide myself. What is yours, old man? Cowardice? Now you shall have to pay for your cowardice and arrogance."
Ouroboros grabbed his sword out of midair and then walked up the Sidewinder and then said, "I am sorry, my friend. We haven't had time to formerly introduce ourselves, but I'm sure you aren't too worried about that."
Ouroboros held his sword tip against Sidewinder's chest and then continued, "I'm not nearly fast enough to catch you before you cause some real problems, so I'll just save myself some trouble right now. Goodbye."
With that Ouroboros stabbed Terrence Johnston in the heart. Terrence felt all of the pain and the blade, but could not move and could not feel his blood flowing or his tears falling. All he could do was watch and suffer seemingly endless pain. Inferno tried to yell and scream for his friend, but he couldn't. Like all of the others, the most he could do was watch in horror.
Ouroboros let out a cold hearted cackle and then said to Zero, "Now you know how I felt all those years back! Except that my pain was worse! It was not your family that was killed, it was a man you barely know! Yet you still feel the stabs of a thousand icy daggers in your heart. I no longer have this disadvantage, as you have desensitized me to it. You were so powerful, that no one dared kill someone you loved and trusted except for yourself. However, now that you realize who you are and what you have done, you will feel the oncoming rush of the remorse of a million crying souls! Now before I increase this pain tenfold for the deaths of everyone else here, tell me where the Catalyst is!"
Ouroboros took Zero's sword and threw it away and then released him from the time prison.
Zero fell down onto the ground and started whimpering pathetically.
Ouroboros knelt onto one knee by Zero and then said, "Awww...don't cry little lamb. You can prevent any more deaths by telling me where the Catalyst is. SO JUST TELL ME!! No? Very well."
Ouroboros teleported to where Special was, who was in her dragon form. "Oh my dear, I am so sorry, but perhaps you should change your allegiances in the life, eh Hahahahaha!"
Ouroboros then telekinetically made her head explode.
Zero then charged towards Ouroboros screaming and crying as he ran weaponless. Ouroboros simply snapped his fingers and Zero was again within the time prison.
"No? Perhaps you need more persuasion, eh?
Ouroboros took out his magnum and shot Raphael and Geoffrey in their heads. "How about now?"
Zero was released from his prison and collapsed. He then nodded at Ouroboros and said, "S-s-siegfried k-knows."
"Well that's better than it could have been. I am glad you saw reason." replied Ouroboros. "It's too bad I can't keep you around long enough. You are just too dangerous to leave with them alone. I'm going to take no chances, Zero. Goodbye."
Ouroboros then beheaded Zero. Zero, the mysterious criminal mastermind, leader, villain, hero was...dead. There was no bringing him back.
Ouroboros then said to whoever was left, "Fare well, everyone! I am done with you all and your powers for now. Perhaps we shall see each other again sometime soon? Well at any rate, I have overstayed my visit here...goodbye..."
With that he teleported away, releasing the time stop, leaving Sidewinder, Special, Geoffrey, Raphael, and Zero dead.

After the 'supervillain war' as the media named the event in Zero's mansion, Vlad's place was stormed by CIA, only to find it empty. Vlad was gone a week before the operation. All that was left in the warehouse was a note on the wall saying "better luck next time comrades". It was written in russian. Vlad had left for Archangelsk, his home town, where under the name 'Krasnoi satan' he had slaughtered the local russian mafia within a week. He's also might be responsible for the assassination of several oligarchs and Russia's prime minister.

Several days after the Supervillain war, the industrial district of New Constantinople was hit by several large explosions, completely wrecking the buildings the explosives were set in. The media had reported that the buildings were owned by a mysterious foreign business man Manfred von Drake and that the explosions were likely a terrorist act against his international conglomerate. Very little evidence was found on the scenes, just the remains of the high-tech explosives.
At the same time, the supervillain called the Admiral disappeared from the crimescene. His flood of illegal weapons, his corporate terrorism and his sabotage of the army came to a sudden halt. Some people say he died in the supervillain war, others say that he had replaced to many body parts to remain a viable human, there are also those who say that he simply moved to a city where the heat was lower. Nobody knows what became of him.
After the equally mysterious kidnapping of Dr. Violet, a new player came to the New Constantinople crimescene.
Usually appearing from seemingly nowhere, robots dressed in trenchcoats and fedora's are carving their own piece of the pie. Often heavily armed, they are slowly taking over the turf of the other crime families. Their rise is slow, as it seems their primary goal is somethign else for now. However these robots, becoming known as the Machine Mob, are rarely stopped by either the police of the other criminals. They are hard to destroy and tend to keep going on the same pace if damaged. Controlled by a puppetmaster or hivemind, these robots are on the road of becoming one of the greatest threats of New Constantinople.

The Doctor sat in his underground base, his eyes closed and his thoughts another place. Most of his bases had been destroyed, but not this one. This one was still intact, and he guessed it was because of the thick layers of led surrounding it. And of course also the fact that there were no way to take control over it. The only reason it had avoided having the Admiral destroy it, as he had done the others. One of his soldiers stood by the thick door leading outside, staring at nothing and waiting orders so that he could be useful. And in front of him were three large glass sylinders filled with a greenish liquid, a low hum came from the reactor they were powered by. Two of them contained his two last clones, though the most important ones. He didn't have the army he used to, so the clones was what he would have to rely on. The third tank were what he hoped would expand his powers, Kane was put into the container and kept asleep until the Doctor was finished with him. They would all tremble once they saw what he had created.
"Soon." he hissed. "Soon."

Five days after the supervillain war, charges were pressed against Jack Redfox claiming that he was a henchmen or partner of infameous supervillain Crimson Song Xion. Jack was brought to trial and nanotech company suffered a lot of pressure and mediaslaugther because of it. However, it all soon came to an sudden end when Jack Redfox was assaulted and murdered by a believed to be dead superhero "Ocean Patronus"((I once talked with Berny-Mac about her, so unless he comes with any big protests I will introduce her to the story as a kind of NPC superhero running around in the background. Char sheet will be posted in SH OOC) who the media now dubbed "Iratus Virgo" for her actions against Redfox.
Post-Mortem Jack Redfox was cleared of all charges and the nanotech company got many apologizes from both the media and the city council for the trouble they had caused them. Two weeks after Jack Redfox's death, the company went public.
A day barely passed between Jack's death and his cremation sermony. And only hours after his cremation, Nanotech company suffered a wild and unstoppable hacking attack that copied all the information stored in it's computers.
Three days after Jack's death, the police got a list of Xion "hideouts" which they raided within hours. Unfortunatly for them, all the computers in the hideout were already stripped of all information and set on a automatic self-destruction sequence. Something which made the police worried about Xion's status.
Since then, no one has ever heard or seen Xion again. And the theories flooded the media. Some said he had died. Some said he had retired. Some said that he had allied himself with the Admiral and that both of them were together somewhere plotting an evil scheme to bring as much grief, sorrow and pain as they possibly could to the world before they died. However, all this was forgotten quick, as a new wave of villains and superheroes would strike the city.
A few months later, a very weird event occured on the East side of NC. On the exact same day all the organized crime syndicates in the area just disappeared into thin air, without leaving anything but empty headquarters, illegal goods and plans over different buildings. Some of the bodies appeared again thou, but not until weeks later, but then they apperead as walking decombosing corpses. When the police arrived to deal with them, the corpses suddenly just disintrigrated into billions of little grey bugs that disappeared into the ground. The police and the city had now been left terrified of whatever or whoever was responsable for the walking dead.
