Playing Fallout Shelter while I fish and do other low-activity stuff in ESO. My Vault has all of 22 people in it (3 more on the way).

booted up an underrated classic.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance. one of the few legit games I own(as in an orginal CD copy, not torrented down from some dark reaches of teh interwebz)
so much fun, like how Raziel rips out a soul of his victim and devours it. so bloody awesome. this is the game where vampires do suck blood instead of male genitalia.
we need more games like this.

The LoK series is amazing, too bad they decided to make a 5v5 moba instead of making a new LoK game.
If you haven't seen the leaked video of Legacy of Kain Dead Sun i'd recommend watching it even though it wasn't looking too good but a lot of the assets in the canceled game are being reused in Nosgoth which is kinda neat I guess.

seems pretty meh. The combat's nice though.
But IMO what the fanbase expected is a continaution of the story where Defiance left us.
Not some new character, new storyline bullcrap.

Odd. I sent one of my Fallout Shelter Dwellers out into the Wasteland and she came back wearing the Medieval Ruler Outfit (it was an Armored Vault suit when she left). Is this normal?
I was also a little taken aback to find that one of my Dweller's randomly generated names is 'Michael Jackson'.
Edit:
I think the Medieval Ruler outfit was glitched. I noticed my Dweller who found (and was wearing) it's outfit changed every so often (purple skirt with apron -> purple skirt -> black skirt and pink shirt) so I tried to unequip and then re-equip it only to find she couldn't re-equip it. I looked online and apparently that's a male-specific outfit, and indeed it shows up as equipable for my male Dwellers. Very odd all around.

since it's on free weekend, Beyond earth. Not as good as BnW but in a better place than Vanilla Civ5. some extra depth to aliens and stuff and it could be absolutely fantastic! not sure water stuff and expanded diplomacy is enough...

Beyond earth has some fun moments, love the whole ideology path, and in multiplayer it adds some serious sex appeal and personal development to one's civ.
Singleplayer is just boring though, ai have no personality whatsoever.

Better take a screencap, because this is the last ever time you'll witness an EVIL INDIA in a game of civilization.
Gandhi is an insane fascist warmonger in this game who spams cities everywhere, hogs every wonder. He attacked Portugal and took another three cities and now plans to attack Rome. Yes, India. Weak, mild-mannered India. They're going to attack ROME. In a game of Civ 5. It's freaking insane <3
(in case you're wondering, i'm playing on Emperor difficulty)

You know Civ5 ghandi has like a 130% likelihood to build and use nukes, right? In reference off a reasonably famous bug from the first game that made him a bloodthirsty monster.
You also might've shut off leader preferences which means their behaviour is random

kiryu gets it. I'm playing with random personalities, obviously.
HOWEVER, this usually only broadens the flavour modifiers slightly. (usually, the flavour range is 1, meaning you can roll a value one point lower or higher than the normal value. in Random Personalities, the range is 3) Still, AI's trend towards their default behaviour with RP and everyone else behaves normally in this game: Mongolia still compulsively harasses City States, Alexander aligns with every city state, Portugal still settles cities everywhere regardless of distance from the capitol, Elizabeth's still a sour, eager-to-denounce nag, etc.
India has a low default value for all military values, (except Use Nuke which is the max value of 12). He must have rolled a five on both "War" and "Offence" which is enough to turn any AI into a warmonger if they get powerful enough. Gandhi has built half of the wonders in this game, leading to a monstruous teach lead and tourism output allowing him to blob out.

Started replaying Eador: Masters of a Broken World. 2 years ago the game was a technical disaster which combined with its lack of innovations compared to Genesis put it in the refrigerator. Today, many patches later, it's fully playable and the "one more turn" syndrome tries to eat my scarce free time again. Despite its quite a few shortcomings, conceptually this is still one of the best TBS games ever made, addicting as hell and challenging even on lower difficulties.

(A bit late, but...)
there was a bug in the original game that caused Gandhi to turn into a nuke-throwing warmonger once a certain point was reached. The meter for willingness of war or something simply ticked over. (the thing he gets is supposed to make civs less willing to wage war but he is already as low as one gets, hence sudden murder spree).
The 12/10 willingness to build and use nukes in Civ 5 is a reference to that. (A civs given value can go up or down by 2 so he was given 12 to make sure he ALWAYS makes nukes. It is the only value in the game over 10)

It's normal for dweller to change outfit while they are out, they will automatically use the "best" outfit they find so if it's better than your current one they will put it on(same with weapons). I once had some of my dwellers out and checked back to see some bishop, ninja, mayor, ceasar and horror outfits on them
And I think some of those random names aren't that random, I've had about dozen movie/pop-stars as my dwellers(for example megan fox).
Must say Fallout Shelter is a very fun game at first, too bad there is like literally nothing to do once you get to 100+ populations aside try to just find better junk and fill the unknown slots(at this point you got good guns/outfits and trained dwellers). Also luck has too major of an effect on the game. My first vault I never got legendary dwellers(on phone), 2nd vault I started on tablet 4 days later and it has caught up with my first one in roughly 4 days just coz I got total of 4 legendary dwellers from my first 7 lunch-boxes. Hopefully the game gets something added for late game as it just gets incredibly passive
