Warhammer Vermintide
It's an awesome game, it's kinda like l4d except with more medieval combat styles and harder.
Also the loot system is pretty good I think

Killing Skavens?
And why don't they make a game where you play as a minion of the Horned Rat? An actual Skaven maybe? This would be so much more interesting then another "Van Helsing" game...

And then you get back-stabbed by all your "friendly" NPC's at once in the middle of the first mission.
yeah, I can see why not...

Because Skaven lifespan on the battlefield is about 5 seconds?
In any case they said they might do a "Baddies" addon where you get to play as ratmen, the warriors of chaos and the like
Also Vermintide has literally nothing to do with Van Helsing so yeah

Well the missions connect to eachother (also) like in L4D so there is a story as to why you're doing them
For like, the background of the game and stuff? I think it's just that its the end times and the skaven are invading

hmm,
I only play 2 games over and over again: Heroes and Dota (the real Dota, not dota2)
Also, I'm also into fifa, counterstrike, or fun games like bomberman and worms. Sadly though, I'm not playing these games anymore for various reasons (to lazy to install fifa and cs), and I don't have people to play bomberman, and worms with.
Also, I also like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, etc. (this type of games, but MK is on the top of the list), but... they usually don't flat out work (or at least not on my computer, or maybe I don't know how to make them work properly, god only knows...)
And that's about it. I'm not really a gamer in the real manner of speaking (i.e. I play every game that comes out), but rather I stick to the same games for eternity
Although... I do enjoy something new every once in a while, like for example 4 or 5 years ago I played Diablo 2 for the first time in my life (I'm not a multiplayer type of player, so I prefer single player modes, and for this type of play I had no issues with playing Diablo 2 so long after it came out). And, also on the same topic I'd like to mention one of my favorite games like Diablo that I think is underrated, and somehow unknown. Too bad they're not making a sequel to it, it was so much fun, and I absolutely loved the ingenuity and fun of the quests in the game (even though I googled most of them, because I didn't know how to do )... The game is called "Avencast: Rise of the Mage", and it's probably my favorite game of the ones that are not my favorites (if that makes sense). Like I said, too bad they're not making a continuation of it. It was too amazing of a game, even if it was a short one (you could end it in 2-3 days if you played it start to finish, maybe even less than 2 days). Clockstone? Clockwerk? Not sure who made the game, but seriously, if you're into this type of games, and you've missed it, well... don't miss it!
There's a few bugs in the game I think (at least I played a buggy version), but overall it's a great experience.
And yeah, that's really everything I'm playing... or used to play

I've started playing "Knights of the Old Republic II." I like it but there's one tiny problem - I haven't played the first KotOR, so I have extremely scarce knowledge on what happened. Luckily, one of the optional game quests is getting to know as much about Mandalorian Wars as possible, so maybe as the games goes by I won't be that confused. Besides, KotOR is also on GOG, so I'll be able to buy it easily once I finish KotOR II.

Dead Rising 3. It's about as deep as a puddle but it really scratches the "kill thousands of zombies with ridiculous weaponry" itch.

Installed WoW again. You can tame exotic pets as a hunter at only level 10 now so I got my chimera and am having fun. Probably won't last more than a month or two, never does

I think WoW's end game is severely flawed. You realize after getting at max level that the fun has ended. The adventure is what it was all about for me. You then start raiding and become the most powerful you can be, and at that point you panic because there's nothing left to do. So you either start roleplaying, go full PvP or quit. I did all three of them and I'm not picturing a comeback anytime soon.

there is another alternative: Solo old content, rep grinds, Archeology or just AFK in Stormwind/Orgrimmar.
Or just pick another too and start from the bottom.

You pretty much cover all that pursuing achievements. And besides playing Rogue, Paladin, Warrior and Death Knight I've played little else as extensively, tho I gave a fair chance to everything. But that's not really the point, you can always repeat your progression under different classes but you'll end up in the same dead place of AFKing in some city. Kinda hard to come across on this but nevertheless that's how I always felt during endgame.

true. there are also mat grinding and poffession leveling. mining/jc was my pick for my main toon (enhance shaman) Flying in circles and clicking on mining nodes is much better than AFKing in a capital city on some rare mount.
bottom line is if you're a PvE player and you're not in a hardcore raiding guild endgame sucks. because you're for the most part stuck in raid finder with elitist scrubs. PVP is decent imo, but if you do arena, better do it with a buddy and not some random scrub.
Coincidentally speaking wow is the game I play these days most as well, although it's on warmane which is a pirate server.
Despite my initial dislike of MOP expansion I enjoy it so far. only beef is that the harmony motes are sb. oh yeah, and the bugs which are frequent on pirate realms. and 90% of the old content being shut off. oh yeah, and the occasional max lvl moron ganking lowbies or killing off npcs in low lvl zones.

Pirate servers? Those aren't stable, kinda weak if you loose all you progression because server was shut down. Happened to me once, so I don't touch them anymore
Did any of you try Chaos Reborn? What are your opinions?
Game gets some nice scores, people going so far as to say it's the best TBS currently. I tried it myself, and while I definately see it's potential, production values and nice atmosphere, I find it's battle mechanic a bit cheap. Game is about positioning, yet it's your standard "ranged dominates all" flick. At least that's the first impression I get. Spam Elves, get them on high ground and skewer your opponents. It doesn't help that the game has a strange HP/unit endurance philosophy: not counting misses most fights are one-hit KO's and it doesn't matter if you summon a Rat or a might Unicorn. Maybe it's a matter of unit tiers, I only started the game and only got so far, while there are dragons and other s*it later on, so maybe...
Nevertheless I recommend to check this out. Some additional opinions would be nice
PS: Oh, as a little "promotion", the game was made by the X-Com series guy and it's a remake of a popular 80s game

You playing? The game is easily among the best TBSs ever but it's indie, no shiny graphics and unfriendly interface so no wonder that few people know about it.

I do, I'm a complete noob though, I still have trouble managing myself in the late game.
The fact that it has simple graphics makes it extremely simple to mod, that's one of the reasons I love it.
That and making a giant plesiosaurus to command Lovecraftian beings.

@Blob: given my expirience in pirate wow servers, warmane is currently the most stable one so far. there are plenty of players most of the content works as intended except for a few minor issues.
But yeah, there were the bad ones.
Back in Vanilla there was a rooskie server, where you had to pay a monthly fee after you dinged lv30.
Lithuanians had few of those, but they sucked ass and were a massive bugfest. Not to mention that the buddies of the admins could exploit their way to top tier gear and go gank lowbies for snows and giggles.
and then we have the "fun" servers with a bunch of random nonsense.

That, plus the depth and the near infinite replayability. Dominions is probably the only game with no real storyline but such an impressive lore that it's better than the products of many mainstream companies which employ professional writers to shape their universes. There is a small but very dedicated community which occasionally organizes on-line matches, you can check the official forum if interested (these are not my cup of tea though, I prefer long games on big maps which are no option in MP).
