Rex had just finished his sentence when the two ladies walked into the training room. As the scene played out, Rex indeed noticed that it was not Zero's body that did the talking. Which made Rex' mind race. 'The young-man with the mad eyes was right and this "Zero" standing in the room is fake. And the person behind the intercom was likely the "Actual Zero". Thought that isn't certain either. Either way the real purpose of tonight would be about to unfold in this room.'
The sprinklers went of and extinguished Inferno and more tragically Rex' pipe.
The "fake Zero" started talking, but Rex started laughing out loud.
"I was right. We were being watched all along and we still are now."
Rex let out another chuckle and fished the wet wodge of tobacco out of his pipe. "Now this is useless, I shoudl think about taking up snuff. That's less weather sensitive." Rex moved to the dustbin where he stood earlier and threw the useless tobacco in. Again he leaned to the wall, intent on observing the way the scene would play out here. The Vulture was still on alert and it would stay so untill he either got in or went to it. Which reminded Rex that he should do some damage assessment ASAP. That the Vulture was still functioning did not mean it wasn't damaged.

Vlad exited the dining hall and went to the training room. On the way he counted the remaining slugs of the shotgun. With six loaded in the gun he had eighteen remaining. These will have to do for tonight. He'll use his knife if needed. Wouldn't be the first time.

As Kane was the last in the room he finished his food and was about to exit, when he remembered his jacket still hanging on his chair. He hurried to pick it up, making sure the knives were ready to be launched into his hands in the blink of an eye, and ran off to the training room. If he were to fight, he would prefer not to be stiff.
"This could be interesting." he said to himself, just before he opened the door and entered the room, giving everyone a huge smile as he saw them. He had a tendency to be too nice to people, they were usually surprised when he went into sudden rage.

After having taking a breather outside Xion rentered the house of Zero and saw the servant named Geoffrey.
"Hello, Geoffrey! Take me to Zero's office, and by the way, you wouldn't mind giving me the recipices or a recipe book for the food you made back in the dinner?" Xion asked while walking beside the man.
Later, Xion could see the door leading into the training room as well as hear voices from the other side.

"Hahahahaha! I'm glad you all caught on!" said the real Zero on the intercom. "This is my newest project, the mimic bot. It may not look like much, but it has great potential. I wanted to test that out, however, that's not all I wanted to do."

After nearly all the guests had entered the room, Zero admitted that the person standing with them was a robot. Which saved Rex some time as he probably would have mentioned it, after the other guest made a fool of themselves thinking it was the real Zero, as Rex did a few minutes before. However the mention of robot's sparked a few ideas in Rex' mind. Already several Robot-soldier designs formed in his mental drawingboard.
"I have to note some of this down," Rex muttered to himself while fishing out a notebook and ballpoint from his pocket. Quickly jotting notes, Rex continued to mutter. "Such human likeness is unnesecary; Infantry plus heavy infantry; walker support; tanks; Yes, that'll do nicely. New Gryphon design to replace Vulture, depending on the damage of course. Yes, yes. I'll show them who's who. Hehehe."
Rex placed the notebook and pen in his pocket again.
"Though first I'll need to study this little contraption," Rex said. The others may have noticed that phrase, but it would be more important that one of Zero mics picked it up. "I'd love to take that apart to study the guts and gizzards." Again Rex relaxed himself, content to once again observe the way the scene would play out. But he had barely pointed his face in the direction of the other guests when he noticed a draft. Which seemed to originate from one of the mirrors in the room, the one a few scant inches away from him.

As Xion entered the room, the replicate Zero was just revealing that he infact was a robotic replicate.
"Now that sure is intriguing. Cause that means that not only was I right about you being a robot, but I was right about you being a robot!" Xion said and raised his chest like if he was somekind of unintelligent fool.
"Except for nanobots, robots have really never been my thing, neither is any other machines for that matter, thou I do know quite well how to make a robot and how alot of weapons and machinery functions. How else should I be able to make them perfectly using my nanobots." Xion thought inside himself "And that also explains why the crystal globe and that weird eye was not hanging around Zero when I first entered the dining hall."
As Xion thought the last thing he noticed that the old man and the reaper where both standing in the corner of the room, this time playing with marble's instead. It seemed like the reaper had a thing for playing with children's game. He also noted himself that the room seemed to be quite empty...except for the flying desk and papers that was in front of Zero.
((Correct me if I am wrong))

- A bucket of bolts. That's our challenge?- Dissapointment was heard in Vlad's voice, however he was gripping his shotgun hard, ready to fire from it at any second.- I expected more. But maybe it has more than meets the eye.

Cecilia let out a little laugh.
"You men are so simple minded. I have no doubt that Zero is laughing at your simplicity right now.", she said with a smirk.
"But I am along with them in that regard that this has gone on long enough. Time for you to tell why you really wanted us here. The cities most powerful person doesn't gather other gifted people over dinner just for kicks. Especially not if the people are very capable of turning the house and inhabitants into rubble and splatter respectively. You had us here for a reason and you've worn out our patience. So time to come forth with your proposal.", she addressed no one in particular but rather the whole room.

"Don't think that this thing is just a rust-bucket, Xion. The outerlayer is comprised of nanobots that assume different colors and textures to perfectly match me. Of course, inside it is just a normal bot, but I am working on a fully morphing and realistic mimic bot made entirely of nanobots, that way, it can reform constantly so that it is almost impossible to destroy, unless Inferno here flares up." said Zero from the intercom. "Now I thank you for entering my house. Your all have given your appearances, voices, and other qualities to my mimic bot and more. Thank you all for your time. Now don't be worried, this was just a test run of my automatic scanning systems. So far so good. Now, to get onto the main course of the meal, and don't take that literally, I would like you all to kill Inferno before he gets out of my penthouse.
"WHAT!?" yelled Inferno in horror.
"However, on these terms." continued Zero, "One, once he gets out, you are not to harm him at all until the next encounter starting tomorrow. Then you can do whatever the hell you want. Secondly, he gets a ten minute head start, or I'd might as well hand his head to you all on a platter. Thirdly, and most importantly, don't destroy anything in my house, nearly everything here is rather expensive and often priceless. The winner gets the sweet taste of victory. Oh, and also, no help from the butlers or Geoffrey. You all will have to find your way around my labyrinthine penthouse. Inferno, you should run now, and try not to burn anything."
Inferno looked shocked for about a second then ran off as if the devil was chasing him.
"This is going to be so much fun..." said Zero.

WHY? Why did she have to wait?
She pouted and drew her sword.
She made a lot of slashing manoeuvres and shot angrily at the wallsfor the first two minutes and sat angrily on the ground for the remaining eight. Once the ten minute mark was passed, she rapidly propelled herself forward, using her psychokinetic energy as a means of doing that. She decided to check the lowest floors as enclosed spaces would make his breath weapon more efficient. And maybe he'd find a way to get sneak out unnoticed there.
This is assuming he didn't find a way out already.

Kane didn't smile anymore, he never smiled when he was to kill someone. He didn't like flames too much, but flames could by no means stop one of his daggers once thrust. When the 10 minutes were past Kane stepped outside and took a deep breath, and simply followed his instincts. He had memorized the way from the entry, and ran as fast as he could in the direction of the door. Always know your way out, then you won't be trapped. he thought.

Xion opened his eyes in shock as Zero started explaining the facts around the robot before them all.
"No way in hell!" he outbursted "I mean, even if you are Zero we are at the minimum ten years away from achiving any form of nanotechnology of that level! I don't really snowing care if you had been Einstein reborn, that you have been able to develop technology at this kind of level right under the noses of all of the biggest companies, who I do remind you still keeps their eyes wide open at you is about as impossible as a rock growing arms and start swimming!"

Right before Inferno stormed out, Xion created a detector device and attempted to throw it onto Inferno before he could go out. Somehow Xion missed, thou Xion suspected it was the work of Zero's advance machinery. Xion settled on creating enough detector devices which would double as wakie-talkies to give the other guests at the party. While waiting, Xion decided to walk around the room handing each and everyone of the others with the short comment "Seing as we all seem to hunting the same target, we might as well work together." However, this was only a cover for making them take one each. The minute the others touched the device it would activate and some of the nanobots would crawl out of the device to plant themselves on the guests themselves and afterwards send out the signal needed for his pocket PC to pick them up.
When the ten minute mark was just reached the first one to storm out was the young teenager girl who practicly flew out of the door and once she was outside the desk and everything on it fell down on the floor again. "So she was the telekinet." Xion mumbled as the others left as well. After which he calmly got his pocket PC out and got up a screen that showed the map that the other compeditors were slowly drawing for Xion.
((If anyone of you, or Zero will lay in reasons why I cannot do this with the PC, or if you want to put in that you found the devices, please go right ahead))

Rex listened carefully to Zero's message. It was mostly bad news. Rex would not like Zero's bot to run around impersonating him. Also the fact that the framework of the robot was run-of-the-mill meant that it was of little use to take it apart as there were many others like it. Others which were far more easy to get hold of. Rex knew that his strengths were not of hand-to-hand combat, he was a good shot with his pistols but he could not use them in this environment. Considering that he would need his mech-suit to be of any threat to the hero he would have to sit this one out, he just leaned back and looked at the gathered guests. They were not taking any notice of him except for the the youngman who had taken of his goggles and was eyeing everyone intently. Rex moved to the mirror he felt the draft come from and inspected it thoroughly, mindfull to make it appear that he was looking to straightening his clothing. The goggleless youngman handed him a walkie-talkie, which Rex slipped in his pocket with a nod. Given his interest in nanobots it cloud be rigged with just about anything. 'Let him, I'll be of little use. I won't be participating in this little hunt. Also that little outburst of his might be informative, but I'm not sure what of it is true.' Rex thought.
It took him a little while but he finally found the secret passage behind it and reasoned how to open it, slip in and close it behind him again before anyone noticed. As the teen girl ran out of the room and the others made to leave as well, attention was sufficiently distracted for Rex to sliped into the secret passage. As Rex walked allong the featureless coridor he let his mind go over his plan so far again. 'Let the others chase the hero, see if I can find a computer around here.'

Soon enough Rex gets to the security room where a tall thin man with a brown hat on was leaning on a chair with his legs propped up against a desk as he watched the security cameras (though not all of them of course). He looked over at Rex, slightly smiled and said with an Australian accent, "Come ta watch the show, mate?"
The cameras showed Inferno running through the halls and rooms. The Villains were running around as well.

Kane reached the exit, and leaned against the wall just beside them. Poised to attack as fast as anything moved. Shouldn't have eaten too much. he thought and held his stomach with one hand. Then he extracted both his daggers and waited.

carrie moved cautiously in the basement, tapping her sword against the wall. "I know you're in here, you scared little man!" she said, then suddenly sprayed a few bullets across the room. She ran into the next where there was a lot of cover. "You know, I can sense people, right?" she shouted into the room, pointing her two fingers to her head. "my power gives me total environmental awaren-" she got cut off when a volley of flame came from her side. her force field deflected it mostly, but her dress got singed.
"HOW DARE YOU!" she shouted.

Before Xion did what he did Zero replied to him, "My friend, I can see what they will do, and more importantly, how they will do it. It's only a simple matter of denying them access to any of my files. I will say no more."
Inferno made the ground under Carrie burst into flames, burning her feet slightly, but nothing serious because of her powers.
"Just because I am on the good side of the people, that does not mean I am weak!" yelled out Inferno as he engulfed Carrie's forcefield with fire, not allowing her to see him. He kept the flames up until he was able to escape. Carrie did not know where he went, seeing as there were 3 ways for him to go.
