Same here But I decided to return to my former 'glory' when LotV arrives. Judging by Blizzard, though, I will have plenty of time

Playing FaF and Divinity at the moment. I hear this Grey Goo has something about it, seems like a fun positional strategy game. I might give it a try.

Anyone playing Heroes of the storm?
I absolutely love the beta. It is so great; some bugs or imbalance now and then, but a great fun game.

Bioshock Infinite.
Throw tennisballs at racists, 10/10.
Holy **** this companion, she's genuinely helpful and doesn't get in the way. Whole game is a giant escort mission and magically it's just perfect.
Weapons could have a bit more bite to them me thinks, but that might just be me playing on hard (bullet sponge mode maybe? I dunno).
So far it's worthy of the praise it's gotten... just amazing.

I remember playing that when it first came out
Speaking of weapons...I wonder if they did ever fix the accuracy issues some guns had
Like the portable gatling gun...Sure it spit out bullets faster than any, but sometimes even if you were just standing a few meters away every single bullet would miss

I kinda like the gatling, feels fairly accurate so maybe they patched it.
Storm hat, Overkill pants, RPG + Volley Gun... fire AOE shock jockey then let 'em eat explosives... it' s like perma-stun with all the effects proccing. How I like to play so far

well, at least I haven't lost my skills in FPS yet. well, actually I don't feel like by getting older I get less skilled at video games. in some cases it's the contrary, I couldn't beat DMC1 and 3 when I was younger.
(though I never really tried real time strategy games, I don't know of the level of skills required)

I got Charge and a Shotgun and imagined I was a Mass Effect Vanguard.
Made for pretty fun combat
But yeah it's definitely the weakest part of the game.

yeah, everyone says bioshock infinite is great. now, gunfights are one of the most important part of a FPS, if not the most crucial in most cases.
I was already disappointed by bioshock 2, though it has some qualities, I think it failed as FPS, not very nervous (and when it gets so, if you have no crowd control abilities, you are dead, the character is too slow to rely purely on FPS skills) and often tedious.

Heroes of the STORM!!!!!
Really I have played the snow out of Dota and Dota 2. First moba, definitely the best....until Heroes of the storm. Someone finally nailed the moba down and I'm glad it was blizzard. You level up as a team and there are no items so the greed is gone! for the most part. It is 100% team based and each match doesn't take an hour! I would invite anyone that even slightly likes MOBA games to come an play!

Some Dota 2 here and there.
Also playing some old PS1 and PS2 classics, like the Atelier Iris series. Its nice to come back to a game after many years and still find it as enjoyable as ever.

I played mostly RTS games like Age of Kings and Warcraft maxed until H2 came along. But no clock now, well except for HoI3 but it is not difficulty-sets-speed/events; when you have multiple fronts, firing at the same time, you can slow the clock way down. I suppose most games are made like that now.

I got it and while it was some fun I found strategy is not pure strategy. <imo> It's more putting yourself in better "lucky stances"
Seriously if you think your decisions should effect some control...forget it. There are plenty of instances where players "strategized" to get Genius-trait (maxed-stats) in there bloodline only to get imbeciles.(no stats) <L> But if you like constant fire-alarms where you must respond...then the game might be for you.

Another game I've been really getting into recently is Offworld trading company, which is sort of a space rts, playing as companies and grabbing resources and tech.
Interesting twist of having no direct warfare (more corporate espionage and sabotage in style really).
Still in early access and feeling a bit barebones on some things, and unbalanced on others (most of the black ops you can perform feel a bit underpowered), but i'd say it's coming along rather nicely

Age of Wonders III
I only ask myself why it took me so long to play this game (on the plus side, it's patched quite nicely). Deep, yet not overcomplicated gameplay, nice spell/skill mechanics, combat where not quantity of units, but positioning and tactics matter, 6 (+1 in the making) diverse classes to choose from, great graphics, enormous level of polish (each race has it's own version of class special units!), nice lore, interesting campaign and big replayability value (I prefer custom scenarios, but heard it has a nice RMG). Bah, you can even make your own Leader. There's not that many options, nevertheless I didn't have that much fun with creating a custom Hero in years. Oh and the game has incredible feedback from the devs. I made a post on the official forums about some translation mistakes and they're already working on it
Probably the best TBS game I played in recent years and I'm only starting. It's probably how Heroes VI should've looked...
